Just Shagging - Thread 11 for Graduated Viroids!

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 11th grads thread...celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed Grin

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 27th outing.

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal here once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a secret facebook group, if you want to join, ask in-thread.

So, roll call below please, viroids! Smile

catsofa · 06/09/2014 23:27

cookielove · 06/09/2014 23:41

Morning viroids! Did anyone else get paranoid at the start that they'd imagined it all? I just poadigis to check. Mr La thinks I'm weird.

We are going to tell family today. I was afraid it is too soon but we wanted someone to share it with.

My cat is a ginger! If I ever meet any of you I'll show you picture of him with his cat food Wink

Did someone mention a Facebook page? Are you all on it?

cookie I'm loving your feet stamping! Yes you technically are next, even if you're already cuddling him Wink got to stick to British queuing etiquette

kato got a positive so should be along here soon!

laurenamium · 07/09/2014 08:36

La I still am paranoid! Grin I'm convinced there'll be nothing there when I go for a scan and ill have to apologise for wasting everyone's time!

I'm on the Facebook page. I think you have to dm cookie your name and she adds you!

DD is sicky today so a cosy house day it is today! Ill sneak off to sort horses when DP gets back later!

Leela5 · 07/09/2014 08:38

I've no idea how you manage with horse, dd and being upduffed! I miss my horse so much but I think having him still would have been too hard just now. I've got 2 jobs and I'm knackered. cookie can you send me link please?

Leela5 · 07/09/2014 08:43

How soon did you tell family? I'm not telling friends til scan but I want to let our family know as they'll be delighted. They are all in Scotland so I was going to phone today. But is 4-5 weeks too early?

splodge77 · 07/09/2014 08:46

Thanks for list. Gah, nausea has appeared with a vengeance. Any good ideas for nice bland snacks? At the mo I'm just eating loads a bananas. Blurgh

Pisghetti · 07/09/2014 08:47

Morning Viroids.

La I completely understand that feeling. Especially as I'd not had proper morning sickness this time around. I was convinced they were not going to find anything at the scan - seeing the little wriggler was the biggest relief! I've also had a recurring dream for years and years that I'm pregnant, quite far along, everyone knows, then I sort of realize I'm not and I don't know how to tell everyone. And you thought insaniTTC was bad - welcome to a new brand of madness!

Awww Cookie! melts

Leela5 · 07/09/2014 08:53

Aww just went to desktop to see photo - he's gorrrrgeous!

Nessalina · 07/09/2014 08:57

There's obviously a cute picture that I can't see on my app! Must look on PC later - app is so silly Confused

Yeah, the paranoia is very normal - didn't someone POAS a couple of weeks ago, even though they're 12 weeks along?! Zyla was it you? Grin
Hell, I'm the size of a beach ball now and I'm still getting paranoid! It helps once you can feel them moving. That is until you get a whack to the bladder for your trouble! Grin

La - I don't think it has to be Cookie for the FB group, you need to PM one of us that's on it with your real name, then we'll search for you, friend request you, then once we're friends we can invite you to the super secret group!

wilmabedrock · 07/09/2014 08:59

Have you put another picture up cookie? I'm going to have to go on the mobile site for a look.

You have to send Cookie a private message with your real life name and stuff Lala. I think some of us are on it and some aren't (clearly I'm not by that informative answer). And I still feel paranoid even though I can feel the baby moving! Didn't feel like this first pg. Don't think I've quite accepted there will be a baby at the end of all this. Are you annoyed not to be getting a referendum vote Lala, or are you quite relieved?

As for telling family I think you just do it whenever you want. We didn't but if you think you would want their support etc if things went wrong then really there's no harm in telling them. My mum isn't great in a drama and I prefer it generally to keep her in the dark about things Grin .

MiniWil is currently hanging Peppa Pig from her doll's house with a rope around her neck. Should I be concerned? Confused

Pisghetti · 07/09/2014 08:59

Gah! Just lost an essay. Ah well - it's a personal choice La. I didn't tell many people before the scan and mostly my decisions on who to tell were based on who I needed on side to keep the secret. Now I've had the scan I'm telling anyone who will stand still long enough to listen!

Pisghetti · 07/09/2014 09:02

Has she said why she's hanging Peppa Pig Grin

Leela5 · 07/09/2014 09:09

Did Peppa deserve it?

Leela5 · 07/09/2014 09:13

wil I am annoyed yes because we own property there and only moved away temporarily for work (no jobs there at the time, better opportunity came up down south), intending to move back. I have friends who I live deadly but they are kiwi and live in Edinburgh and get to vote. They don't intend to stay but get to say what happens to my country's future, which will affect my kids. I don't think that's right Hmm

I'm sad for a really silly reason also - I always wanted my kids born in Scotland but it's probably not going to happen with this one. I just hope she or he gets same opportunities in Scotland regardless

Leela5 · 07/09/2014 09:14

*love dearly not live deadly Grin

wilmabedrock · 07/09/2014 09:20

Oh and splodge, toast or digestive biscuits/rich tea? Plain crisps if you fancy some salt? Sometimes sucking a hard sweetie helps.

Nessalina · 07/09/2014 09:27

Re: telling folks, only tell those that you're happy to tell if things don't go so well Sad Sorry to be negative, but we told a fair few people first time round, because we'd had an EPU scan at 7 weeks and seen a heartbeat, so then when things went pear shaped there was a lot of people to tell again. I haven't been back to my hairdresser (told because wasn't dying hair like usual) because I couldn't bear going into it in the salon! Blush
Second time I told my two best pals ASAP, and I told my mum, but not my dad. I love my dad, but he's a worrier, and I wanted to just be able to give him good news at 12 weeks! Everyone's different, just go with your gut.

Do we think Peppa pig did it to herself? Does she need pig counselling?!

wilmabedrock · 07/09/2014 09:30

Unfortunately her non-existent linguistic skills don't stretch to such explanations. She is saying 'weeee' though so I'm hoping she's thinking it's a bit like a swing.

Totally agree with you Lala, that's not fair. Just watching Osbourne on tv talking about the 'devo-max' thing. Apparently they're setting it out within the next ten days. They must be scared if they have resorted to making actual promises. Sorry, will stop political chat now Grin .
