Onwards into the 2nd trimester, where hopefully the bumps will overtake the poo factories!

Hi frazzles, you have the same due date as me!
Omg, what a horrendous day I'm having. I have one year old twins in today, they have been tag team crying and screaming all day! Thankfully they are finally asleep, I think it's just too hot for them. Roll on 5 pm, oh how I wish I could crack open a bottle of wine tonight!

My second hand Caboo has arrived!! It is a thing of beauty Smile Bugger knows how it goes on though haha!!

Dec2013mummy · 25/07/2014 19:07

Thanks Cheshire. Well we have money off and they offered the same for ours that we sold it for (but don't have to pay the agents :) ) we have also got flooring, turf and they are paying all 3% stamp duty so I didn't think we had done to badly. Went to rant and the sales lady said that the other plot won't have stamp duty paid etc. To be honest I don't know why it was up for more as it is far more overlooked than the one that we are going for. She is going to see what she can do so we shall see!! :) so fed up if house selling etc to be honest!

rumisyum · 25/07/2014 19:47

Exciting Rpopz! Now you just need the adorable baby to put in it. Smile

Glad you guys enjoyed that birth story as much as I did. Hilarious! Grin

I've done it, I've committed. I've signed up for my preggo yoga classes & have the first one tomorrow. I hope I enjoy it!

It's with great sadness that I'm having to jump off the bus. I hope you all have smooth, calm, complication free pregnancies and for those who don't I hope you are all surrounded with the love and support needed so that every choice is open to you and have the confidence to follow your heart what ever the news.

Dec2013mummy · 25/07/2014 22:51

Oh no Beth I'm so sorry :-( look after yourself Thanks

Well I've just read through and caught up with the thread. I can't believe it moves so quickly! Rpopz I think it's just thee and me working like dawgs Wink
Mummyk8 & Vivi I'm chuckling at your name stories!

Is everyone who wants in on the FB group in now? I've been periodically checking Jan Babies and think I have added everyone but if not give me a nudge or a pm. I'm not getting much time to post on here but if you pm me I get a notification!

We are in a hotel in Sheffield tonight ahead of a family gathering tomorrow and I'm not sleeping in The Hardest Bed In The World. After a 3h45 journey to get here yesterday (should have been closer to 1h45) and now this torture my back is not feeling great! Poor bump isn't well supported either which doesn't help. moan moan.

Vivi I hope your mum is feeling better soon. Whooping cough is the pits.

And Mummyk8 keep taking it easy!

Welcome to the new lady with the long name I can't remember because I'm posting on my phone (sorry) and welcome back to the Feb ship-jumper lady. It's much better here Wink Grin

18+1 eeeeep nearly half way!!!!

ChineseFireball · 26/07/2014 03:43

MsFrazzles I've sent you a fb friend request from Jan Babies so hopefully I can add you to the fb group - it wouldn't let me do it when I tried just now.

Dec2013mummy · 26/07/2014 04:00

Chinese I hope you're getting some sleep now. My mattress is rubbish and I was just thinking I really either need to replace it or get a mattress topper. Unfortunately moving house just costs too much money to even think about that right now (plus the fact I have been on maternity for 8 months... First full pay next week hopefully :) ) and will be again oh so soon!!
Chinese I have just noticed your in worcestershire (well Sheffield at the mo but you know). Anyways, me too :) it's not that bigger county really! It's crazy to think you could live just down the road!

Dec2013mummy · 26/07/2014 04:01

Oh my gosh! Grammar.... I meant you're! I blame my phone! Sorry :)

Camsie30 · 26/07/2014 05:57

Chinese I'd like to join the FB group, if I message you my name will you add me? X

Saraswati · 26/07/2014 06:32

I'm so sorry to hear that beth, I hope you have lots of support in rl Thanks

I'm the same as you chinese 18+1 and almost halfway, it's very exciting/scary, time is flying now and I have so much to do before Jesus arrives!

Didn't sleep very well last night as DH was out, it got to 5am and he wasn't back so I called him, no answer, sent him a few angry texts then got up for a wee only to find him sprawled on our sofa. Apparently he came in hours ago but decided to sleep on the sofa as he'd had a few and knows I can't stand the smell of alcohol at the moment. So he's woken up to angry preggo texts from me, whoops! Jumped the gun a bit there...

Yoga in a couple of hours, maybe that'll chill me out a bit teehee

RPopz · 26/07/2014 08:02

Sorry to hear that Beth - you've been through so much recently!! Hope you can take some time out from everything to pick yourself up and start again. Brew Thanks Brew X

ViviPru · 26/07/2014 08:32

Oh no so sad to hear Beth is leaving us Sad Thanks

Shallan · 26/07/2014 08:42

Good morning everybody. I haven't posted in ages - was on the earlier threads but started to get a bit overwhelmed/freaked out by the whole thing so decided to keep quiet. I've been following the news though - lovely to see so many good results on the NT etc., and impressed by how organised you all are with choosing prams and everything!

We're quite superstious, so we're not buying anything until after the 20 weeks scan, just in case, but we have booked for the Bumpfest so hoping to meet some of you there.

I'm also reading first time parent by Lucy Atkins, which I'd really recommend for any other first-timers (will add it to the spreadsheet when next on the laptop).

Hope everybody has a good Saturday.

Shallan · 26/07/2014 08:42

Ps I'm 17 plus 1.

Loobyloo893 · 26/07/2014 08:43

So sorry to hear that Beth. Thinking of you Thanks

I was up half the night too Sara. DS woke at 2 being sick. He'd tucked himself up in his duvet and think he just got too hot. So I spent the rest of the night not sleeping well, listening out for him. DH went straight back to sleep. Men! Lol.

15+3

Loobyloo893 · 26/07/2014 08:46

Welcome back shallan.

cheshirem2b · 26/07/2014 10:15

Morning all.

So sorry to hear about you leaving us Beth - look after yourself and get all the support you need Thanks

After 10hr sleep im feeling pretty good today! Off on date day with dh (if he gets out of bed).

Got told yesterday I look pg now! Yay! I think I'm only pg in evening and just fat in morning but never mind.

Have a nice Saturday ladies!

17+2

mummyk8 · 26/07/2014 13:21

Beths Thinking of you x

I woke up this morning and washed up last nights dinner things and made the beds and the whole time I had a really heavy pressure type feeling in my lower abdomen. It was awful but went as soon as I lay down. Same thing happened again when I packed DS a packed lunch for thing in the park with his friends today. Now feeling stupidly worried about doing anything other than going to the bathroom. I'm not bleeding or leaking amniotic fluid as far as I can tell and I don't feel like I'm going into early labour from what I remember so thats a good thing. I have my 16 week midwife appointment Monday at the local birthing centre so thinking I should hold off going to the hospital unless this becomes worse. Wishing the next 20 weeks away... it's going to a long ride. :(
