Onwards into the 2nd trimester, where hopefully the bumps will overtake the poo factories!

Happy Sunday!

Rum, poo factory is still very apt, I may have blocked the loo yesterday Blush
We were at a friends BBQ yesterday, I had lots of snuggles with out friends little 8 week old girl, was fab!
Nothing planned today, so I'm catching up on OBEM, was sobbing at the car park birth.

Hope you are all having a great weekend.

Minibagel · 20/07/2014 12:16

15 weeks today, hooray!

My new top and trousers arrived from new look, but the top looks like a tent on me and weirdly like its a pyjama top. So that is going back. The linen trousers are great though, I bought a size up from normal so they were hanging off me (for now, I'm under no illusions my arse won't be expanding) but they have these great elastic and button tabs on the hips so you can tighten them up for now. Just like they have on some of ds1's trousers.

I have nothing else to add apart from that I hope this hot weather goes away soon. Far too clammy.

15 weeeeeeeeeks. What animal is that again?

ilovelamp78 · 20/07/2014 12:24

Re bump size. With clothes off I think I look pregnant. In my clothes I just look like I've put on some weight round the middle.

Ooh I still need to Google those... prob a bad idea though haha x

Hit the sales today and got some bargains for babypopz Smile

rumisyum · 20/07/2014 18:26

Good colour choice, saras! I'm definitely getting mine 2nd hand (found one near me today!) so will have less choice in that matter. But it's got the tan leatherette handles, so I"m happy. Wink

Just got told that my FIL took a nice highchair off someone's skip in a posh part of his town & cycled home with it strapped to his bicycle. LOL. Only the best bargains for this baby! Grin

What did you get for babypopz? Do share!

I'm finally starting to feel more excited than anxious about this pregnancy working out, you guys. A BABY! A real live, actual baby, everything crossed. Amazing!

That's great luck Rum! I googled joolz and they look lovely. They're quite like the silver cross one I want actually.

Today have got: muslin squares, bibs, bottles, a steriliser, breast milk storers, changing mats and a bath support thing!

Loobyloo893 · 20/07/2014 19:25

Wow rpopz! Getting organised Smile. Most of DSs stuff is stored at my mums so will have to wait a few weeks to get it and sort through It and see what we need. Then I can start buying! Grin

(I'm going to whisper very quietly that I've not been sick since Monday after four weeks of sickness every day. Felt rough today though so hoping it's not returning)

I know! Smile Wanted to capitalise on all the sales that are going on at the minute. Having a slight niggle now that I should've waited for the 20 week scan though... Confused

Bangkokbaby · 20/07/2014 19:42

Hello! It is me that is expecting twins, i'm still here and an avid reader of the threads, just don't post much as i'm often on my phone and hate typing on it! Im also trying to get used to a new laptop, which runs windows 8 - I hate it!!
I have a noticable bump, people are commenting on it, even ones who i haven't told, so I must look pregnant!
We have actually bought our pram already Blush even though its still early. We decided to go for the Phil and Ted Promenade, and I saw a great deal on Kiddicare where it was half price, so couldn't really turn it down. Would have loved the Bugaboo Donkey, had my heart set on it, but we seem to have very narrow doors and it wouldn't fit though. I'm annoyed as I really wanted a parent facing buggy, but nevermind!

Saras and Henrietta I am also really spotty! My skin feels like one big oilslick! Have you found anything that helps?
I have always struggled with my skin, but it had got a bit better in the past few years, feel like i'm back in my teens again, what with the acne and all my mood swings!
When does the 'glowing' part of pregnancy start!!?

Ikkleme · 20/07/2014 20:13

:-( major constipation bowl of all bran for tea yum!

KatnissEvermean · 20/07/2014 20:20

I am another one who has developed a spotty face, to go with my dry arms and legs. I've ordered some of the virgin shea butter for the scaly bits, but if anyone has any recommendations for my pizza face I'd be grateful!

RPopz, you are so organised! Our spare room is full of junk we're trying to eBay to make room for baby, so we're trying to hold off on buying too much stuff just yet.

Rumisyum, glad to see your FIL is spoiling the baby already, haha! Well spotted by him.

15 weeks today!

Camsie30 · 20/07/2014 20:28

I popped into tk maxx today and they had lots of great stuff: changing bags, swaddlers, muslins, grow bags, bottles... Will definitely go back in a few months to stock up. They don't seem to do maternity clothes though which is a shame.

Pea wise I'm pretty much set on the Uppababy Vista. Still need to try it out but have asked lots of people and everyone that has one seems to love it. They do it in a gorgeous sage green colour. Luckily one of my friend's parents own a baby store and have said that they'll look after me....
Telling work tomorrow.... Eeeek!
Hope everyone gets decent sleep in this heat xxx

Welcome back bangkok! We missed you! Have you joined our fb page?

Don't worry spots here too :/

RPopz · 20/07/2014 20:38

We don't really have anywhere to keep the stuff either tbh... still waiting on the plasterer coming to sort the spare bedrooms out so one can become the nursery. It's all piled in our room at the min!

No tips for pizza face unfortunately... Mine looks horrendous tonight!! But am also prone to excema on my eyelids so can't really use much on my face.

Good to see you Bangkok Smile

Saraswati · 20/07/2014 20:56

I use ren products for my face, still spotty but their clay cleanser is really good and doesn't dry out my skin like other acne face washes. Plus their stuff is all natural and don't use any nasties. I've found other acne stuff just gives me eczema which is counter productive.

I have a gp appointment tomorrow because I have these weird perfectly round eczema type patches on my legs that have appeared. I thought ringworm at first (nice) but I've had that before and it's different, guess I'll find out tomorrow! Hopefully it's not something to worry about. I seem to be irrationally anxious about everything at the moment :s

RPopz · 20/07/2014 21:11

Sounds like discoidal eczema Saras . I used to get it on my arms and legs. Hydrocortisone should sort it - if it's safe for pg? Not found out yet as eczema has been fairly well. behaved so far.

Saraswati · 20/07/2014 21:20

Thanks rpopz just googled and it looks like that! I have eczema but never in that shape! Must be a weird preggo thing. Will ask the gp about hydrocortisone tomorrow, I hate using it normally and I'm not sure if it's safe in pregnancy. My other patches have been kept under control by copious amounts of Shea butter, DH says it's like going to bed with a slippery eel!! :D
