Morning all. After building up to feeling quite sick yesterday afternoon, I felt better once I'd eaten, looking forward to a relaxing evening with DH. Anyway, I sat down at 7.30 and by 8.15 I was out for the count! DH lured me up to bed where I slept until 6.30 this morning when I was woken by DD.

I do like a good sleep me Grin I'll be making the most of it while I can, as I'm sure I'll joined the ranks of insomniacs soon enough.

MrsA, interesting what you say about the scans, I'll be looking into it today...

Hope that's not a bad omen!! (EDD 19th March)

smokeandglitter · 24/07/2014 08:51

Not at all, Durham! Just my fuzzy brain, been up since half 2am and nervous about my first press day. Although, I really should have remembered as you're edd is the same as mine! Smile

MotherOfInsomniacToddlers · 24/07/2014 08:52

Morning! Rang to make a booking appointment, where I used to live we just made the appointment but here I have to see a doctor first? Will I have to do a test?! (Only worried cause I'll be taking two toddlers with me and worrying about logistics?!)

MGFM · 24/07/2014 08:56

Woke up at 0230 this morning to go to the bathroom (which is still outside) could not get back to sleep. Fingers crossed I don't fall asleep on the m25 later :-(

Brummiegirl15 · 24/07/2014 08:56

Morning all!! Wow this thread has moved so quickly!!!!

Had my docs appointment last night and sorted my date for booking in appt too - 7th August. Hurrah!

Also chatted with doc about previous treatment I've had including letz loop diathermy and come biopsy. She's going to see if I need to have a consultation as might need a stitch putting in, so just need to wait and see.

We are on final stretch to weekend!! Woo hoo! Got a drinks thing tonight but driving so no one suspects - but I'll get the usual "oh just leave your car and have a few drinks" I used to be a bit of a party girl shall we say !

smokeandglitter · 24/07/2014 09:12

Right, had an idea so the list doesn't keep being reposted. It can now be found here, and each name is able to be edited seperately.
The Marvellous March Bunch

I didn't have to do a test Mother, but if you're worried you could do one at home and take it with you to pass to dr discreetly away from little eyes?

MGFM 2:30am buddies! Bless you re toilet outside, must be awful.

Me too, Brummiegirl I know people will be suspicious of me this weekend because although I've managed to wangle a friend's housewarming to start as a BBQ at 2pm, it would usually be my perfect excuse for a glass bottle of wine.

persepolis123 · 24/07/2014 09:15

MrsA Thanks for the info. It's definitely worth a try. I MC naturally so no D&C but I did visit A&E and speak to the local EPU on the phone so they should have a record of it.

I got out my baby name book last night and had a quick peek before shoving it back in the drawer for fear of jinxing things Confused

KeeperOfTheZoo · 24/07/2014 09:16

Morning all! Great news Zyla, glad everything looking spot on for you.

Crap about Broodylicious though Sad

Well for the first time in about 3 weeks my DS actually slept the whole night through which was a relief, and much better than getting up twice a night as we have been doing lately. I still woke up with a headache this morning though, which was annoying as I took my last 2 paracetamol yesterday Sad. I only have ibuprofen in the house now, which obviously i can't take anymore so I have to put up with the pain until this afternoon when I can go to the shop on the way home from work.

And then just to make things worse...someone drove straight into the back of me on the way to work!! Sad Angry

Thankfully it wasn't too much of an impact and we are both ok, just some damage to the bumper and i now the back of my head is as sore as the front thanks to my hitting the headrest!! I was literally a hundred yards from work though so another 10 seconds and I'd have been off the road...!

Hope everyone else is having a better Thursday.

M27J5M · 24/07/2014 09:31

Oh no keeper :( hope your ok and not too shaken up

PintOfTea · 24/07/2014 09:38

Oh no Keeper, what a horrible start to the day. Do you have a shop near work to can pop to quickly, I'm sure it'd be ok considering your morning? If you say it loudly, you neer know, some kind soul might step in with some paracetamol to save you the trip?

