Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 10th grads thread...celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed Grin

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

There is a stats thread here but its a zombie thread so enter at your own risk....... eeeeek

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 26th outing!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal here once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a secret facebook group, if you want to join, Pm me!

So, roll call below please, viroids! Smile

Jeez cookie you are having the worst time of it. Thanks for you. I am waiting for doctor to phone me about this bloody thrush. Hoping they're not going to make me go in for an examination.

cookielove · 11/08/2014 10:20

Oooh wil I had thrush early pregnancy they only examined me because I asked them to! They should just give you a prescription!

Argh to add insult to injury, the wrong antibiotics have given me thrush!

wilmabedrock · 11/08/2014 11:19

Oh no cookie! You just need this baby to be born! Yeah they just gave me a prescription thank goodness.

FurryScoob · 11/08/2014 13:39

Oh wil & cookie hope you both get your itchy bits sorted quickly

juni hope your enjoying your last day at work & bitchy colleagues behaving herself.

zyla your cat looks very comfy & cute hugging its paper.

We spent the weekend painting the nursery, just waiting for carpet fitting tomorrow & it's done! Can't wait to get all the baby stuff in one room instead of it being spread out all over the house.

cookielove · 11/08/2014 13:54

I am so argh! Tmi but wiped and huge pinky yellow pant snot/mucus was on the tissue, just wiped again and it is pale pink!

wilmabedrock · 11/08/2014 14:29

Have you used the canestan pessary cookie as apparently that can cause that? Phone the midwife?

Minion · 11/08/2014 16:32

cookie what is going on with your lady bits! You're having a proper bad time of it x
Work on nursery has started as of yesterday, removing the humongous built in effort of a wardrobe the former dope of an owner put in. Nails, screws, plaster everywhere. But it's finally down and we can start peeling off the wallpaper on the ceiling (don't ask, the place is covered in the stuff).
Belly has started to visibly move now, love that and I can tell when a kick is just about to happen, almost feels like my little eggplant does a run up, kinds of stirring feelings followed by a kick.
So nice.
How's everyone doing?

cookielove · 11/08/2014 18:00

In hospital in pain having tightenings!

Sorry to hear about all the itchy fanjos Sad Natural yoghurt and tampons used to work for me.. not sure if tampons are ok in pg tho??

Wil he won't allow it in the house for stupid superstitious reasons which my mother is totally encouraging.... Angry I really don't want my beautiful new pram gathering dust in her mucky house for next 5 months!! (Harsh... but so True... Hmm )

Didn't get the job... Can't decide if I'm arsed or not....

RPopz · 11/08/2014 18:02

Oooh Cookie I did wonder if it was your "show"!!! Is it majorly early for that???

ZylaB · 11/08/2014 18:12

Ooh cookie hope you're ok sounds like you've been having a tough time of it! hugs

rpopz sorry to hear about the job! they don't know what they're missing!

ZylaB · 11/08/2014 18:25

So went for scan and nifty bloods today, saw baby, heard heartbeat and she said it all looked good, heard heartbeat at 170 boom, just got to wait 2 weeks for the blood test results. She also said I was measuring 10+4 not 10+0 like I thought, but I'm not going to change EDD until after my 12 week scan at the hospital 2 weeks on wed.

:)

ZylaB · 11/08/2014 18:26

Bpm not boom!

RPopz · 11/08/2014 18:44

Haha Zyla you are a scan hog! Wink Do you get copies of all the pics?

Meh, more responsibility at this point would probably have been horrendous. But unfortunately these promotions are like rocking horse shit. Ah well x

Nessalina · 11/08/2014 18:46

Good grief Cookie it sounds a bit like the real deal going on there Shock I thought the pant snot you described sounded a bit like a 'show'... Well hope all is ok and it's just a delighful reaction to the antibiotics etc Keep us posted!!!

Zyla - glad the scan was good! Smile Only two weeks til you find out the sex - exciting!!

Sympathies on the thrush Wil - last thing you need!

I'm looking at the Uppababy Vista or the iCandy I think, because they can both convert to tandem, though the Cosetto Giggle is super cool too (but only for one!). Can't decide if it's a bit presumptuous to get a buggy based on our future fictional child, or if it's just sensible! Just wondering also, you know they say not to get second hand car seats - it's ok to reuse your first car seat with second sprog, right?!

ZylaB · 11/08/2014 18:49

rpopz yes we have copies :)

ness we love the uppababy vista! think that's what we're getting :)

Nessalina · 11/08/2014 18:58

The only problem I have with it is that the Rumble seat that you can attach for child 1 to use when child 2 comes along doesn't recline, and can't be used at the same time as the carrycot, so there's a six month window with child 2 where you can't have them in the buggy unless it's the car seat which isn't ideal...
I like the iCandy Apple2Pear a lot, but the seats look v.flimsy to me... I think they're supposed to be 'streamlined' lol. Much better with two sprogs though! Ooh. It's tricky!

JuniDD · 11/08/2014 19:13

OMG, hope you're ok cookie lovely. Your EDD is 23 Sept right? So if it's the real thing a bit early. And also sorry that the wrong drugs made you so ill/in pain. Not very good.

zyla your cat is very cute.

minion I love seeing it move my belly, particularly as it means it's not tap dancing on my bladder anymore! Wink

The pushchair chat is making me nervous that we've chosen badly! But then half the time I think we don't need one as we hardly seem to go out at the moment!

Well, that was my last day at work! It went off pretty nicely although I spent so much time clearing up I know I'll feel like I was hit by a bus tomorrow. It's a weird old feeling so looking forward to settling into being at home. We've got Lazy Daisy couples' workshop on Sunday so that'll be good to focus back on to the baby etc.

ZylaB · 11/08/2014 19:26

Glad last day went well juni enjoy having some time to sort things!

cookielove · 11/08/2014 20:40

Little update: on the labour ward, they are trying to get the contractions to stop, had steroids to help his lungs (ow) and I will be stuck here for at least 48 hrs!

Zyla lovely scan!

RPopz · 11/08/2014 21:03

Oh Cookie!! Hope you are home and not contracting before you know it!! This boy is obviously desperate to meet you Smile xxx Thanks Thanks

JuniDD · 11/08/2014 21:06

FX cookie. Are you ok? Hope you're doing ok physically & mentally. Sounds very worrying. What a week you've had. I hope little boy stays put for a while.

Nessalina · 11/08/2014 21:14

Fx crossed that the clever drugs are doing their work Cookie! Hope you're feeling ok xxx

This is making me feel like I should get my hospital bag ready sooner rather than later! Shock

Hurray for last day Juni! Smile God I can't wait for mine! just 28 days to go

Got my whooping cough vaccine tomorrow Confused

wilmabedrock · 11/08/2014 22:02

Hope all is ok cookie, will be thinking of you. Thanks Thanks

Ness I think the buggy situation depends on how close together you want to have your kids. MiniWil will be 2 1/2 when baby arrives and I think I can get away without bothering with the double. But if you want them 18m apart or less then you'll probably need a double.

juni you won't have made a bad choice. All these things that we obsess over now will seem so unimportant after having the baby. As long as you can put the buggy up and down easily you honestly won't care what you've bought.

Good news on scan zyla. I wish I felt more confident about mine. Also having pessary paranoia after using thrush treatment Grin .

Sorry about the job popz. Do you know who got it?
