sounds fab Dani, enjoy Smile

BigHairyLeggedSpider · 15/08/2014 20:50

Its not so much hardcore as like being in a very very dark sitcom....Grin

The Dsses are here and I've sorted the clothes mountain on their beds. I am trying to persuade a 14 year old boy that he needs to make an exhausted pregnant woman a cuppa and some crumpets. So far unsuccessful. I have tried grossing him out with words like 'discharge, mucus, and cervical sweep' but he says hes a modern male and doesnt get grossed out by stuff like that. Grin

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 15/08/2014 21:40

Shock I want crumpets too, DSS!

CatFaceCrayola · 15/08/2014 21:43

I had millionaire shortbread and may have also finished off my friends coffee and walnut cake too :/
And then we've just eaten a massive Indian! Remind me of this gluttony when I'm whinging about how fat and flabby I am after giving birth!

Glad peoples scans went well. :)

freyaW2014 · 15/08/2014 21:48

I need a chocolate fudge cake with double cream. I think this must be a real craving as I had the same feeling a few weeks ago.
I had a trifle craving recently as well!

BigHairyLeggedSpider · 15/08/2014 21:51

Sokay, after all the babies are born we can turn this into a flab support group Grin

I just GAVE AWAY the last of my milkybar buttons and rivita minis to the DSSes. Angry As yet no crumpets. I am going to make them myself and then lick the rest of any treaty things in the house.

BigHairyLeggedSpider · 15/08/2014 21:52

Custard slices.... I need one. Sad

Bettycakes80 · 15/08/2014 21:53

Just made a batch of almond cherry cookies. Have eaten 2 whilst they're still hot!

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 15/08/2014 22:01

I had nachos from Wetherspoon for tea because my brother was up visiting. Eating so badly this week, glad I had a vegetable binge halfway through!

PourquoiTuGachesTaVie · 15/08/2014 22:18

Chocolate digestives are what I'm craving tonight! Luckily I have some in already.

Ordered a dream genii pillow in the hope it will make sleeping easier as between them dh and ds deconstruct my carefully arranged pillows (all 4 of them) throughout the night for their own use. Hmm

CatFaceCrayola · 15/08/2014 23:21

Almond cherry cookies fresh from the oven...that sounds perfect betty

DH put a film on for us to snuggle up and watch. It was a Robin Williams (bad start already!) Film about people dying. He warned me it might be a little sad but said it was happy really. Halfway through we've had to turn it off as I was losing control "but that was a happy bit" says DH as I sob

we turned the film off 30min ago and I'm still bkubbing. God damn hormones!

BigHairyLeggedSpider · 16/08/2014 08:17

Being a shit stepmum today. Dss2 (10) woke up at half seven. Dp has had to go into work. I am full on exhausted after yesterday. I made him a drink and breakfast and have come back to bed. His brother (14) is still in bed. I have left out toast and tea making stuff in case he gets up before me. Dss2 is happy enough as he has cartoons and is playing pokemon on his ds. I am absolutely shattered.

Taura · 16/08/2014 08:34

BigHairy that doesn't sound shit! At 10 and 14 they can sort themselves out while you have a lie in :)

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 16/08/2014 08:59

Wahey I made the 666th post! starting the baby on it early!

BigHairyLeggedSpider · 16/08/2014 09:15

You'd think so wouldn't you! Its been my mission for the last 7 years to teach these two some self sufficiency but they are massively lazy and everything becomes a battle. Couple of days with us and they are much better though! Dss1 is getting better...

Also exposing the baby to a bit of rammstein this morning. Grin

Shanels · 16/08/2014 09:27

To all those worrying about baby kicks etc, get a Doppler from Amazon for £20. I've only used it 3 times and haven't become obsessive with it but it's great for those moments when you are filled with anxiety.
Sx

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 16/08/2014 09:47

Oooh Rammstein! I saw them at the NEC in 2005 and I was in the front row. I swear Till smiled at me when I blew him a kiss, I SWEAR IT!

Bettycakes80 · 16/08/2014 10:00

I'm currently wearing an Iron Maiden t shirt that is DH. All of mine are too tight. Rock on!

DrewsWife · 16/08/2014 10:03

Spider you are better than me. When dd lived here I left her to see to herself at that age ;).

Well last night I had a rave going on in the womb. Big fish. Little fish. Cardboard box... Seriously Gubbed today!!! Exhausted. Urghhhhh.

Finished work at 1am and knew it was going to be a restless night.

But to make it up hub has left me his bank card... How many rubber stamps can in buy before he finishes work tomorrow at. 2pm mwahahaha lol.

CatFaceCrayola · 16/08/2014 10:07

Not listened to Rammstein for an age!! That's todays tidying music sorted!

DH desperately wanted to share the bed with ne last night. We ended up top and tailing. Didn't work though, I've barely slept and everything hurts.

Ah well, our new weekend deal is in operation. He brings me breakfast in bed and I leave him in peace to watch cartoons downstairs

BigHairyLeggedSpider · 16/08/2014 10:07

Heh heh. I saw them at Sonisphere 2010. Absolutely amazing! Up now and debating what to do today. I would like to slump on the sofa and be fed toast all day. However we need to try putting up a new tent before we attempt to take it camping.

CatFaceCrayola · 16/08/2014 10:39

More ebay bargain nappies just arrived :) feel like a kid with a new toy! How sad!

BigHairyLeggedSpider · 16/08/2014 11:12

How many have you gone for in total? I think I have 20 so far but different styles. Can always sell or swap the ones we dont get on with. Treated myself to a new cheeky wipes kit too. :)
