TMI but I've just been and it was return of the bum-sick!Blush I have no idea what is going on in there. About once a fortnight I get blocked up for a couple of days, feel horrible, then whoosh! Back to the bum-sick.

My diabetic nurse told me yesterday that my blood sugars are going to be high until my body gets past the stress of ms. Obviously this is why I'm still taking double the insulin. I just wish it would bog off now get it? Bog off!

hanflan · 26/06/2014 15:35

Pregnancy is glamorous, isn't it?!

freneticfox · 26/06/2014 15:59

Will be stopping by Tesco on my way home for moist tissues.

What a word. Moist.

toots123 · 26/06/2014 16:17

Thats what happened to my bloatedness. Bum sick yesterday. Ah the joys.... so glamorous!!!

PolytheneGirl · 26/06/2014 16:26

Well I have just flown completely off the handle with DH for pretty much no reason other than I feel exhausted again

I'm now having a lie down and a cry. I really don't know why I'm so grumpy and emotional today Confused I thought I was feeling better after going to the loo but obviously not. Sad

fancyacupoftea · 26/06/2014 16:28

Moist tissues and a water slide vag - you're outdoing yourself today frenetic! Wet 'n' wild.

Those with a bunged up bum - get yourself to pharmacist for lactulose. It isn't a sprinting-to-the-loo laxative it's gentle (and preggo safe) but it does make me fart a lot during the day.

New date is 3rd Jan. I've so far had 2nd, 5th, 6th and 8th too so I think I'll have a due week instead of due date.

I almost bought baby clothes but they were out of stock. Serves me right really.

lindamagoo · 26/06/2014 18:23

So the shop assistant in my local shop said to me "Linda I think you are having a girl this time! When you were pregnant with the boys you positively glowed right up until the end but this time you look like shit." Well thank you very much bitch Angry lol

fancyacupoftea · 26/06/2014 18:40

Hahaha Linda! Silly cow!

Well I think I ate that pizza and salad without stopping for breath.

What has everyone else had/having for tea?

PolytheneGirl · 26/06/2014 18:50

The mood I'm in today Linda I'd probable have gone all Hulk on her! Angry Preggo Rage Hulk, imaging the devastation!

We're having pizza and salad too but It shall be neither takeaway or home made Sad because I'm so exhausted and we may have had takeaway the past two nights Hmm Blush

I've just sent DH out on a Stilton and pickled onion run! He better come back with both! AngryAngryAngry

I've just remembered what an utter mess and vile tempered bitch I was for the entire of the second trimester last time Shock I hope I'm not going to be so awful this time! I actually moved out for 10 week because I was scared I was going to kill DH. That's no exaggeration. I only moved back in when I became worried I was going to kill my mother which seemed worse Confused

MademoiselleG · 26/06/2014 19:09

Gosh Linda , seriously, some people should just remember to shut up.

Didn't see your question earlier fancy : I bough some lovely floaty black trousers with draw-string waist, gathered at the ankle, a very floaty cream top with lace detail, perfect to conceal the growing bump (which I now definitely don't want students to notice) and a lovely kimono-type thing. Wore top and kimono at work today with skinny black (maternity) trousers and got loads of compliments... I'll take anything to make me feel a bit better!

I felt really down last night getting ready for bed and seeing how big my bump is. It just seems so cruel that I have to continue to grow a baby who will most certainly not make it but that I am still not allowed to drown my sorrows in a bucket of gin ...

Please inspire me for dinner. I feel pukey and lazy. Currently considering cereal or toast!

fancyacupoftea · 26/06/2014 19:15

Oooh your clothes sound lovely. I really want a kimono top. Nice and drapey.

I reckon toast for main and cereal for pudding!

I'm still so sad about the position you're in and I can't even begin to imagine what you're going through. I'm really hoping this 2 weeks goes by really quickly.

MademoiselleG · 26/06/2014 19:29

Thanks fancy - so am I. Although today I feel quite insensitive - I've not really cried, I am telling myself that I don;t care and that it's not even a real baby yet. Defence mechanism I guess. Dh is in pieces though. He has finally accepted that it won't go away by just ignoring it and has read up about it / googled / looked at pictures / read blogs etc. He is a mess. It is extremely strange having to support him when he is normally my absolute rock.

I guess at least it s bringing us closer...

MademoiselleG · 26/06/2014 19:31

Ps: having coco pops for starters.

lindamagoo · 26/06/2014 19:39

Told oh what she said and he chose the safe option! He left the room, lol. Made your new clothes sound lovely, I do hope these 2 weeks fly by for you

fancyacupoftea · 26/06/2014 19:43

Don't feel guilty about trying to separate yourself from it - you're right, it is a defence mechanism but it's there for a reason and that's to help you cope.

Mmmm coco pops.

fancyacupoftea · 26/06/2014 19:43

I've got a sore throat. I reckon I've worked too hard with too little sleep over the past few days and now am run down. Send tea.

MademoiselleG · 26/06/2014 19:50

Dd just boiling her toy kettle for you as we speak!

RetroHippy · 26/06/2014 20:18
Brew

Your outfit sounds lovely Mlle. I am in awe of how you are handling this. There's no way that you know how you'll handle anything like this until you get there. Sounds like you and your DH are experiencing perfectly normal reactions, and you sound like you have a really strong relationship.

I have to wear my PE kit tomorrow. If I can find one that fits Blush

Cooked two salmon fillets this evening, one for dinner, one to have in lunch with salad. I then ate them both.

I seem to have had a sudden burst of energy this evening, so I decided to use it to make blueberry and choc banana muffins Grin now got a stash of cake for when the cravings hit.

toots123 · 26/06/2014 20:19

We had cheesy pasta for dinner haha

Linda what a cheeky cow!!

the cats in the huff cause we put flea treatment in her coat. Shes clearly treated badly here huh...

MademoiselleG · 26/06/2014 20:33

Suddenly realised I totally outed myself if anyone from euro is on this thread or lurking

I don't know if I'm handling it well. I welled up a few times at with today but mostly, I'm just trying not to think about it whilst also researching about it as much as possible so I know what questions to ask on the 7th. I think it's because it still seems so far away. With the initial shock 'over', all there is left to do now is...wait...........

Watching OBEM in bed. Yay! (Dh doesn't get why I'd want to watch it)

MademoiselleG · 26/06/2014 20:34

From euro?! From WORK!

Spotti · 26/06/2014 20:38

No tea in the Spotti household...really hungry but really CBA to cook anything (and there's bugger all in the fridge that I can just grab and eat). Hmph. Really fancying cheesy pasta and garlic bread now you've mentioned it toots...

Still sending big hugs your way mademoiselle. Fx that it's good news at the end of your two week wait (feels ironic saying that over hear on the A/N boards). >>>squeeze

Gosh Spotti, if you weren't preggers already, I'd say that you sound broody Grin

fancyacupoftea · 26/06/2014 21:22

Nope. Nothing to see here. Definitely did not just buy a load of baby shit.

Treaclepie19 · 26/06/2014 21:29

Glad your scan went well fancy :)
