Keeper that's awful! Can't get my head around people doing things like that. I hope you get everything sorted soon and don't have too much trouble with the insurance company. Glad you had a good weekend though!

MooMaid · 16/09/2014 12:47

Hi all, anyone else got a stinking cold? I'm just not used to not being able to take anything to help and I've got stuff to do this week so can't be faffing about feeling ill. Just just got over the MS..... and straight into a cold Sad

theonewiththenoisychild · 16/09/2014 13:23

fishfinger and zebra dd was 2 and half years old when ds was born. we brought a pram for ds and a double buggy just incase. we got dd out of her buggy whilst i was pregnant as much as we could and didnt use the double buggy. but i wish i had brought a buggy board as i do walk a lot. would have made things much easier

ZebraZeebra · 16/09/2014 13:24

keeper that's awful - your poor tenants! Can they involve the police? That must have been terrifying for them!

In a really bad stinking mood. The whole world can fuck off. Including the sun, which I'm completely sick of.

coastergirl · 16/09/2014 13:36

Zebra I'm with you in the stinking mood. The whole world can indeed fuck off, especially people who park across my driveway, the cats who pulled the carpet up while trying to get in the bedroom, waking me up in the process when I tried to get a bit of sleep after being awake all night, people who don't text back, and people who post stupid shite on facebook.

And breathe.

fishfingerSarnies · 16/09/2014 13:53

Thanks people who have replied about my double buggy dilemma. I do encourage my dd to walk as much as possible but I'm a fast walker and very impatient with her, poor kid, I'm just going to have to slow down. (guessing a massive bump followed by a c-section will do that for me anyway) Think I'm going to attempt no double buggy and sling which was my original plan.
I think I just like the idea of something to shop for!
What a load of shit for you keeper hope all is resolved soon.
My dh would be so upset if he lost his wedding ring as it has his dead dad's wedding ring inside it. He was really put out one day when I said I wouldn't care if I lost mine as it's got nothing sentimental about it! Ha

Sunshine4444 · 16/09/2014 15:37

I had my midwife appointment today for 16 weeks which was nice although super quick and was out within 10 mins! Didn't know what to expect but did get to hear the heartbeat which was lovely

ZebraZeebra · 16/09/2014 15:39

coaster consider yourself in training for sleep deprivation Wink I am in a stinking mood because I got maybe...three hours sleep last night. Pregnancy insomnia saw me awake until past one, then DS woke approximately 8 times. No particular reason and thankfully quite rare these days, but nevertheless...8 times. Then decided he was up for the day at 6. I took him to a playgroup and then muttered quietly to myself about how we ARE NOT friends right now, and went and sat on a sofa in a daze.

Buggy wise - haven't really been encouraging him to walk that much as he climbs and scrambles and runs about in the playground for about four hours but I just figure...I had him in the sling for the first three months at least. So baby is born in March, keep them in the sling until June maybe at which point DS will be 2 years 7 months...really feel like that's just too late to get a double buggy. We'd get so little use out of it. I figure they can swap once we get to the playground - DS gets out, baby goes in for a few hours, we go home and I sling baby with DS in the buggy. I can do that for several months.

M27J5M · 16/09/2014 16:44

Took me a while to catch up on here lol! I'm with you moo, terrible cold totally flooring me, not the most ideal when your trying to pack up a house :/

I'm with you ladies in stinking moods too, I haven't been able to shake my mood for days now, my poor bf is getting the brunt of it! Been to docs for what I thought was just a wee touch of sciatica but no turns out I have spd and can expect this pain for the next 26 weeks :/ getting referred for physio and then take it from there!

kettlepot · 16/09/2014 17:47

Blimey keeper that's awful. It makes me so disappointed in humanity that there are people like that in the world.

On a (selfishly) more positive note, scan pic from today below... Took ages to get a good one. A very misbehaving wriggler.

MooMaid · 16/09/2014 18:06

Ahh kettle lovely picture

M27 I totally sympathise with you!!

ZebraZeebra · 16/09/2014 19:08

M27J5M poor you, SPD is horrid :( Glad they've spotted it early though. Hopefully will save you weeks of pain without knowing what it is or what to do.

M27J5M · 16/09/2014 19:52

Yeah I'm really glad they caught it early on but she said it doesn't normally make an appearance till later so hopefully starting physio now will stop it getting as bad when I'm bigger

Rainbow555 · 16/09/2014 19:58

My dh lost his ring a month after the wedding! He was rafting and it came off when he got tipped out the boat! I was devastated but claimed on insurance and got the same one.

My bloods came back 1:15,000 for downs so low risk and 1:100,000 for the other chromosomal ones they check. So all good there.

Just wish the ms would do a running jump!

I am flying to the uk next week and whilst I am trying to stay positive I am starting to worry about how I will cope, it is an evil trip at the best of times, let alone when I need to eat so ofte, get bad ingidgestion and heart burn and retch/be sick after waking or when hungry! Fx it miraculously picks up in the next week!

Rainbow555 · 16/09/2014 19:59

Oh and great pic kettle :)

littlemissy12345 · 16/09/2014 20:17

Just a quickie - I need to catch up! Had my 12 week scan today, moved my dates to the 25th (I'm tall so probably just another long baby!). But the big thing is the relief I feel after 2 mc.

lotsoftoast · 16/09/2014 20:34

Lovely scan pictures everyone!

I'm another one flying by the seat of my pants and not getting a double buggy.....I'm going to wing it with a sling and see how that goes!

mj27 huge sympathies on the spd, had it from 26 weeks last time, but have been feeling signs for a fewweeks already myself, bloody painful already though bot constant thank god. Will ask midwife on Fri for physio referral.
Hope you get a quick appointment
Lovely scan pics. Just under 4 weeks til my 20 week scan, can't wait.

MyPandaisasecretmonster · 16/09/2014 21:09

Glad everyone's scan has gone well Smile

Only another week until mine Envy

is anybody else struggling with lack of appetite ?
I'm only managing a few mouthfuls before I feel absolutely stuffed Confused

coastergirl · 16/09/2014 22:22

Scan tomorrow morning. Nervous!

Pinksun12 · 17/09/2014 02:51

Lovely scan pictures everyone! Mine is totally blurry, even the 4d one. (My doc switched to 4d - is it actually called that btw? Or 3d? But you know what I mean! - and that was amazing! Never had one before!)

M27 huge sympathies on the spd and I hope you'll get your physio appointment soon to keep it in check.

Good luck with your scan coastergirl

I'm awake again and starving! How bad would it be if I got up and get some Nutella on toast?! I finally told my team leader at work who thought it was hilarious and is just sad that they will have to get someone new again soon since i get on so well with everybody. Tomorrow I need to tell the big boss which will be awkward at best and totally unpredictable but at least I've got my team behind me.

lotsoftoast · 17/09/2014 06:12

I wish I was panda - all I seem to do is eat, eat, eat!

Good luck to those with scans today!

Good luck to those with scans today. Is that almost all of us had our scans? I told the children at school yesterday - as I thought, some of the girls had guessed from my expanding tummy and one had asked the teaching assistant who denied all knowledge! They are lovely children though, and were all very happy about my news. Now I just need the sickness to go and I can hopefully begin to enjoy this pregnancy!

DurhamRed · 17/09/2014 07:18

Morning all, unfortunately my sickness became a lot worse over the last 2 days and i was admitted to hospital again last night (3rd time). Now have more fluids running and hopefully dr's will review my meds this morning.

Hope everyone who has scans today all goes well for you and for everyone who is still feeling poorly (i feel for you) I hope it passes for you soon.

theonewiththenoisychild · 17/09/2014 07:22
