Oh no phryn I'm so sorry. Will keep my fingers tightly crossed it's not all bad news tomorrow. Take care

Cassieyellow · 28/08/2014 19:22

Hi everyone. Wow what a catch up of quite a few pages. Feeling emotional about mud, Leo and the awful situation you are in phryn. This pregnancy malarkey is SO hard. Hugs to absolutely everyone on here.

I had my my booking in appointment this week and the midwife was a little patronising and I was a bit deflated afterwards. She also said I should have waited a little longer before getting pregnant due to c section last time. I felt like a naughty school girl, (and I am a bloody teacher! ). My dd is 10 months old. Oh well. I am still awaiting scan date. I am 8 +4 at the mo.

BonjourMinou · 28/08/2014 19:31

So sorry to hear your news, leo and phryn Take care of yourselves and hope you get another BFP very soon.

Cassie I haven't had my booking in appointment yet as I am only 6+3 but DD is 10 months old following a c-section too, so I'll let you know what my midwife says! Hopefully she'll be nicer, sorry yours was so narky. It's your decision when to get pregnant. Flowers

BitchPeas · 28/08/2014 19:39

Don't worry cassie, my cousin has had 4 sections in the space of 5 years. Shock she got told off every time as well Grin but everything has always been fine!

So sorry to ladies with bad news :( Wishing you lots of support in RL and a new bus soon.

Wineandchoccy · 28/08/2014 19:49

I'm so sorry leo and phyrn take care of yourselves.

CareBearWithFangs · 28/08/2014 20:01

I'm so sorry phryn. It's so so unfair. I really feel for everyone who suffers a loss. Ours really knocked me back for months. Thanks For all of you.

I think I need to her DP something to show how much I appreciate everything he's doing at the moment, from dealing with my constant anxiety to do all the washing up, cooking and cleaning. Any ideas? Preferably something I can set online as don't fancy dragging DD shopping while I'm feeling so crap.

Cassieyellow · 28/08/2014 20:13

Thanks bonjour and bitch. Care bear - biscuiteers are good- fun biscuits you can order online and get delivered. Bit pricy maybe.

Watching location location - can't believe that woman is due in 2 months, I looked waay bigger than that last time!

BonjourMinou · 28/08/2014 20:21

Anyone watch Got to Dance? Can't believe Kimberley is 6 months pregnant, I looked like she does now at 9 weeks! Hmm

HippoPottyMouth · 28/08/2014 20:29

Very very sorry Leo and Phryn
Sad Thanks

OneDayLikeThis2013 · 28/08/2014 20:32

Oh shit, I'm so sorry to hear that phryn and leo

Hoping you have lots of support in rl. I know it won't feel like it but speaking from experience but it really does get easier with time.

Take care of yourselves xx

I'm so sorry Leo, and Phryn I hope you're holding up okay until the scan tomorrow. Best of luck in the time ahead, take time for yourselves and be with the ones you love. Flowers Flowers

CareBearWithFangs · 28/08/2014 21:07

Cassie that's brilliant! I'm going to order some and send it to DP's work, thank you Smile

cinnamongreyhound · 28/08/2014 21:54

Congratulations Rhiannon85 and kismac, can confirm ms stopped at 13wks with ds1 and 16wks with ds2.

Don't worry catRen27, and she's had the hook removed and although she's quiet she's fine we now have a big credit card bill :( thanks for asking.

I had those pulling feelings and cramps around 5 weeks too Sairie.

So sorry leothecentipede, hope things happen sooner rather than later for you so you're not in limbo. Do come back and let us know how you're getting on Thanks

Glad you're having a good holiday BrixtonBunny! I'm with on being back to work.

Hope the dr will be able to help you Carebearwithfangs. Could be anaemia with feeling dizzy? I get lightheaded when I stand up but sitting again and getting up more carefully sorts it.

So so sorry to hear that Phryn :( at least you will have an answer tomorrow and you never know. Glad you've got your dh there with you Thanks thinking of you x

Sorry to hear you didn't have a great first experience cassieyellow! Did anyone tell you after dd that you should wait a while before getting pregnant again? If not then I don't see how you can have known it was the wrong thing to do! I had a horrible midwife visit me the day after I got home with ds1 who really upset me and I wish I'd complained but my regular midwives have always been lovely. I've had the same one with all three pregnancies now with others covering if she was at hospital, home birth or off work.

Was sick again today, totally out of the blue and then fell asleep! Dh left me to sleep for 2hrs which made me feel much better, as we didn't have a great night :(

Siarie · 28/08/2014 22:12

Off in holiday to France for two weeks on Saturday early. Can't wait to go but packing is a nightmare, I'm so bloated I don't know what to pack!

Throwing in lots of leggings and t shirts!

roastpots · 28/08/2014 22:24

I'm so sorry phyrn and leo. I hope you both have a restful night x

carebear and cassie biscuiteers is a great idea - we were sent some just after DD was born and they were lovely.

Rhiannon85 · 28/08/2014 22:39

Thank you cingreyhound, luckily no ms for me yet. I have only told my husband and my best friend about my pregnancy so far, but husband in the navy and is away, so nice to come on here and see you all chatting away! Looking for a nice night time bra as my boobs are killing me! Hope it helps :-s

lucyandpoppy123 · 28/08/2014 23:01

wanders in

My EDD is April 28th :)

So strange as on OH's side of the family his 2 nephews have been born in April and now me and his sister are due in April too! xx

mamabear0315 · 28/08/2014 23:09

Hello :)
So Sorry to hear about the recent losses! xx
Have been suuuper sick since Friday and then ended up in the hospital yesterday with IV for dehydration :( Got to the point where I was sick so much I began throwing up blood :/ sorry if that's TMI. Got some meds for the sickness now..(I had to with DS as well) seem to be helping a bit but still feeling pretty bleh. They booked me in for a scan next friday (sept 5th) so fx that goes well. I am 7+4 today...really hoping this sickness ends soon! really doesnt help when you have a toddler leaning on your back when you throw up lol.

mswibble · 28/08/2014 23:34

Rhiannon - ive just bought a cheapo seamless bra from Primark today as my usual bras were getting uncomfy. Think ive gone from 36DD to an E since getting my BFP. Got a size L and im pretty impressed. Im not sure if I would wear it out and about but if you dying to rip your normal bra off by the time you get home, but need a little support, I think these are pretty good. £2.50

Lavendercandles · 29/08/2014 04:31

mamabear are you princess Kate in disguise?! Grin

Can't sleep tonight as have horrendous migraine and nausea. I'm secretly pleased I'm feeling crap as I hope it's good signs things are happening. Am 6 +2 today and have a scan booked to see if we can see anything at 7+1- nervous already.

cinnamongreyhound · 29/08/2014 07:44

Hi Lucyandpoppy123. Ds1 was due 13th April and my cousins (who's dad is my mums twins) first was due first week of may. They had him 27th by elcs as he was breech and I was induced 25th with ds1 and he was born 27th and they were born within 2hrs of each other, weird!

Sorry to hear you've been so poorly mamabear0315, hope your medication continues to work and sickness disappears soon!

Cassieyellow · 29/08/2014 08:00

Ha ha lavender re princess Kate!! I wonder of there are any celebrities on here too! Don't worry ladies, we understand you need a private outlet!
Cinnamon - no, no one said anything and I knew certainly not to try again too soon ( not that I personally would anyway) but thought 10 months would be ok! It was the usual midwife 's day off so she was a stand in. (Typical!).
