Hi,

I've finally got my BFP and want to find others who want to chat and eat cake whilst being excited about cooking our little dragons.

I am 31yrs old, just got my BFP for #2.

Come in and sit down for the next nerve racking 9 months :)

I'm 6 weeks today and my sickness has literally just kicked in in the lady couple of hours. I feel awful! I thought I wasn't going to make it through DD's bedtime. I had to sit with my eyes closed as I gave her her milk! DH is away for work for 2 weeks for work so I'm solo parenting. It's been fine so far but I'm really going to struggle if I keep feeling like this :(

Oh god roast poor you. I'm dreading it. Was bad enough last time and I didn't have DS to look after. I found I felt worst in the middle of the night. Have you tried the wrist bands? They did help me a bit.

Right... I'm fed up of having no symptoms of note!

I'm tired and hungry all the time - but I always was!!

Something..just something...a wave of nausea would do me!!

On another note - I have a letter inviting me for a smear - I'll not be having one of those thank you!!!

Scratch I'm also looking forward to cake and GBBO!!

DP is stuck on the other side of the country still, hoping he'll be back tomorrow. I'm all emotional-knew I shouldn't have let myself get excited to see him! Hormones are everywhere.

Well done Lades for collating all that! I too am an elder statesmen at 37 (38 when baby comes all, being well) and due April 3rd - the first 12 weeks really really drags and can't believe how fat I already am - NEVER gonna be able to keep this a secret! Beyond exhausted too x

I'm 36, due early April or possibly late March, but I'll stay here for now if that's okay! I've felt as though I have a permanent hangover for the last 3 or 4 days - eurgh - but trying not to complain as hoping it's a good sign. Headaches, nausea, tiredness, wanting to snack a lot but not enjoying meals .. I think I'll try the bands - still a bit worried about the ginger capsules! Enjoying the GBBO - my toddler has finally gone to sleep. Feels like since we found out the news she has decided not to sleep at bedtime (from previously being very good) - maybe she's reminding me that it's not going to be easy with two!

Epic fail I thought GBBO was on at 9. How very annoying. Ipad battery just died so can't even watch iplayer. Now watching a story about baby pandas and orphaned gorillas, making me blub.

misty it's probably trapped wind and bloating. A delightful side effect in the first trimester. This time round I already feel like I look about 6 months. Soooo bloated, can't suck it in at all.

For those going from 1 to 2 DC. Are you worried about how you'll cope with 2? I know I already am.

Been out for dinner tonight with preschool committee and one of the ladies told us she's pregnant, due Jan. Lots of baby chat and I felt like a horrible person saying nothing and knowing I was too.akes me not want to go out in public until I've had my scan!!

Just attempted an early night after stuffing my face with cookies watching GBBO but thwarted by upset tummy and extremely annoying cough! Hoping my jif lemon/honey and hot water concoction sorts out the cough and doesn't worsen the tummy!

Misty I've also noticed a tightening of my bra around my ribcage, and my knickers feel snug too - however, I have put that down to bloating and my new found cookie - -and cake and ice cream and chocolate- - habit!

Yes I'm terrified about going from one to two! I just can't imagine how it's going to work

Hi, am 4 wks pregnant after 2.5 years of trying for #3. I had given up all hope as BFN followed BFN, so was greatly surprised to get a BFP on Sunday. Edd is 11th April.

I have no idea how I am going to manage with 2, this pregnancy is going to be a busy one preparing!

How is everyone this morning?

Good morning to all. Did anyone find it unbearably hot last night or is it just me? One of my symptoms has been I'm hotter than usual. Had to kip on the sofa last night as too hot upstairs.
Do any other posters have animals? We have a siamese cat. She thinks she's the baby - she's in for a shock. She bit me last night. Does anyone have any experience in helping pets too adjust?
