Lovely news fedup, congratulations! A good weight too. Enjoy your cuddles!

Captainmcgraw · 16/09/2014 08:03

Congratulations Fedup, fantastic morning news!

I just had weirdest dream that the baby's hand was sticking out my body my body just under my ribs (as in actually out a hole in the skin so I could see it's fingers). Woke up to a really jutty out bit of baby incredibly high up where it's never been before. As he's breech I can't work out for the life of me what it is - not a foot.does anyone else ever feel like the baby seems to have too many body parts at times because they're all sticking out in such different places at the same time?!

mum2kiss · 16/09/2014 08:05

Congratulations fedup! That's 2 boys and 2 girls now! Wonder which will take the lead?! I so wish I knew what we were having! Dp desperately wants a boy and I just don't have an inkling either way!

Im off to consultant appointment regarding vbac but since this baby is breech i dont think i have a choice ? Maybe get a date for c/sec as i am going to raise concerns about probably not making it to 39 weeks

Grannyapple · 16/09/2014 08:47

Aw fab news to wake up to fedup-good weight too! Enjoy the newborn snuggles again xx

clops2000 · 16/09/2014 08:58

Fantastic news fedup, so pleased for you!
Badger I too am plagued by the horrid carpal tunnel. As you said its got worse over the weeks and now the numb fingers last through the day, though the pain is always at night. generally get an hour or so sleep at a time now :( Can't remember the last time I went through the night with less than 5 wake ups!
Haven't really worked out what helps tbh, running cold water over them when I get up in night soothes them enough to settle back down, trying to position them straight sometimes helps but not always, napping in the day works best! Hubs sometimes massages them which can help if they're not overly puffy...it can hurt more if they are :(
I'm just hoping it improves when baby arrives, as I struggle to hold a phone/ pen etc without them falling asleep now I worry that holding/ feeding baby will do the same and that really wont help in the first few weeks.
Sorry for whingy post!

pinkfizzsparkles · 16/09/2014 08:58

captain I had a Wierd dream last night that baby's foot was hanging it my fanjo! It was really uncomfortable in my dream but it woke me up too. I was having those excruciating 'fanny daggers' like I was being stabbed in the cervix and I started to panic that a part of it's body was trying to escape! It feels do low today and my constipation has returned with vengeance. I'm quite miserable now, I don't think I can do this for potentially another 3 weeks!

kirstie I had a growth scan last week as my bump measurement had stayed static for 2 weeks. It was a different midwife measuring compared to the same one I'd had all the way through. The scan was great and estimated the weight right in the middle of my growth chart (which is based on my previous 2 children's birth weights), it was spot on with my normal midwife's measurements too. I would mention you don't want to know the sex though as at this stage if they scan the genital area it is hard to miss. I had a sweep with my DS and went into labour the next day (40 weeks) it may have been a coincidence I'll never know. I'll be asking for one next week, I really want this baby out Smile

sazzlehopes · 16/09/2014 09:06

Hooray caught up on the thread. Massive congrats to slide and fedup so pleased your babies are safe with you. Look forward to seeing photos and hearing names.

bugs not mad at all! especially with your journey! I think it's great that nothing has put you off!

yellow and anyone else with mucus plug experience!!! I don't remember losing mine first time round but I definitely lost most of it this morning. I'm 38+3, 2nd pregnancy and baby is 4/5ths engaged.... Obviously no contractions or anything like that yet, but could it be soon? Do I need to come out of denial and actually pack my hospital bag?!! Or could it still be a week or more before baby arrives?

robindeer · 16/09/2014 09:10

So hard to keep up! Congratulations on all the new arrivals, if someone is updating the list with fedup's little one could I be added please? Can't seem to do it on the mobile.

Robindeer DC1 (unknown) EDD 26th Oct

Thanks! Lovely lie in this morning ahead of 34wk check, I've told my boss I'll work to 38wks, starting to doubt that!

Pregnantagain7 · 16/09/2014 09:13

Woo hoo congratulations to fedup what lovely news and what a good size!

sazzle I think that maybe that would make me think about packing a bag and I'm in serious denial! I've never lost any plug or had any braxton hicks or anything I feel a bit cheated! I want mucus and pain Grin

ExcitedCJ · 16/09/2014 09:14

Congrats Fed up, great news. :)

sazzlehopes · 16/09/2014 09:15

Pregnant no BH this time or last time...and last time I don't remember losing the plug, labour just seem to start... I almost wish I'd not seen it, then I wouldn't be thinking a million things! I'd just be carrying on with my day like normal!!
