Posted too soon-I'm leaving this thread. Had another scan yesterday and there was nothing in the sac. I'm having a scan at the hospital tomorrow but I'm not holding my breath. Good luck to you all

We had just had the laparoscopy and had a timeline for ivf and when we would start adoption process. I had an incline the month we got pg owing to random bowel movements but I still didn't expect it iyswim. On the morning I poas, I was 4 days early and didn't expect anything so wasn't prepared and ended up blurting out to DH rather than my grand plan of how I would tell him (which I had been - in a sad kinda way - dreaming up for 20 months). We're so happy. I'd just love to be at 12 weeks.

Crisps I'm so sorry.

Durham congratulations on the scan!

Hyper I completely agree about the LMP thing. I know exactly when I conceived and tried to say when I went for the early scan that I was sure I wasn't as far along as they thought. They thought 6+6 and just said "let's not complicate things" when I mentioned it. sure enough, the scan showed 5+4.

Ela I think it was you I was talking to about kittens? think I'm getting cat mad too. Helix is 4 months and tiny but we are getting a little 8 week old boy this weekend to keep her company. I can't wait!

I went (was forced) to the doctor today. I really have been in an awful state with anxiety and feeling very down. Have worried quite a few people. Been put on some new medication to try and feel more positive just because I'm trying something. Thanks for all of your support ladies Smile

woodlandwanderwoman · 07/08/2014 23:14

My early scan dates to the exact date that I know I conceived as well, although LMP puts me about 4 days behind.

ChristinaYang · 07/08/2014 23:44

So sorry Crisps, take care of yourself x

Hyper if you know when you ovulated/conceived would you not count back 14 days from there and say that was you LMP? I ovulated on day 10 I think so told the docs my LMP was 4 days earlier than it actually was Smile.

Tiredness is catching up on me, I was thinking of going to bed at 8 and here I am still up!! Yucky bleeding gums tonight when brushing my teeth Confused

littlemissy12345 · 08/08/2014 08:31

Well I've managed 2 days without actually throwing up. Obviously that's making me worry but I do still feel nauseous. Perhaps my body is getting used to the hormones? Anyone else?

Marama · 08/08/2014 08:36

So sorry, crisps, hope you take care of yourself, and let others take care of you!

Marama · 08/08/2014 08:37

littlemissy, I was just coming on here to post the same thing. A couple of days, no nausea, a bit tired, but that's normal for me anyway, and my boobs are nowhere near as sore as they were. I should be 8 weeks on Monday, though I'm really not sure of the dates. My early scan that showed a heartbeat said I was 6 weeks along, that took place on 28 July.

I just feel... normal, I guess? Aside from the tiredness, which is normal for me anyway as I've never slept well.

FoscarC · 08/08/2014 09:21

marama and little I think symptoms do start to tail off. I started to have good and bad days from about 8 weeks. I'd have a good day followed by a bad and so on. Then around 9 and a half weeks my sickness has gone completely. And I now just have tiredness (but not as bad) and heartburn and bloating and wind and headaches and sore boobs. I worried when my sickness stopped as you really associate that with things being 'ok'. But when I think about it there are a host of other thins going on that may not be as obvious, but are still low level symptoms. And every woman is different. I'm sure my mum and both my sisters had no sickness at all.

M27J5M · 08/08/2014 09:25

So sorry to hear your news crisps! Hope your ok

I've had acupuncture abs have been taking B6 and it's been nearly a week since I last threw up. Still a teeny bit nauseous but it's improving. The food aversion is the worst now. And the dizziness.

All in all I do feel improved though. Yay.

Butterpuff · 08/08/2014 09:34

So sorry chrisps take care.

marama and little like foscar mine has changed. I had really, really bad all day nausea mixed with random sickness from 5.5 weeks. It peaked for me around 8-9 weeks but since then has started to improve. I have good days and bad days but on the whole it is a lot more manageable. I am 11 weeks today (until they put me back at my scan next Thursday) and yesterday I lots my breakfast, but today nothing much more than some very low level nausea.

I haven't had much breast soreness since week 4 really, but tired beyond belief, oh and oh so very gassy. Hubby thinks its hilarious and throws the odd fart in to make me feel better Wink. My Mum had no morning sickness at all that she can remember either.

Cant wait for the scan to feel a little more confident, then we can get booking holidays.

Marama · 08/08/2014 09:49

Thanks foscar and butterpuff - I actually called the midwife centre to talk to someone. She was lovely, and while she couldn't offer me a guarantee, she did say that everything sounded to her as if it was normal and on the right track...

And I've been gassy too!
