Durham - great news that you're feeling well enough to be back at home. That in itself will make you feel a bit better I'm guessing?

I feel a bit better today, now on countdown to my booking in appointment next Wednesday.

Thinking of you and your mum life. Durham it's great to hear you're out, well done! Was it hg or severe ms? You can be our token Kate Middleton!!
Fish fingers that sounds awful, you sound like you could do with some help, could dd go to a close friends house for the afternoon?
Queef I am intrigued!!! Did your mum not think it could be you at all? Very exciting, let us know how she takes the news!

I have a feeling our little bean is a girl which is good because a) we have a fab girls name and no boys name picked and b) I would have really liked two boys but this way I have already got my head round possibly having a girl and so would be very happy either way!

Sounds like a rough day for a lot of people. I just feel a bit down today. Stressing about work again. Long summer holidays aren't very good for me! Roll on next week. I have my next scan a week today and I can't wait to see if things have developed as they should. I might be able to relax then. And then my booking in appointment on Friday. Eeek!

Have had a terrible morning - ds (21 months) fell down the stairs. Other than a black eye, he's fine. Me, not so much.

Oh dear toast. Everyone is having a rotten day. Poor DS.

If it makes you feel any better the doctor told my Dad when I was a similar, maybe younger age that Mum always suffers more in these situations. Dad had taken me into the loft to help him with some tidying, I got bored and crawled out, fell down the loft ladder round the corner and down the stairs. Landed at the bottom completely unscathed. Mum on the other hand came home to be told and was a wreck.

Joining the dreadful day feel so sick and the killer headache has returned! Doesn't help that my boss is being extra vile and she knows I'm pregnant!!

Keep thinking this time next week we would of had our 12 week scan!!x

It sounds like there is going to be a huge numbers of scans next week. How many do we actually have? Me:

Woodlandwanderwoman -12w scan, Aug 19

No scan date here yet. probably 1st 2 weeks of September. My booking in appointment isn't until 14th August!!!

Wonderland I have a scan too on the 19th. Mine will only be at 8+4 though. It's a follow up from one I had at 5+4 due to bleeding. My 12 week scan isn't until 17th September! It's crazy how much variation there is, even though we're all due in March.

Woodland I completely mixed up your name then, sorry!

No scan date yet not booking in until 4th Sept will be about 10+ weeks then so shouldn't have too long to wait once that's over.

I'm horizontal on the sofa listening to dd singing in her bed and chatting to her teddies, hope my next baby is as good and sweet as her.

The puppy on the other hand is driving me mad, running around chewing and farting. No dh to take her for a long walk and I'm a bit nervous to go out incase I faint again.

Sorry for everyone's rubbish days, keep telling myself this is going to get better soon! and before I know it I will have a new baby to exhaust me and a whole host of new things to worry about so that pregnancy seems like the easy fun bit!

Scan next Weds 20/08 when I'll be 12+4 according to dates

I'm also August 19th 8.20 AM was so excited I got the first appointment!!

Woodland it was hyperemisis, I had been so sick I was severely dehydrated and had to be put on a drip for a few days...thankfully feeling so much better now.

Yah to getting home durham

Sorry so many others are having bad days. I hope your mum has good news life. fish have you seen a gp? Sounds like it might be an idea to gey checked out if dh is going to be away.

I have my booking apt tomorrow and 12w scan next week on 21st. I am feeling nervous about it already as my symptoms gave declined apart from tiredness and the joyous constipation which could both be normal, run of the mill things

I have scan and a second MW appt on the 2nd Sep. Just in tme so I can take the scan photo on holiday to shw my parents :)

I have a reassurance scan on the 21st aug (10+1) and my 12 week scan 4th sept (12+1)

I went to a Gp the first time it happend but to be honest I can't really face it today which is probably bit silly, but they couldn't find a reason last time so figure it's just a pregnancy thing and nothing to worry about. Must drink more water.
I wouldn't worry about symptoms tailing off holly I know mine did last time about 9 weeks. Crossing fingers that happens again for me.

I finally got my scan date through today, 15th September but will be 13 weeks by then. Feels like ages away still. Haven't had a booking in appt from midwife though? I spoke to one on the phone last week who took my address to send me my scan and blood forms but I assume I'll actually meet one face to face at some point?! Xxx

ELA I would chase a booking appt if you haven't heard / had one by 8 weeks. Do you have any reason to think you might be high risk? If so, chase earlier

My scan is 20 August at 0920. I can't wait. Me and dh have the day off work so fingers crossed it's all good news and we can celebrate. And then we have the bank holiday weekend and we are going to see my parents and brothers and sisters and tell them all. Then the following weekend we have all of dh family coming to stay to tell them. It had better be good news otherwise we have some pretty shitty weekends to come!

I need to catch up on today but can see that there's a lot of sickness and life I really hope it's good news for your mum.

Meant to say I hope the sick people feel better soon. I now just have queasiness if I let myself get hungry. But have bad indigestion and constipation. And am HUGE!! And I have no excuse apart from eating stops me feeling sick. But did a 15km bike ride earlier to try and help and I'm eating a lot less now it don't feel so sick.

woodland I had a hospital appt today for something else and the consultant has written to my GP to refer me urgently to a gynae consultant so I'm assuming I will have to be seen at the hosp soon to judge whether I'm high risk or not. I have mild SLE so depends on what my rheumatolgist says when I see him on Friday and what the gynae consultant says. My form I got sent a copy of from the midwife says booking form on the top of it! Xxx
