mariomadmum · 14/09/2014 09:01

I should preview befor posting. heart palpitations not gear!

PickledPorcupine · 14/09/2014 10:03

Not surprised it's freaking you out mario!

tannyLoo · 14/09/2014 10:15

Mark I get them too, and yes, it's very common. If you're feeling anxious as well, this can make them worse. Try sitting quietly for a few minutes and breathing deeply and evenly. It should help.

tannyLoo · 14/09/2014 10:29

Not Mark! Bloody autocorrect! Mario !

Twittwooo · 14/09/2014 11:05

Ooh toast - it's an exciting time! Which way is he worried about it going? I'm really interested in the divide of opinions!

NotAQueef · 14/09/2014 11:45

wondering if I win the baby brain prize. on the way to Liverpool street on the train. just realised my ticket only goes to Stratford. This is the fast train so doesn't stop at StratfordShock the ticket inspector didn't seem to notice but now not sure what to do. Do I hope the barriers are up or confess my foolishness?

coastergirl · 14/09/2014 12:22

I'm afraid I don't have any advice re your ticket, but I have my own babybrain confession. Last night I got halfway up the stairs to bed clutching the Sky TV remote instead of my phone! Blush

M27J5M · 14/09/2014 12:44

Glad to hear I'm not the only 1 with baby brain! Not done anything in particular, just lotsa stupid wee things lol

lotsoftoast · 14/09/2014 12:56

twitt he's a no voter - he's terrified that it's going to a be win for the yes campaign. Only time will tell!

20% off JoJo Maman for winter maternity coats until the 25th September. I had even thought that my lovely winter jacket won't fit over my growing bump!

TakeMeUpTheNorthMountain · 14/09/2014 15:34

Getting intermittent sharp/stabbing pains, round my lower belly, just above my groin. Internet says round ligament pain. Anyone experienced this?

teaandbiscuitsforme · 14/09/2014 15:35

Hi, glad to hear people are starting to feel a bit better! I managed a wedding without being sick this weekend! Had my scan on Friday and was put forward a couple of days so now due on the 20th. And I went for a quick look at prams even though I promised myself I wouldn't in case it tempted fate!! Anybody actually managing to avoid looking at baby things?

MGFM · 14/09/2014 16:08

take I have had that. I have it more when I move suddenly which is completely normal.

NotAQueef · 14/09/2014 16:42

yes take like mgfm it's more when I move suddenly. keep getting twinges.
managed to a avoid having to confess as the guard was just ushering everyone through
had a lovely afternoon catching up with my big sis lunch at Shoreditch House followed by a harmonica lesson which I am sure the baby liked as could feel lots of strong flutters during the sessionSmile

MyPandaisasecretmonster · 14/09/2014 17:25

I'm still feeling groggy everyday and have had 2 migraines in the past fortnight (i usually get about one a year ) the sickness has stopped though so that's one good thing .

I have zero appetite and can only manage very small meals as I constantly feel full , Also I seem to have a heightened sense of taste if anything has additives or flavour enhancers etc it's all I can taste so I'm quite limited to what I'm eating as well.

I darent look at baby stuff or even consider anything atm as not got my scan til a week on Tuesday , I just hope to god this week doesn't drag as it's been long enough .

PickledPorcupine · 14/09/2014 18:06

I've had the stomach pains too. And I've also managed a wedding this weekend, great weather for it.

My ms is definitely on the way out at 14 and a bit weeks so there's light at the end of the tunnel for any of you who still have it.

Lizardc · 14/09/2014 19:22

Just found the new thread, yay!

Will as myself to the stats list, but Lizardc dc3 EDD 11/3/15.

Also got a consultant appt in a few week's time. Ds1 emergency section, ds2 planned section as they wouldn't induce. Would like to keep an open mind in this one re: VBAC until later on, but will see what the consultant says...

JustNicked, if you are still here, fingers totally crossed for your CVS results this week..

Twittwooo · 14/09/2014 19:58

That gives me hope porcupine! Still feeling groggy and unable to do much but hoping it will go by 14 weeks - I'm counting the days!

m33r · 14/09/2014 20:39

I'm 13+3 and though nausea is still around, it is definitely getting better. Hoping when I hit 14weeks it will be a distant memory. My DH has been heroic through the sickness and exhaustion!

DurhamRed · 14/09/2014 21:03

I am seriously hoping that the sickness will ease off by week 14. Like you m33r I am 13+3 weeks but for me there seems to be little or no let up so far (have good and bad days with meds but was sick again today). I am preying that hg will ease soon...I'm just so exhausted!

My oh has been absolutely amazing, I just feel for him as I know he really worries about me, especially when I'm so bad I end up in hospital.

Twittwooo · 14/09/2014 21:52

Another one here with an amazing DH, but I do worry that he doesn't realise how bad I feel. I've been sick almost every day and when I'm not being sick I'm feeling really nauseous and headachey. It's so hard to find the energy for anything and usually I'm a 'soldier on' type! Being sick on the street was my lowest moment! Has anyone found anything at all that helps?

M27J5M · 15/09/2014 07:18

Sorry to hear some of you are stil feeling yucky :( hope it passes for you all soon

Not a great start to the day for me, although I have a day off work so that's helping a lot! Was sick as soon as I got out of bed, with nothing in my stomach so it was horrible and there was (sorry if TMI) some blood in it I think. Not lots, just streaks I suppose. I'm not worrying too much but just wanted to check to see what you all think? Feeling rough, and had planned to get lots done today! How is everyone else?
