ohfour - yy to lots of dreams. It's actually the only pg symptom I don't mind atm. Quite randy ones actually. Feeling drefful this morning. Like I'm running a temperature. Dunno if I've actually caught something or it's that delightful pg stuff again

notoasthere · 02/08/2014 12:17

Little squidgelet. I do have a subchorionic haemotoma but it's less than a cm round so unlikely to cause any problems

Notoast that's great news, really happy for you! Foscar have you found anything that helps? I had a hot shower last night (probably too hot but needs must) and that eased it a bit. Pickled, I get the same feeling, like you've done 200 stomach crunches as well! Coaster, hope you're ok and the spotting is nothing to worry about, ring midwife if you need to, thinking of you.

Got the stuff on asos, quite a lot of lines are selling out but lots of jeans and trousers £10-20 and I'm happy with the quality and fit. Don't need them yet but likewise when I do I'd probably need quickly and end up spending £90 on one pair just to get something! Good to buy ahead.

I laughed at the winter solstice water birth, I would name my first one Bank Holiday Bump Eviction.

Scan was amazing. We saw the heartbeat flickering on the screen and got to hear it as well. I'm measuring about 7 weeks so adjusted due date is 23rd of March. It was only 8 weeks ago that I miscarried so that seems about right to me. Everything looks as it should with no sign of any recent bleeding so I'm really pleased.

notoast glad you had a good scan as well. congrats.

coaster that's such a worry. Fingers crossed for you.

KeeperOfTheZoo · 02/08/2014 12:55

persepolis and notoast really pleased your scans went well Grin

Think I'm off to look at asos... Grin

coastergirl · 02/08/2014 13:47

Thanks for the good wishes. It's not too bad, and at the EPAU they said they're not worried about continued spotting as they've scanned me. Unless I get anything major they don't want to see me again until my next scan on the 19th.

notoast that scan looks fab! Love the name squidelet :-)

persepolis that is amazing news. My next scan is at 8+4 so hoping we can hear a heartbeat too!

I'm off to look at asos too :-)

Very very nervous this afternoon, bit of blood strained discharge. That and I've realised I've not felt as nauseous the past couple of days which I'd how was juts due to the fact that at 10 weeks the symptoms might be easing.
The EPU here isn't open on weekends and you can self refer anyway. Got Mt booking appointment with the Midwife at 9 on midday so I'm just going to have to wait and see what happens over the next few hoursSad

woodlandwanderwoman · 02/08/2014 15:35

Thinking of you northdown, must be such a worrying time. Is there a bigger hospital you can go to if you're worried?

coastergirl · 02/08/2014 15:52

I was advised to call the gynae ward at the weekend if I was worried. maybe give them a call if you are Smile

FoscarC · 02/08/2014 16:36

I've just brought this bandeau thing from jojo maman bebe which was £15 but attaches to all your trousers and means you can wear them With the button undone and it looks all nice and is better than using an elastic band as it covers it all up. I am sooo much more comfy and can still wear all my skinny jeans hopefully for a while yet.

MGFM · 02/08/2014 17:26

Noethdown fingers crossed for you.

I have decided that ms nausea is much like sea sickness. Now my dh can empathise. Been feeling rotten all day.

woodlandwanderwoman · 02/08/2014 17:32

Like sea sickness and severe jetlag combined!

teaandbiscuitsforme · 02/08/2014 18:23

North and Coaster Hope you're both ok.

Somebody mentioned travel sickness bands the other day for ms so I got some and they're brilliant! They haven't stopped me being sick but I don't feel half as nauseous all day and I can eat!

pinkandstripey · 02/08/2014 19:36

Feeling a little better today thankfully, seem to remember I had 2 weeks off work feeling like death last time and that was it, but this time is intermittent feeling terrible/feeling fine.

Been out for dinner with friends, and ate something. Told them our news, was a little nervous as know they've been ttc for a few months, but they are really excited for us, so thats lovely.

Weather has been so wet here today, had all the windows open, smells lovely and fresh :)

PickledPorcupine · 02/08/2014 19:51

Woodland I told dh your 200 crunches description for how I'm feeling and he said 'how would you know what that feels like?!' Cheeky git!

MGFM · 02/08/2014 20:58

Ok, let's talk about skin. Just over a year ago I started getting getting Dark patches under my eyes. Doctor swapped me to a progesterone only pill and ever since then I have had skin worse than a 13 yr old! I'm 31 for gods sake! After I came off the pill in Feb skin stayed bad and now am pregnant with hormones running riot my skin is still pretty bad. Please tell me the end is in sight!

Also food aversion has kicked in and have been struggling massively with meat. Feel like crap today and we are supposed tonben on romantic anniversary weekends! Argg! !!!

fourmonthstogo · 02/08/2014 21:31

northdown fingers crossed for you.
On the clothes front, if any of you are tall then look at gap- they have 25% off til tomorrow and they do jeans in a long length. I didn't find anything else last time that catered for women who are both tall and pregnant!

FoscarC · 02/08/2014 21:46

mgfm my skin has got bad too and it's normally quite good. Hoping it will get better but no sign of it yet. Have turned into a spotty teenager aged 33!!

northdownmummy · 02/08/2014 22:02

Thanks for the positive thoughts ladies. I'm trying to stay positive but you all know how it is.....
No pains and just tiny traces of blood when I wipe. If all stays the same tomorrow I'll wait till I'm seeing the midwife, any changes and I'll just go to a&e

coastergirl · 02/08/2014 22:04

My skin seems OK so far. I had horrendous acne in my teens which took forever to improve so I tend to think I've had my share!

After having next to no symptoms so far, I have felt pretty rubbish today. so tired and dizzy.

MGFM · 02/08/2014 22:16

Fingers crossed northdown

woodlandwanderwoman · 02/08/2014 22:21

Pickled that's very funny!!

notoasthere · 03/08/2014 05:39

Thinking of you northdown

My skin is horrendous too. I have a burgeoning volcanic eruption on my nose which is just great when I'm meant to be out for my birthday today (big day tomorrow) Will have to apply concealer with a trowel....

MotherOfInsomniacToddlers · 03/08/2014 06:07

My skin and nails have always improved when pregnant, it's after the birth it all goes to pot!

WittgensteinsBunny · 03/08/2014 07:28

Hello everyone, newbie here! I'm due 28/3 with dc2. dd1 is 13 months, so a fairly small gap. We didn't think I would fall so quickly as I'm still bfing a lot and it took a long time to make dd1. So just 6 weeks at the moment. Very nervous as have had 2 MCs at the 6ish week mark before. Feeling reassuringly exhausted and nauseous at the mo. Anyway , thought I would join and say hello!
