Can anyone give me some reassurance? I'm nearly 6 weeks pregnant but having no symptoms. At first I felt more tired than usual and I had one day where I felt sick, but now I feel no different at all. No sore or growing boobs, no peeing more regularly, no more tired than usual...I'm really worried that something is wrong but they won't do a scan until 8-9 weeks. Does anyone else have no symptoms?

BananaToast · 29/08/2014 09:33

Thinking of you at your scan phryn

Firsttimer I'm 5+5 and have v few symtoms. Like you I've had one day this week where I felt a bit sick, and from yesterday my nipples have been sore, but otherwise I feel fairly normal most of the time.

LadyNovember · 29/08/2014 09:46

I'm 7+1 and ms has only just arrived in the last couple of days for me so there's still time you two ;)

In the last week I've had a definite increase in exhaustion, constipation, bloating, ms etc.

Don't get too comfortable ;-) x

dancestomyowntune · 29/08/2014 09:52

i am ridiculously uncomfortable at 7+4 weeks Sad i haven't actually been sick but feel really ropey. Sad

OneDayLikeThis2013 · 29/08/2014 09:52

Thinking of you today phryn

5+6 here today and not alot in the way of symptoms either. A wave of nausea yesterday evening and a few stabby pains in the bb's but not a lot else. Trying to be rationale as I got to 10 weeks with my MMC and was really sicky from 5 weeks right through to 10 weeks and it didn't mean anything as been had stopped growing. Now with no sickness I'm trying to convince myself that md doesn't actually mean everything is okay.

OneDayLikeThis2013 · 29/08/2014 09:53

oops *ms not md!

littleluna89 · 29/08/2014 09:56

phryn I am desperately hoping you are pleasantly suprised at your scan today! my everything is crossed for you!

Norwich ladies: have you had your booking in appointments yet? And if so were you booked in for your scan at your appointment and what sort of wait did you have? My appointment was yesterday but I was given the wrong time when I booked it over the phone so missed it, now I'm having to wait until 16th when I'll be 11 weeks and I'm really worried that my first scan is going to be late :/

Cookiepants87 · 29/08/2014 09:57

Morning all! Sorry of this is tmi but was wondering if any of you ladies have had 'light creamy brown' cm during your first few weeks? Is this classes as spotting!? DH and I were intimate last night so in hoping that's the cause, nothing else so cars from this morning but am panicking slightly lol! Also my nipples are still sore, my stomach is unsettled but not proper ms yet and frequent urination has hit! I am going to invest in some sickness bands to see if that helps the unsettled tummy Hmm! Xxx

BananaToast · 29/08/2014 09:59

Yes Cookie that's what most of my spotting has been like. I've had the odd day of darker brown cm but it's mainly very light brown tinged. Think it's quite common after sex so I wouldn't worry.

Siarie · 29/08/2014 10:03

Yeah Cookie I had that, just for one day and I was quite pleased to see it go away. I've got some sickness bands and they do seem to help actually (as long as you put them in the right place).

I'm ready for my holiday tomorrow, cats are being shipped off this morning then it's full steam ahead for cleaning the whole apartment and packing.

Hopefully MS won't make me too bad next week, I've got my bands and some tablets just in case but going to try my best not to use the tablets as I don't know how safe they really are (cycline or something like that, cyclzine).

Minstrelle · 29/08/2014 10:08

Sorry to hear of those who are off the bus. Very sad.

All going ok here. 7+1 and bloomin' sickof MS. They should just call it S. It doesn't go away after midday. Went out for a run this morning, just a gentle one, to clear my head. Had to stop after 20 mins and heaved the whole way home. Then had to get in the bath and am now at work feeling very sorry for myself - I daren't read the HG thread or any thread that says that the MS continued throughout their pregnancy. I don't think I'd be able to cope with that. So debilitating.

Sorry for the moaning!!

HippoPottyMouth · 29/08/2014 10:20

Cookie, yes I had that on Monday in fact (6+4). It started in the night when I went for a wee and I had horrible dreams after that. Had some cramps that morning too, but then it all stopped by the afternoon. Nothing since. I like to think it was the blob bedding in a bit and getting settled. If you think about the things that are happening right now, placenta forming, things embedding in your insides, it's not really surprising to get the odd bit of blood.
That's not to say I didn't shit myself at the time of course Wink

dancestomyowntune · 29/08/2014 10:30

thinking of Phryn this morning and hoping she has got someone with her at her scan. praying she is pleasantly surprised too.

wawabear · 29/08/2014 10:36

Hi

My EDD is 19th April. Currently 5 weeks gone. Planned baby but we never expected it to happen so fast, we thought it would take a little while as I am 34 and never had regular periods. However first time of trying and we hit the jackpot!

How old is your other half?
My DH is 39.

How long have you been together?
Together for 7.5 years and married for 1 year (it's our anniversary tomorrow).

Where do you live?
Manchester.

Phryn · 29/08/2014 10:56

Dear lovely ladies,

Went to my scan and it was confirmed that I've miscarried. My body has done the job itself so I don't need any medical intervention to get everything out so I'm thankful for that small mercy. My heart hurts so much - but I have faith that I will conceive again and get all the way through to the actual having a baby bit which feels so far away right now.

I wish each of you all the luck in the world. Thank you for your support and concern - it's meant a hell of a lot. You're a lovely bunch and I'm so sad I won't be travelling the rest of this journey with you. I really hope and pray for safe pregnancies for all of you, and that the morning sickness fades soon!

Hopefully it won't be too long before I reappear with a BFP - I'll drop in and say hi when I do.

Much love. Thanks

BananaToast · 29/08/2014 11:00

Oh phryn I'm so so sorry. I can't even begin to imagine what you must be feeling. Take care of yourself, wishing you all the luck in the world for the future Thanks

wawabear · 29/08/2014 11:04

I'm so sorry Phryn. Sending you lots and lots of love xxx

HippoPottyMouth · 29/08/2014 11:08

So very sad for you Phryn. Best wishes for an easier ride next time.

Wawabear, hello! If you are 19th April you must be more than 5 weeks? I guess it is tricky to figure out if you do not have regular cycles though. Happy anniversary for tomorrow!

BrixtonBunny · 29/08/2014 11:09

Oh Phryn, that's so awful. Sending lots of love and hugs, take care of yourself and please do pop back and let us know how you are xxx ThanksThanksThanks

CatRen27 · 29/08/2014 11:09

Oh Phryn I'm so, so sorry for you. Take the time you need to grieve and surround yourself with support. I hope when you start trying again it happens easily and everything goes well - we're all rooting for you Flowers x
