cookielove · 13/07/2014 19:23

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 10th grads thread...celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed Grin

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

There is a stats thread here but its a zombie thread so enter at your own risk....... eeeeek

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 26th outing!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal here once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a secret facebook group, if you want to join, Pm me!

So, roll call below please, viroids! Smile

PM me with your real name and Facebook email address and I'll sort it. :-)

ZylaB · 21/07/2014 21:37

Eugh. Why do pregnacare vitamins taste so bad?!

Purplecircle · 21/07/2014 22:03

I've got caffeine withdrawal headache, and I'm worn out.
Clairvoyant told me I'd be pregnant within 3 months. That was 6 weeks ago. She also was reasonably convinced I'll have twin girls!
Twins don't run in the family but I'm 40 with PCOS and icing has been erratic to say the least , so it could happen

JuniDD · 21/07/2014 22:34

Er zyla, you're not meant to chew them! Grin.

I had to stop with the fish oil ones, the fishy burps made me feel so sick.

Yay for team surprise minion. Glad all was ok at the scan.

I am six months today...time is flying.

Did I say congrats purple? Smile

Pisghetti · 21/07/2014 22:43

Were you taking the fish oils for omega acids Juni ? Just wondering as I'm taking a veggie supplement so no fishy burps has horrible flashback to being given cod liver oil as a child and losing breakfast in the sink Sad

JuniDD · 21/07/2014 23:04

yes pis, the pregnacare super pro max or summat. My mum is obsessed with them for "brain development" but they made me too sad.

ZylaB · 22/07/2014 06:04

Hehe juni I don't chew them! but they still taste bad!

It's probably linked to my dog's sense of smell currently. Nearly threw up at work yesterday cos someone was cleaning windows with vinegar and water, and I made DH eat his food elsewhere the other night cos he had something different to me and I didn't like the smell of it. Also told DH someone somewhere was having a BBQ over the weekend about half an hour before he could smell it. It's funny, but less so when the smells make me wanna heave.

cookielove · 22/07/2014 09:18

zyla in the beginning I couldn't swallow the pregnecare ones as they smelt and tasted so bad I would also feel really sick after taking them. I swapped to sevenseas multivit much nicer to take.

Only in the last couple of weeks I've managed to take the pregnecare ones and feel much better now. I am 31 weeks.

cookielove · 22/07/2014 18:23

I never realised that I would, have to get good at lying.
Told my boss I've given up midweek booze.
Told the office that I'm cutting back on caffeine cos of stress
Aaaargh! I'm so shit at lying!

ZylaB · 22/07/2014 19:06

Hehe purple :)

Scan tomorrow excited

JuniDD · 22/07/2014 19:11

hehe, to the lying purple. Just be vague!

yay for scan zyla

cookie when you flew did you have to get a drs note? Am stressing now because all my "you are this far along" emails keep saying I can't fly without one but Easyjet just says you're fine to fly til 35 weeks. So which is it?! Flying on Saturday, only to Glasgow but still, don't want to have to stay at home. Sad

DrFunkesFamilyBandSolution · 22/07/2014 20:04

Congrats Min! Boo for shy bits Grin

Hurrah for scan tomorrow Zyla.

I've dropped off every mn thread but willbe here!
19wks, saw physio today & have nhs bump band. Scan next Wednesday!

cookielove · 22/07/2014 20:09

juni I checked with the airline and insurance who both said I didn't need a note till 28 weeks I flew at 25-27 weeks, I almost did just incase they asked, but didn't in the end. It wasn't an issue no one seemed to notice at all!

Nessalina · 22/07/2014 20:10

Evening all! I'm currently wilting in the heat Hmm urgh. Finally got round to joining the FB group though (ta Horace!) - fun to see people IRL! Smile
I've just been trying to video my twitching bump to show DH - you can properly see lil jolts when he moves!! Grin

cookielove · 22/07/2014 20:15

ness i am still trying to get a video of baby, he moves so much and then I get video out and nothing!

OP posts:
Nessalina · 22/07/2014 20:24

Yes! That's what it's like whenever DH tries to feel him moving! He'll be squirming then when DH puts his hand on my belly - nothing!

FurryScoob · 22/07/2014 20:41

Good luck tomorrow zyla

Just returned from another 3 hour hospital visit after another bleed. Still no idea where it's come from but as it wasn't a lot i got to come home again. It's like an oven in that place, DP got bored & started using the giant paper towel roll as a light sabre, sometimes feels like I've already got 1 child!

Hope you surviving in hospital horace 3 hours was long enough in there today!

ZylaB · 22/07/2014 20:49

Glad it's ok scoob

And yes, I'd hate to imagine a ward in this heat..

wilmabedrock · 22/07/2014 20:53

Oh scoob that's not so good. Glad it's stopped but not nice not to have answers. Hope all is ok.

Juni maybe best to phone airline to double check? Such a short flight though so I can't see them worrying.

I'm loving the heat - although I do concede maybe it's not as hot here.

Can anyone tell me if they'll get the doppler out at 16 week check up?

Good luck tomorrow zyla.

RPopz · 22/07/2014 20:55

I think it depends on where you live Wil I've got mine on Thursday so can let you know Wink

wilmabedrock · 22/07/2014 21:17

Ooh fab thanks. If I ask then hopefully they won't say no. Maybe need to work on a good reason.

RPopz · 22/07/2014 21:38

It seems from the Jan Fred that some places do it routinely at 16wks, but other places won't as it can be difficult to find before 20 weeks and therefore worrying for the mother. Is my impression anyway!

ChatEnOeuf · 22/07/2014 21:43

Ooh hello viroids. Just popped over to the antenatal club boards and found some familiar 'faces' Smile I'm now 6/40 with sore boobs and vague cramping. Quite dizzy quite a lot of the time too.
