Yes porcupine! I've had a tough time this week, really tired and struggling to be a patient, enthusiastic teacher! I was hoping by now that it would have subsided - maybe soon! What age do you teach?

Hey guys, for those of you not on fb I'm now an April mummy but I'm going to two time you all! I prefer you lot anyway.
So im now DC#1 EDD 24/04/15

Was given anti sickness pills and they seem to be working for now, I managed a whole shift and managed to almost finish two real meals today. So proud. Felt like I'd been shot in both tits when I took my bra off though!! :'(

kitten April babies are the best. I should know If your bean is a day early we will share a birthday!

My scan went well and I'm a bit further along than originally though. New EDD 17/03/15 which means I'm 13+3. I'm getting excited now. 20 week scan date is 29th October which doesn't seem far away.

Primary too, porcupine. I'm very lucky and have a small class of lovely children, but this last week has been difficult. Long weekend this weekend which is a blessing, but today I've felt worse than ever! How are you coping?

Ok but I have over 30 year 6s and the marking is slowly killing me off! I cycle to work so never bring marking home but I'm struggling to keep on top of it all. I work in a very challenging area and the pressure is on at the moment.

I'm thinking of leaving the profession after maternity. Really fed up of the lack of respect for a bloody hard job. Three separate incidents where a parent has shouted at me this week (one because I lost their child's jumper, one because I didn't give their child their reward when they didn't do their homework and one because they think I shouldn't be expecting the children to read at home!!) Not really sure what else to do though.

Have you got plenty of snacks in your desk? My bag of nuts have saved me a few times this week!

Durham glad you're out. I'm on the same two meds as you but at home thankfully. Still feeling v nauseous and still vomiting in mornings. Heartburn too. Pissed off with the whole thing tbh, almost 14 weeks and thought I might have a little bit of relief before getting big and all the associated crap with the last 2 months.
Sorry. Quite low. Not many nice things in life atm.

Anyone else suffering with pregnancy insomnia? I've had in other pregnancies as well so should be used to it but still annoying. I mostly need a wee and i also wake up starving. I usually wake up at 2ish, and that's it until 5ish and have to get up at 6. If I go to bed early to get some good hours in before (as in 8ish) then I'm guaranteed to wake up, if I go to bed later I might make until 5 but I keep falling asleep on the sofa. Argh!! Thank god I'm at work now (easy desk job) and don't have to run around the kids all day.

Yes pinksun I've been awake for hours. Got lots of travelling to do today with a toddler who hasn't slept well either this week. Oh joy.

Sorry to those still suffering with sickness. Thankfully mine has eased off almost completely now but it certainly takes the shine off being pregnant. I hope it eases sharpish for you all.

DP is so pleased we are having a March baby because it's the Persian new year which is a very special time for him and his family. It's as big for them as Christmas is for us and the only festival we celebrate (along with Christmas of course). We told my family last night and everyone was so pleased, it's lovely being able to get it out in the open.

Pink I've got the insomnia. I fall asleep fine on the couch and then when I try to sleep in bed I'm wide awake! I need to try harder to stop the coach snoozing.

Friday can't come quick enough in this house - I have a v grumpy dh worrying about the indy ref. If he continues like this, he won't live to see the vote so he better snap out of it!
