Hi,

I've finally got my BFP and want to find others who want to chat and eat cake whilst being excited about cooking our little dragons.

I am 31yrs old, just got my BFP for #2.

Come in and sit down for the next nerve racking 9 months :)

Hi everyone. Just got BFP. 34, one dd aged 16 months. Grin

Wherediparkmybroom · 31/07/2014 06:33

Don't listen to them Brixton, my first midwife was like this, a different problem every visit!

BrixtonBunny · 31/07/2014 07:23

Thanks for the reassurance everyone - you are a wonderful lot Grin

BrixtonBunny · 31/07/2014 07:23

Cat congrats and welcome on board! X

Nordicmom · 31/07/2014 08:36

I'm off :( . Bleeding more and no BFP anymore this morning ...

ladyflower23 · 31/07/2014 08:47

I'm so sorry nordicmum Sad xx

BrixtonBunny · 31/07/2014 09:09

Sorry Nordic, sending huge hugs ThanksThanksThanks xxx

BrixtonBunny · 31/07/2014 09:14

Oh my goodness, ladies... I can't tell anyone in real life yet as we're going to call everyone tonight, but... My DP is going to become my DH! I'm delighted! We had been mentioning it on and off over the last few months, then when I got my BFP DP's first words (after hugging me tightly) were "let's get engaged!". I told him to think about it for a few days to make sure it wasn't the emotion talking, but he's sure he wants to do it. So BrixtonBunny and Mr BB are getting hitched! Not sure when,as it will depend on whether my bean sticks, but I'm so happy. I love the idea of getting married with baby BB with us. Grin Xxx

lila35 · 31/07/2014 09:22

Oh Nordic, so very sorry. Hope you have lots of support around you x

cinnamongreyhound · 31/07/2014 09:36

Sorry to hear that Nordicmom :(

It was 5 weeks for me Lindalove, with both. I found I carried the little stick of cheese with me and crackers to nibble on when I felt I could. With ds1 I was sick every morning and multiple times a day from 5 to 13 weeks and then it vanished! With ds2 I wasn't sick every day just nauseous and sick some days and it lasted well into the teen weeks.

That really sucks, horrible dr Brixtonbunny!! Spotted with ds2 and all was fine. I'm having lots of cramps at the moment on and off not all day but can't remember if I did before.

Read back now and on dr I made appt with gp with ds1 she was lovely and bubbly (after she asked if it was a wanted pregnancy!) and just said take folic acid and don't smoke and wrote my name in midwives book. With ds2 I didn't go in just called and I had to go and complete a form in reception, very confidential!! And midwife called me for booked around 10 weeks and scan appt came in post.

I've told me parents (don't see dh's very much) and a few friends who know we were trying so have been asking how it's going and I'm rubbish at lying! We're not telling dc or anyone else until after 12w scan.

I was fine with ds1 but totally panicked with ds2 and convinced I'd mc so scan was a huge relief! This time I'm ok so far.

Food wise I couldn't bear the smell of coffee once ms kicked in so that wasn't a problem and I don't drink. I missed a dippy boiled egg but my sensible brains says a lion egg should be fine and mr whippy and mcdonalds milkshakes I really wanted but didn't. I don't eat pate or blue cheeses either.

Hope everyone is ok this morning. I had a talk from my mum last night about stopping running now Angry, maybe I just won't mention running again to her!

cinnamongreyhound · 31/07/2014 09:36

Congrats Brixtonbunny, that's great news!! I love weddings Grin

catellington · 31/07/2014 09:46

Nordicmum Thanks really sorry to hear that.

Brixtonbunny Smile congratulations! That's great news. You must be overwhelmed with good news at the moment!

I have no symptoms so far in particular. I did have a feeling this month though, because I had mid cycle bleeding which I haven't had before. Also lots of things which could be seen as omens......Orchid coming back to life despite having been a withered stick for over a year.......my stepsister suddenly insisting I already had children, various people asking me......wooooooo!!!!!

BrixtonBunny · 31/07/2014 09:54

Thanks cat and cinnamon, it will be nice to be able to tell people some good news! Not telling anyone about being upduffed is killing me (though my mum now knows which is lovely) xx

RiverRocks · 31/07/2014 10:29

Nordic, so sorry to hear that. Thanks and fx you get a sticky bean soon xx

Congratulations Brixton, that's wonderful news. Something to share with your families until you can tell them the even better news Grin

Been having slight nausea the last couple of days, which I don't remember from my previous mmc pregnancy, and the tiredness is in full swing now. I work long days, and at the minute am literally getting up, going to work, coming home, eating tea, going to bed. Repeat.

Out with friends for a leaving do tomorrow night. Only a few very close friends, so think I might just tell them why I'm not drinking rather than fibbing Confused

pyrowall · 31/07/2014 10:31

Oh Nordic - I'm so sorry for you Sad

Congrats Brixton Thanks

Still nothing re: symptoms here - but I did try a little experiment last night - I've run out of tests but not of OPK strips, so I gave one a go, it was the strongest positive I've seen on a OPK!!

Feeling a little sore in the mouth as I've just been to the dentist Sad

lozzg82 · 31/07/2014 15:10

Hi everyone

Can I join in too. I had my BFP in Tuesday, and took another on Wednesday just to be sure :-) I'm v excited but paranoid and already wishing I was 12 weeks to have a scan!

I think I would be due around 4th April.

My stats - I'm 32 and this is my first pregnancy.

Lindalove · 31/07/2014 16:02

Hey all - I'm not ONLY eating salad don't worry - I mean more that usual to add to the vits. I had a MAHOOSIVE burger at lunch. I'm actually a puny size 8, 53kg, 5ft 7 weakling so I fully expect to be told to pack on a few pounds by the midwife when I finally go in for a check ( assuming I make it that far).

Cinnamon thanks for the cheese & crackers tip, that might be useful if/when I start to throw up. Sort of am hoping I will as it shows the hormones are working properly and at 38 I'd rather suffer a bit more if needs be if it means a healthy baby.

Cisforcat · 31/07/2014 18:34

Congrats Brixton that's super exciting!
Nordic I'm so sorry. Sending a massive hug.

Still no symptoms here I don't think. I might be tired but with a 7 month old that's teething and not sleeping as well as my first week back at work- it might be masked as in exhausted anyway! What have I left myself in for lol!

Hope everyone is ok! Just wanted to dip in but the last few days have been manic! Glad to see the buses seats are filling up :)

Snap Lucy

Congratulations

What do you think your due date is?

cinnamongreyhound · 31/07/2014 20:12

Hi Lucy61!

I take my hat off to you Cisforcat!! I have 3 1/2yrs between ds's and will be 4 1/2 between ds2 and this one. Can't imagine a tiny age gap, hardwork but I know friends with small gap say it's great when they get a bit older :). Dss will be almost 14 when this one is born, ds1 8 and ds2 4 so will be quite a range of ages!

Cassieyellow · 31/07/2014 20:12

Hi ladies. Tentatively joining (classic, paranoid person) with a due date of 4th April. I am 34 and this will be my second. Xx

Cassieyellow · 31/07/2014 20:13

On the age gap...I have a nine month old. Aahhh!