I've been searching through the NICE guidelines to no avail MrsA/Persepolis, but I have found conflicting personal reports so really think it's the good old postcode lottery at work here.

I did have an ERPC. The mmc was diagnosed when I self-referred to the EPU (for very very minor spotting), so I think I might call them and lay it on a bit thick and see if they will book me in (I know some EPUs do).

smokeandglitter · 24/07/2014 09:39

Just wanted to say I meant to say "list being reposted in full". I had just thought that the reposts take up a lot of the thread and because we're a lively bunch I thought an url would be easier to post.

Keeper Oh no, is your head ok? You poor thing, bumps like that are horrid.

MotherOfInsomniacToddlers · 24/07/2014 09:42

Thanks smoke, i asked a local friend and she said they do do tests here but you are allowed to bring it back the next day if you like, I think I'm just going to ask if we can be discrete as she's only just 3 but has very good comprehension and repeats EVERYTHING!! She's already asking why we are going. And then I have the nearly two year old to worry about causing havoc...... Then the doctor will most definitely think I'm clinically insane having another one..... Which I possibly am!!
Oh no smoke!! Not a great start to the day? Can only get better?!

MotherOfInsomniacToddlers · 24/07/2014 09:43

Ah i meant keeper! Sorry blames baby brain already

MGFM · 24/07/2014 09:48

smoke it is annoying, they have moved the showers outside now aswell. I personally thought there was nothing wrong with them and they didn't need refurbished. Every time I moan about it I feel very shallow as I read an article a few weeks ago about Indian women in rural areas needing to wait until dark to go into the field to use the toilet and making sure the go in groups so not to get raped. So my outside toilet issue by comparison is pretty petty. Anyway. 7 weeks today! Booking in appointment tomorrow morning. Getting very excited!

ZebraZeebra · 24/07/2014 09:48

Damn this thread moves fast!

Struggling to do any kind of exercise but might get back on the kettle bells today. To be honest I'm walking around six hours a day with DS so I'm not too worried. Last time I swam two miles at 41 weeks but I had time on my hands! I'm hoping the near constant movement because of toddler will help keep things from stagnating. I was so physically fucked after labour last time anyway, all the yoga, Pilates and swimming I did didn't seem to make any difference! DH is still trying to get me to complete a muscle up do that's a daily challenge/ effort ;)

ZebraZeebra · 24/07/2014 09:51

MGFM I have completely missed why your toilets are outside??

MGFM · 24/07/2014 10:05

zebra I am in military accommodation (last day today and I get to move home ) and they are refurbishing the toilets and showers. They were pretty dated but worked fine. The temporary solution are portakabkns in the car park. I am being posted back to where my married quarter is (which has indoor bathroom lol) today so no more Monday to Friday away from home. No more m25. If I wasn't so tired I would be dancing I am That happy about the move. Can't wait to live at home!

KeeperOfTheZoo · 24/07/2014 10:05

Re: exercise, I have been struggling recently with absolutely no energy, but I have been forcing myself to go to both body pump and body combat once a week. I also have a dog so get out walking with him, although in this heat that's not happening so much because he's old and a bit knackered and hates this weather! I fancied doing pregnancy yoga or pilates last time round but never plucked up the courage to give it ago - maybe I will this time...

Head feeling a bit better now thank you - just been sitting in my office pretending to work (but actually spent more time on MN!) with a fan pointing at me and drinking plenty of ice cold water. I am practically falling asleep at my desk though, which is a bit worrying as I actually had 7 straight hours sleep last night for the first time in weeks and it's only 10am - what am I going to be like by tea time?!?!

DurhamRed · 24/07/2014 10:17

Thanks Smoke I know what you mean about fuzzy brain. Insomnia is such a pain! Managed to have a decent night sleep last night, first time in ages, though woke up to awful ms...I'm travelling to Brittany today too, let's hope the tablets kick in and the journey is smooth!
