Awwww hun, take good care of yourself xxx

My nan passed away 2 years ago this Xmas and her name was Shirley. I think Dh is so greatful we are having a boy so that I don't suggest using her name

Thanks magnolia.
Shirley always reminds me of Airplane with whatsisname ("Surely there's something you can do?" "No, and don't call me Shirley!").

2happy-I think you should star a new thread for us, I'm sure the others won't mind. Go for it. I wanna see you thread title!

I walked to my mw appt today and back again and now I cant walk, get up, hold DS or do pretty much anything. My pelvis feels like it might split in two at the front whenever I move. Totally over did it walking for 1hr 3/4 and the stupid thing is I could have rung my brother to get a lift but I thought that I would try to be all independent and that a good walk would be good for me, DS and the baby. Just hoping that it is better tom as not really sure how I will lift DS if it is not.

mw said they need another sample from me cos I might have a urinary infection (dont feel anything at all but guess the wee stick is god!!). So got to get a sample there before 11 tom. It is really getting to be a pain not having a car.

Sorry for the moan.

2happy def new thread needed. Go ahead and knock yourself out on the title!

Jess. I got my quinny buggy and all the extras from John Lewis last time and I ordered them 10 weeks before my due date. I didnt get them til a week before, and only then because I rang after 6 weeks to check when they would be delivering them as we were going away and they said there was a problem and they wouldnt be delivered til 1 month after my due date! (nobody had bothered to ring me though! After much ranting and crying on the phone they managed to get it the week before my due date! Def get ordering!!

By the way ellie - my due date is actually the 11th- sorry.

OonaghBhuna · 31/10/2006 21:39

Hello! I am new to mumsnet a good friend of mine told me about it recently. I am so glad I have discovered it for my final 10 weeks.....I am due on the 3rd Jan, this is my second baby my DD was born in MAy 2005 by c/s and last week was told that it is highly unlikely that I will give birth naturally!!! Anyway I am huge and very uncomfortable and not getting much sleep. I noticed that people were talking about buggies etc, I would highly recommend the mountain buggy (its model from a New Zealand) , I have one for DD and they are great.
