Should be a lovely day for a crossing Durham! I know that area well, it will be beautiful at the moment.

I have a hen weekend in the north of England to go on this weekend and in my slightly fed up, tired and continuously nauseous state don't mind saying I am dreading it. It looks like possibly the most over engineered event I can remember in a long time and I will only know a handful of other girls, none of whom I wish to tell about my pregnancy yet. I know that if I feel I am put in a position where I have to say it, I will feel sad, it's not how I want to share the news. I'm sure it will be fun when I get there...

charlieis30 · 24/07/2014 10:51

Updated my stats on the list. Baby #1 (hope so!) edd 11/3 woohooo

charlieis30 · 24/07/2014 10:52

Haha just ticked myself and it came up as "completed just now" erm no hoping for completion in around 7 months Grin

Mer93 · 24/07/2014 11:12

Hey, not sure what I should say. I found out yesterday that I'm about 5 weeks pregnant and due on the 23rd March. Going for my first meeting with a midwife on the 14th August.

MrsAmelia · 24/07/2014 11:31

Congrats on the pregnancy Mer93!!

Pintoftea & Persepolis - curious to hear how you two go about with the scan stuff. I'll keep my fingers crossed for both of you that you get what you want and when. Grin

MGFM - wow! You are brave! I can't imagine having to use an outside loo on any regular basis. Happy for your return to home and normalcy Smile

Keeper - I hope you're "ok". I know that sounds weak, but get checked out around your neck and spine. Hope you can get some downtime to make sure you're ok.

ZebraZeebra - you're still doing kettle bells?!? Lucky!! I worked out last year regularly with kettle bells and LOVED them, and the results! I've been zapped for energy since got my BFP, so have only done walking everyday, but do you think in the second trimester one could still use kettle bells doing squats and lunges? I'd love to, but am a bit afraid. What do you think?

What I wouldn't give for a massive bowl of pasta with pesto right now!! (Hungry, but oh-so-nauseous...freaking contradiction) Confused

Sunshine4444 · 24/07/2014 12:01

I had my first midwife appointment on Tuesday was literally 10 mins and filled some forms in!

We went for an early scan a few weeks ago and got to hear the heartbeat which was amazing.

Still not feeling any real symptoms although on my way to the midwife I just managed to get the car over in time to throw up! (baby wipes and water are a must have in the car now!)

Is anyone else showing? people keep saying to me I look really big which is slightly annoying but there is def a bump there! :)

oliveobsessed · 24/07/2014 12:15

Sunshine - I officially look like a heffalump me and DP went to a charity launch night on saturday so the full long dress and tux. Looking back over the photos I look about 5 months not 7-8 weeks. Hoping some of it is bloat!!

pinkandstripey · 24/07/2014 12:17

Afternoon all :)

smoke that's a great list thing!

I've got an ill man and a grumpy child :( both are irritating me, ds I'is clambering all over mm, want to scream every time he goes near my boobs :(

Hope everyone is having a good day x

FoscarC · 24/07/2014 12:18

Hello all. I hope you are all ok today.

Welcome mer

Hope your head is ok keeper

I am starting to feel a bit better. This is worrying me. I'm still tired and joined the 5am club today for the first time. But my nausea has settled and I am not quite as tired as I have been. To be honest I am sure I have had a few days where I feel better and then worry then suddenly feel awful again. But I liked the consistent sickness I did have. Well, I hated it but it made me feel pregnant. It might just be that I'm learning how to cope with it, plus I'm 8+3 now so maybe I'm just getting to the feeling better stage. Can not wait for 12 week scan. Need to knows bean is ok.

persepolis123 · 24/07/2014 12:27

keeper that's awful. Hope you are ok

I need to eat little and often to keep the nausea at bay but I'm not that hungry. Also worried if I carry on eating so much I will put on a ridiculous amount of weight.

smokeandglitter · 24/07/2014 12:30

Sunshine, I'm not 'showing' yet, but my normally small boobs feel/look huge!

Zebra I'm using mini dumbells (haha autocorrect wanted to say bumbells!) that are about 2.5kg - good for you, keeping up with it! I'm super hoping money comes in soon so I can swim again.

Durham Yes, insomnia is awful! Glad you got some sleep. Hope travelling goes well!

Just put everyone in chronological order on The List. Grin

smokeandglitter · 24/07/2014 12:32

PS. Thanks pinkandstripey!

ZebraZeebra · 24/07/2014 12:37

I think you can do pretty much anything you were doing before because your body is used to it. Only in the third trimester would I start being aware of stretchy ligaments. Bit to be honest DS is 14kg and my kettle bell is 16kg. Sometimes I swing DS like a kettle bell. I'll probably just do swings and dead lifts. My husband I did parkour so balancing and vaulting is ok for while, as is climbing and hanging.

notoasthere · 24/07/2014 12:38

Very impressed with you ladies who are exercising - just going for a walk exhausts me at the moment!

smokeandglitter · 24/07/2014 12:41

Zebra I'm so jealous. I'm only 6 weeks and already am having to wear an ankle support (hypermobile and nerve damage) which the dr puts down to pregnancy, my joint flexibility has risen over the last couple of weeks. Do you not get cramps? That's been my exercise problem when doing cardio apart from joints.

Tugstonia · 24/07/2014 13:04

Hi ladies, can I join you? Found out a couple of days ago that I'm upduffed with DC2 (my DD is 18 months), EDD end of March (26th or 30th - GP and I couldn't agree!). Referred for an early scan tomorrow morning because I've had spotting and cramps so fingers crossed. No symptoms really apart from big sore boobs and fuzzy brain Smile

Brummiegirl15 · 24/07/2014 13:10

woodland I know how you feel, I went on a hen do last weekend and I had to tell some people which was a bit rubbish

Welcome mer

northernlass81 · 24/07/2014 13:15

hi everyone. Can I join in too please? I'm just 5 weeks, EDD 26th March. I've just been booked in this morning - ridiculously early I know but when I phoned to make an appointment they seemed desperate to get me in as were very quiet!! All starting to feel a little more real....

Sunshine4444 · 24/07/2014 13:22

I am also so glad that we will be at our heaviest during the winter. I am struggling big time in this heat!!

notoasthere · 24/07/2014 13:32

Hello to the new faces!

DS had a glorious 2 hour outside nap, so I sat on the sofa and did....nothing. Twas bliss! It is sooooo unbelievably warm here - one load of washing dry in under 2 hours and a second load on the line! I'm thinking we might have to head out for an ice cream once ds finishes his lunch!

Safra72 · 24/07/2014 14:15

Can I ask those who have had early scans..... How many weeks were u and did you have abdominal or internal scan?

Just curious, ds was ivf so well used to the dildo cam as someone's oh (in here but can't remember who!) so delicately put it!

Cheers.

FoscarC · 24/07/2014 14:22

I went to do some 'exercise' at lunch. Best session ever. Walked 20 mins to the shop (did walk fast) and got myself and icecream and walked back!! He he he!! Have yoga tonight though.

Dinnerfor1 · 24/07/2014 14:26

foscar that sounds like my type of exercise!

I think irrational pregnancy hormones have hit - I just spent 10 minutes crying on my husbands shoulder excuse my sister couldn't go for coffee. I knew I was bein ridiculous but just couldn't stop!

Dinnerfor1 · 24/07/2014 14:27

*excuse should read because
