Ooh ismarah x post!! Congrats to you too :) glad all went well.

BlueC2 · 30/06/2014 12:35

We might need to update the list at some point to see who's graduated and which of us are still waiting...anyone know where the latest list is?

ItsAlwaysBetterOnHoliday · 30/06/2014 12:41

It's all happening today! Glad to have some exciting news :)

Congratulations ismarah and biscuits!

(At this rate will there be more July babies born in June than July??)

ItsAlwaysBetterOnHoliday · 30/06/2014 12:44

Oh and I'm ok blue, thanks, just bored waiting for the doctor to see me now I'm off the monitor. Having a few pains below but am assuming that's just the good old BHs again.

fifi669 · 30/06/2014 12:56

ismarah and biscuits congratulations! Today is a popular day!

BlueC2 · 30/06/2014 13:00

Glad you're ok its I've decided I don't like BHs as they're just an inconvenience and baby doesn't like them either! Much prefer the real thing or none at all thank you!

Just had my Dad on the phone... He lives 3+ hours drive away but has decided he's not seen me for ages so going to pop down for the day tomorrow! Clearly feels the need to check up on his eldest daughter before she goes into labour! His second eldest daughter is also expecting due in September so it's all go for him at the moment! Now to decide whether to keep DS home from the childminders so that Dad can see him tomorrow or leave him put so that I have an easier day?!

mupperoon · 30/06/2014 13:20

Congratulations and hurrahs for Becky, ismarah and biscuits!

I'm not due until 29 July - doubt there'll be anyone left in this club by then!

Can I just say that everyone on this thread seems to have massive amounts more energy or just gumption than me, even if still working/already a mum/insomniac. I've been on mat leave for a month and even a 15 min walk to Tesco feels like a major expedition. I can't imagine going to the gym or doing a day's proper work. I did some light admin prep for my year end accounts the other day and had to sleep about 12 hours to get over it. How do you all do it???

I CANNOT WAIT to have the body and the energy to go running again. (And the jogging stroller).

Plateofcrumbs · 30/06/2014 13:33

Congratulations ismarah and jbiscuits. You make ELCS seem appealing ismarah!

GrouchyKiwi · 30/06/2014 14:18

Congratulations biscuit and ismarah! Hope you're both recovering well with your little ones.

It's all happening now!

GrouchyKiwi · 30/06/2014 14:21

Thanks for the idea re membrane sweep, zing. I'll try to remember to bring that up with MW at my next appointment.

Sorry that I can't remember what everyone else has posted. Hope you're all ok & happy.

Finally have started nesting (feels a bit late at 36 weeks). It's good timing as we get new flooring tomorrow so have to move everything out of the living room. I've spent the last two days shifting books, etc and some big things I shouldn't have touched so feeling tired but want to do more. There's plenty to do!

BlueC2 · 30/06/2014 15:37

mupperoon if it's any consolation I feel like a snail today :) just so so tired. Trying gently to sort some stuff out whilst I haven't got DS and am just exhausted! Tried having a nap but couldn't sleep :( Be great to see my Dad tomorrow but it does wipe out a day I could do with for gently getting stuff sorted!

liquidstatehasrisenagain · 30/06/2014 16:06

Am sulky as have no baby yet! Induction on Friday I did ask DH to keep schtum but am now receiving good luck emails from random friends of his family. Not impressed.

MrsA2 · 30/06/2014 16:13

Congrats Ismarah and biscuit, it's all go now, exciting.

Liquid, that's frustrating - I'm the same hoping we can get the baby here without too many people knowing but not sure my husband will manage it...

ItsAlwaysBetterOnHoliday · 30/06/2014 16:21

OK, so that was all a bit of a palaver. After initially saying they didn't th think I needed the anti D, they then decided I did, so I had to wait around for that. And they had to take blood first, which took 3 attempts thanks to my rubbish veins. So I now have 5 plasters over various bits of my body Blush. And now I've just got home and found some light brown spotting on my pad... which I'm assuming is just an after effect of the speculum exam? Anyone? I really don't want to go back to the hospital... :(

icklekid · 30/06/2014 16:40

Congratulations ismarah and biscuit hope you are both recovering well and enjoying lots of cuddles...bizarre to think in the next couple of weeks that will be me!!!

its I have no knowledge I'm afraid better safe than sorry and to call?

Got back from gym session with physio having also snuck to boots to spend some vouchers to find dh here! Decided to work from home this afternoon...now I feel bad watching Wimbledon and snoozing on the sofa!

ItsAlwaysBetterOnHoliday · 30/06/2014 16:51

Last time I had an internal they warned me this might happen (have just looked back through my notes) so I think I'm going to keep an eye on it for a couple of hours (or at least until DH gets home!) and then call. Know it's better to be safe than sorry but after a whole day in triage really don't want to rush in straight away if it's normal.

ItsAlwaysBetterOnHoliday · 30/06/2014 16:55

Seems to have stopped now anyway. Last time I bled really heavily as they did the exam which was a bit scary.

Plateofcrumbs · 30/06/2014 16:57

its When I had a vaginal exam last week they warned me I might get a bit of spotting afterwards and they were trying to find me a pad to protect my undies just in case. Didn't happen to me though but they made it sound normal. As ever phone if you are worried though!

Just had midwife check and baby remains head down, possibly dropping a little. Whoo! So I might be done with extra checks, consultant appointments etc and can perhaps enjoy last few weeks as a standard preggo tempting fate

ItsAlwaysBetterOnHoliday · 30/06/2014 17:02

Thanks plate and ickle. Think will just keep an eye on it for now. Going to join you in that snoozing ickle.

Glad baby plate is still head down!

BlueC2 · 30/06/2014 17:18

Sorry-minor rant alert! Just spent half an hour on hold trying to get through to hmrc only to be told the letter I sent 2 weeks ago STILL hasn't been logged on their system let alone actioned-how long can it take?!! So looks as though I won't be getting any mat allowance in July at this rate :( such a pain!!

icklekid · 30/06/2014 17:31

That is ridiculous blue have you got proof of sending in order to get them to make it urgent - how frustrating that you won't be getting maternity allowance when due- will you get it later (larger aug payment?)

BlueC2 · 30/06/2014 19:04

ickle thankfully It will get back-dated just means we've got to start on our savings and then pay ourselves back when it comes through! Would've just preferred it all totally sorted before baby comes as I know I will struggle to remember to chase it all once baby here! V irritating! They've put a note on the system saying it's urgent once logged but the guy said their standard time to look at stuff is 25 days which is just ridiculous! And it's only because I chased up DWP on the mat allowance that I found there was a problem as the letter they'd sent out has never arrived! Nothing ever simple eh?!

Any news from mixi ? Hope all's ok!

ZingWhale · 30/06/2014 19:29

becky, ismarah & biscuits

Congratulations x 3! Thanks Thanks Thanks well done all of you, a proper baby shower! yay!Smile Smile Smile

Phew at least you won't be out of pocket blue however realise it's very frustrating!

Owch owch owch just in permanent pain at the moment! Braxton hicks, kicks, both, just generally feeling like I'm being beaten up from the inside out!

Dh mum just rang think she was checking I hadn't given birth and forgot to mention it! My parents are on holiday and back tomorrow no doubt will get a similar call tomorrow night...

BlueC2 · 30/06/2014 20:51

ickle I feel your pain-my little one spends a lot of time attacking Mummy from the inside :) which coupled with Braxton Hicks makes for definite discomfort!

Trying to find some energy to do the ironing :( really can't be bothered!
