Sunshinesaz86 · 23/09/2014 19:07

Hi ladies. Looks like everyone's suffering in some way whether it's sickness, bloating, insomnia, period to poo pains! I hope it all eases up as we get past this first trimester!

Space I've been getting awful stomach pains too especially at night, went for a scan yesterday and thankfully all was ok and saw heartbeat!! Grin if it helps, they did say a lot of woman get them it's all the stetching and bowel changes, hopefully it'll ease for you soon. But if it gets too much definitely go to your GP.

Welcome to everyone just joined, daisy don't be shy, everyone can say anything on here and no one minds! Grin

Kitty is DP's arm finally free??

Spaceboundeminem · 23/09/2014 19:24

Thanks sunshine I bet it was great seeing your little bean!

Mslad · 23/09/2014 19:24

Space at least it sounds like it's not uterus related? I'd take comfort from that

Sunshinesaz86 · 23/09/2014 19:33

It was space really put my mind at rest thankfully. DP was amazed too which was sweet. I know it's easier said than done but try not to worry too much if u can.

Spaceboundeminem · 23/09/2014 19:44

I'm sad because no one is happy about my pg. I know I had a cool and it was a accident but I feel protective of my jelly bean.

Both my mum and dh have been really negative. As its a fourth dc I know no one will be happy for me.

Justyouwaitandsee · 23/09/2014 19:47

Aww no, so sorry space - we'll be happy for you! You and your little bean will be well looked after here FlowersCakeFlowers

Spaceboundeminem · 23/09/2014 20:01

Thank you so much. That made me cry stupid hormones Grin

fififolle · 23/09/2014 20:09

Congrats to the newbies...you can tell that the weather was bad in August!! Grin
Space it's a magical thing and obviously meant to be. Try to block out the negativity, as Justyouwaitandsee said! you've got loads of support here x
Fantastic news on the scan Sunshine did you cry?

jazzyjenbo · 23/09/2014 20:09

Ohh space, don't let other ppls negativity bring you down, we are all hear celebrating our little beans together. This is the perfect place to get the support that is sumtimes lacking in real life... I know i couldnt of faced the ttc journey without the 'buses' and now look forward to the prospect of a pregnancy with AN thread a click away x x x

aberjen · 23/09/2014 20:11

Cheerful I'm JH Smile

Mslad That link was fab, and spookily accurate Grin

noroom Thanks. Felt a lot better this afternoon as managed to way a decent lunch. But then was sat looking at my dinner thinking there's no way I could eat it, felt so sick, so DP said to give the tablets ago, and feeling much better now, hurrah! Just feel a bit guilty, which I know is really silly, but feel like I just got on with it with DD but am taking the easy option with DC2. However, if I means I can eat I'm sure I'll get over it Grin

LinaDee · 23/09/2014 20:12

I came on to post asking about stomach pains but I can see lots of people already have today.

TMI but in having terrible wind pains every time I eat and eating is the only thing that makes me feel a bit better.

A horrible vicious circle, but strangely reassuring that I'm not the only one!

aberjen · 23/09/2014 20:12

Eat, not way!

aberjen · 23/09/2014 20:16

X-post Space that's so sad, why do ppl think it's appropriate to be negative and unsupportive about something do special and emotive. We're all thrilled for you! Flowers

Spaceboundeminem · 23/09/2014 20:23

Thanks all the negativity comes because I have bipolar 1 and I am likely to go into a episode within 24 hours of giving birth. Either manic or depressed. So people think that I've bitten off more than I can chew. But as far as I am concerned it's meant to be and I will deal I don't have a choice. My family's support would make it easier I guess as when I am ill DH and my mum have to help out a lot they feel the need to comment.

Sunshinesaz86 · 23/09/2014 20:24

Sorry that you've not got much support space. As long as the baby will be loved surely that's the important thing.

Fififolle it was great, I felt v emotional but didn't cry. Did I read u also had an early scan too and u got a bit teary, it is fab to see a healthy bean. Grin

Lina I've gone from constant AF pains to windy pains overnight and feel uncomfortable like a lot of the other ladies. Stomach feels sluggish everytime I eat, however it is encouraging me to eat healthier foods which isn't a bad thing I guess.

KittyVonCatsington · 23/09/2014 20:26

Sunshine -it's free! He hugged me this evening and it was nice to feel his arms and notthe plaster cast Grin I showed DH your post and told him he was famous!

Oh Space What awful circumstances. Well WE are all happy for you and wish the best for little jelly bean Smile

Mslad · 23/09/2014 20:27

space everyone here is happy for you & your little bean, & I'm sure your people in RL will be soon xx

Lina my wind pains have been unreal, I never knew some trapped wind could cause such pain!

Justyouwaitandsee · 23/09/2014 20:27

Aww! I didn't mean it to! But I know what you mean about hormones! I cried watching you've been framed the other night!

Spaceboundeminem · 23/09/2014 20:33

Thanks all it really means a lot!

fififolle · 23/09/2014 20:37

Sunshine I did have an early scan as I was too impatient to wait until 12 weeks, it was a fantastic sight to see a tiny fluttering heart beat and, yes, my eyes did fill up.
I've definitely become more emotional, I didn't cry on my sons first morning but did feel my eyes filling up at the sight of so many excited little people in their new uniforms!

Sunshinesaz86 · 23/09/2014 21:04

Ahh that's so nice kitty! Now he can wait on u hand and foot for the next 7 months!! Grin

Fififolle to be honest I'm not usually a very emotional person but I think I'm melting the older Im getting and I admit I have started to get soppy over babies the last 12 months or so, I've got 6 nieces and nephews and never got like that with any of them so it's obviously the right time. Bet it's so cute when they start school all grown up in their uniforms! Smile

For those who need an excuse I am planning on saying that I'm doing this in October www.gosober.org.uk

I will then make a hefty donation to Macmillan for using them for my own reasons. Seems fair!!

LinaDee · 23/09/2014 22:44

Tori - try not to worry. I read somewhere that the strength of the line can be to do with the amount of dye in the ic. It sounds like you are having positive pg symptoms.
If you are still feeling uneasy - can you self refer to an EPAU?
I feel exactly the same - like I'll be pregnant forever!

GinIsCalling · 24/09/2014 03:18

Hello again all. I am glad to say my nausea has eased up somewhat - not I just feel sick, I'm not being sick. I immediately then started feeling worried something bad had happened - it seems there is always something to worry about. But overall it feels good having this lovely little secret inside me.
Space I hope that you are ok, I am sure your mum and hubby are just in shock!
