MrsB Totally feeling you, I have the exact same stuff going on - hip pain, acid reflux and I'm a fidget pants. Time to get the house ready, my cousin is down from the midlands and I have a wee suspicion that there may be plots for some sort of baby shower. DP is off out tomorrow afternoon, which is unusual for him as he mainly only goes out to the pub in the evening...

...this means I need to clean and tidy which takes me ions at the moment.

So I've got a bit of time so thought I'd jazz up our list. Never usually have the laptop so making the most of it.

Thanks bump, but scary to see yourself on that list though now its seperated into weeks, going to be here in no time!
Thanks also mrs for re-posting the recipe, it actually looks dead easy, can't wait to try it...has anyone tried freezing the dough yet? be a great solution for visitors (and make us all look like supermums without much effort! without this I think they'd be getting a broken custard cream... if they're lucky!)

Jeez it's scary being near the top!

clops I did and did a test bake the other night. I tried turning the oven down but they took about 30 mins to bake and were v Brown on the outside and a bit too doughy in the middle. This time I've flattened the dough a bit so will hopefully bake evenly. I also did a batch with fudge chunks in this time... mmm .

First day of mat leave today, it still hasn't sunk in. DD was extremely kind and stayed in bed until 9am after a busy night of eczema scratching, so I was treated to a final lie in before she starts at school on Monday.

My spa day went well, although piece of advice- don't leave it 2 months before having a wax hope childbirth isn't that painful

Munday I'm having a Brazilian on Tuesday in prep for section on Thursday, although it's only been 6 weeks since my last wax, so hopefully not too painful. I would highly recommend any C section Mummy's to get a really good wax as it saves the shaving and itchy grow back after surgery. I had EMCS last time but had prepped area as was conscious my fango looked like the man from Borneo & they were getting me ready for surgery announced they would need to shave me then took a look & said "oh no we won't, it's all lovely & neat down there!" One of my proudest moments!! :)

slide squeee!! How exciting, I'm sure you're nervous but don't be inductions can be great as I said before my two were great and I would happily have another one with this baby if it was necessary. Good luck!!

I went to triage this morning as baby had been really quite yesterday and hadn't had any movements this morning. Everything fine it started wiggling around almost as soon as jwas hooked up to the monitor! Cheeky monkey but better safe than sorry.

As I was walking up to the door two midwives came running out followed by a third with a wheelchair seconds later a man screeched to halt next to me jumped out flung the passenger door open where his poor wife/partner was lay screaming, naked from the waist down, shouting I feel the head it's right there she was hysterical ( as you would be!) I felt so sorry for her it was half nine in the morn with loads of people around! I AM going to pack my bag this weekend!!

Oh meant to say midwife who examined me thought the baby was breach it's always been head down am hoping it's not done a cheeky flip! I doubt it though but have another growth scan a week on Monday so we will see :)
