Morning, I slept 9.30 til 4 and hoping to doze back off so not too bad. I'd love to sleep through!

I think that once you are a few weeks pregnant the line fades because there's too much pregnancy hormone or something.
You have to dilute it or I would buy
a digital.

Glad your sickness is dying off Gin.

I'm awake, I was going to go back to sleep but I figured I should at least make an effort to talk to DP, where I've been sleeping so much I've barely seen him in a couple if weeks! Blush

I fancy a lovely big bowl of porridge but the thought of making it is making me feel sick.
I'm at the point of only eating what suddenly takes my fancy, I can't plan and cook actual meals.

I hope everyone starts feeling a bit more settled into their pregnancy soon. Smile
Let his thread is huge, the last one I was/am on only had about 20 regulars. Grin

Justyouwaitandsee · 24/09/2014 05:57

Morning! I slept through from 9.30 till 5.15 when DH's alarm went off. Woke up bursting for a wee though and forgot to take a sample for the midwife who I see this morning. Am sure I'll need another before the appt though.

What time has everyone else been going to bed? I was tucked up by 20:20 the night before.

I am exactly the same with food Tits, it's driving my DH mad as I normally plan most meals but atm I can't think or fancy food until I reach the point of starving and need to eat right there and then!

How are my fellow early morning insomniacs?! Crashed at just gone 8pm last night and woke up around half 4 for a wee so not as bad as the night before. Feel slightly more human this morning!

Constipation is still an issue but I'm learning to live with it now I know it's not the baby in danger. I am also getting more twinges below my belly button if I sit on the sofa for too long, hence why I'm popping up to bed to lie down so early. (8+4)

I went to the docs at 4 weeks too Tori as after my previous early mc, I wanted it recorded and be on my GPs radar if needed. He didn't mention it was too early to see him at all and got me all registered. Felt like I was doing something proactive with my pregnancy, rather than feeling even more helpless, especially when you've been through hell before. Hope today goes well xx

KittyVonCatsington · 24/09/2014 06:43

Sunshine -I've got 6 nieces and nephews too (!) ranging from 7 years to 1 year. Being a teacher, I have childminded loads in the school holidays for years so I have "some" things down with small ones already Grin

Sunshinesaz86 · 24/09/2014 07:40

Morning ladies, as usual awake twice in the night but do seem to manage to drift back off, is it just me or has autumn literally arrived overnight? Brrrr!!

Kitty how strange you have the same, at least you've had a bit if practice which I'm sure will come in handy in the long run. mine range from 8-5 and that's just my side DP has two nieces 1 aged 7 and 1, 5 months nappies changed by me out of the possible thousands = 1 where I was hungover and got poop on my finger lol!! Bring it on I say haha Grin

Titsalinabumsquash · 24/09/2014 07:45

I have developed pregnancy hayfever, I never get hay fever but I can't stop sneezing and my nose won't stop running, I have so signs of a cold or anything though. What's that about?!

Cariad2014 · 24/09/2014 08:00

Sorry to those of you who are struggling with insomnia at the moment - sounds utterly rubbish.

Apologies in advance for the me me me post. Having a bit of a panic at this end - stupidly took another CB digital this morning and the conception indicator is still saying 2-3 weeks pregnant (and has been for the past 9 days) (when based on ovulation dates I should be 5+2 and so 3+ weeks). I know there are loads of threads on here casting doubt on the accuracy of the conception indicator but I can't help worrying that my hcg levels aren't doubling as they should, which combined with the brown spotting I had over the weekend fills me with an imminent sense of doom. Think I might phone the GP later and beg them to let me have some blood tests... Really not sure I could cope with another mc right now.

MrsS010814 · 24/09/2014 08:20

CB digital is very inaccurate, I peed last week and it said 2-3 when I am 9 weeks! Then had fresh red bleeding, feared the worst, but scan at EPU was fine! Try and get seen to put your mind at ease but from my experience and from reading other ppls experiences as well, it doesn't seem the most accurate.

LinaDee · 24/09/2014 08:32

Cariad - I had blood tests that showed my hcg levels weren't doubling and I was really worried. But 2 weeks ago I had a scan which showed a wee 6 week bean with a healthy heart beat.
The CB digitals are notorious for this. Try not to worry yourself - and take it from me... Even if your hcg levels aren't doing what they're "supposed" to do, it doesn't necessarily mean anything sinister.

LinaDee · 24/09/2014 08:34

Sorry cariad, meant to say. Don't ask for the blood tests, get a scan at EPU if you can. I went through a week of hell with those blood tests. They may very well do them anyway if a scan doesn't show anything.

Cariad2014 · 24/09/2014 08:43

Thanks Lina - that's very reassuring. Congrats on seeing a heartbeat - so very exciting! Called my GP who told me to ring my local EPU so will do so as soon as they open. I'm hoping they'll be able to see me tomorrow.

Cariad2014 · 24/09/2014 09:16

Thanks for the reassurance MrsS. Glad your scan went well - red blood would have freaked me out completely. Realistically I think it might be too early for the EPU to be able to give me a huge amount of reassurance, but I think I'd go mad if I just sat and did nothing over the next few weeks. I'm hoping that by being seen early if it is an ectopic they can deal with it now without jeopardising my fertility in the future.

Gingerbreadlady1 · 24/09/2014 10:11

cariad, good luck with the epu, hope they can see u ASAP for a scan as I know the wait is torture.

Morning everyone else! Well I'm also part of the 4am wee club however last night when I got up my t shirt was wet in 2 patches near my nipple?!? Surely too early for this? Anyone else had this? Told my dp & he pulled a grossed out face then saw my reaction & quickly changed his tune!

speedbird17 · 24/09/2014 10:47

Good luck with the EPU today.

Sitting at home wondering what to do with myself today, have so far done two loads of washing, a dishwasher load, done next weeks menu plan, anti-bac wiped all the door handles as we seem to have picked up the lurgy and DH has man flu (sigh) and that's the last thing I want right now!

Really stretchy pains in both sides of my lower abdomen here and a few sharp cramping pains - only symptoms so taking them as a good sign... Although I am eating everything savoury I can get my hands on!! Hello marmite sandwiches, nomnomnom!

LinaDee · 24/09/2014 11:14

Good for you speedbird! I wish i had half your energy. I'm so tired and struggling to motivate myself to do anything - I've been on the couch for about 2 hours now Hmm

speedbird17 · 24/09/2014 11:26

Oh don't get me wrong Lina, between the loads of washing I've caught up on lots of TiVo I've not been in the country to watch for months and had about 4 cups of rooibos tea!!

Been sleeping 9pm-4am and 5am-7am every day too!!

How is everyone else feeling? I think once I get to 6weeks I will start getting horribly sick like I was last time!

BB01 · 24/09/2014 11:52

Am woefully behind now in this thread, it is moving at lightning speed!

Space I really hope your family come together and give you the support you need.

2preteend hope the new medication is helping?

Hope all those with anxieties are ok.

My nausea was terrible over the weekend but been still feeling a bit better since Monday. Not better enough to feel worried though, still feel horrendous in the evening and can't eat many normal things! And still waking up v frequently. Had only just started getting a full(ish) night sleep too after DD finally started sleeping at a year.

BB01 · 24/09/2014 11:54

It's starting to get really saw breastfeeding DD on one side now. She's pretty much dropped to evening feed only and not convinced she's even that bothered about that which is amazing cos she was a total boob monster til a month or so ago!

BB01 · 24/09/2014 11:54

sore not saw

BB01 · 24/09/2014 11:55

Sorry for multiple posts! Am desperate to know if there's anyone here from the July 2014 ante natal thread?!!
