I'm making DH watch it too Toots

Eeeek I'm excited for you Fancy . Can't wait to see your pic!

Talking of Chillies...... Are you out there Chillychicken ? I miss you!

fancyacupoftea · 25/06/2014 21:58

Yes Chillychicken where are you? Come back! Hope everything is okay.

I'll be interested to see how much it's changed in a week Poly! Just trying to be very sensible though as they're doing the tests so don't want to assume all is well just because they didn't mention anything last week.

Treaclepie19 · 25/06/2014 22:01

Good luck tomorrow fancy :)

PolytheneGirl · 25/06/2014 22:03

Fancy I know exactly where you're coming from but I'm going to stay positive for everyone but obviously I'll keep my fx for you.

SIL has her growth scan tomorrow and my DM is going with her. Talked to DM today and she was so negative I'm worried she is really going to stress SIL out. Worrying!

MundayCakes85 · 25/06/2014 22:06

Ouch to all the heat related stories. My DH got the deep heat mixed up with the canesten cream Blush
Good luck for all the scans tomorrow. FX for you all.

fancyacupoftea · 25/06/2014 22:13

That's why I love this group Poly - despite everything we remain positive!

Fingers crossed for your SIL tomorrow. Text your SIL and tell her she needs to tell your mom to shush if she's negative!

barmybunting · 25/06/2014 22:14

Ouch! I am glad to hear I am not the only daft one who mixes things up though!

I hope your scan goes well tomorrow fancy.

fancyacupoftea · 25/06/2014 22:23

Feeling a bit sick and a bit stressed trying to get this work done and DH came over and tried to kiss me. His hot breath in my nauseous face did not go down well and he was told that. Poor bastard.

PolytheneGirl · 25/06/2014 23:11

I will text her in the morning Fancy I hope you're feeling better and got some of your work done.

Goodnight ladies x

Zermatt · 26/06/2014 05:15

Good luck today for your scan fancy

I totally get where you're coming from melleG I would prefer the decision to be taken out of my hands too. Glad going back to work helped bring back some normalcy and took your mind off things for a bit. We're all hear for you xx

frenetic it sounds like your gramps had a fittingly beautiful send off, as others have said just remember that and ignore all the family crap.

poly could it be that they've decided to just combine your appointments in the one to save you having to go to both?

barmy your deep heat debacle made me laugh, hope that your not sore anymore! I've lots count of the times I've had chili eye (or like fancy chili nether regions) or accidentlu sprayed hair spray under my arms first thing in the morning. Can only guess that what with the much fabled "Preggo brain* I'll be putting olive oil on my cornflakes and brushing my teeth with shampoo by the time this baby is born.

I'm sat in the doctors waiting room for my 14 wk appointment. Bladder is shot, each time I see I instantly need to go again. But apart from that feeling quite good.

Zermatt · 26/06/2014 05:17

Pee not see

MademoiselleG · 26/06/2014 07:10

Good luck fancy, I'll be thinking of you and eagerly awaiting your update! Statistically you're probably ok as I've taken the '1 in 1000' odds for the team Shock .

The novelty of going back to work has worn off. At least I impulse bought new clothes yesterday and what to show them off Smile

toots123 · 26/06/2014 08:04

Good luck fancy! Will look out for your update

I noticed yesterday my bloated belly had went down slightly. Not by much but means I can fit into work trousers that before were only slightly too big. Hoping all is fine in there

have a good day all!

lindamagoo · 26/06/2014 08:10

Good luck today fancy Smile

PolytheneGirl · 26/06/2014 08:46

Good luck Fancy Smile

PolytheneGirl · 26/06/2014 09:14

I don't know what's wrong with me today, I've been in tears twice already. I wish I could go back to bed. Sad

freneticfox · 26/06/2014 09:31

Good luck today fancy, hope all goes well!

I'm a new level of tired today, assume it's from an emotional day yesterday. I've also realised that my two 'scan' appointments aren't for the same thing, one's a dating scan and the other is an appointment with a consultant because I'm under consultant care. Derp.

lindamagoo · 26/06/2014 09:36

Aw big hugs poly x

Finally got a sleep last night, Jayden's chickenpox seem to be clearing up, thank god, it's horrible seeing his gorgeous wee face/body covered in them Hmm

sazzlehopes · 26/06/2014 10:13

Good luck today Fancy.
Poly hope your day gets better x

Threnody · 26/06/2014 10:57

Mademoiselle glad work yesterday helped you. Completely understand what you mean about the choice.

Retro - sorry your week has been so crap - hope it improves!

Poly - rubbish your scan has been messed about - and FX for your SIL. Hope you feel better, I've been crying at all sorts of things lately - tv programmes, songs, random things on the internet.

frenetic - glad your Grandad's send off was good - as others have said, just forget the family stuff!

fancy - good luck with the scan today!

Thanks for all the funny stories - really cheered me up this morning! Feeling a bit bloaty - nothing to do with the big bag of popcorn I scoffed last night.

fancyacupoftea · 26/06/2014 11:04

My full bladder and I are on our way to the hospital. Will let you know when we finish.

Sorry about your crappy morning Poly

Linda good news about the chicken pox getting better!

Mademoiselle hope work is okay today. What new clothes did you get?

toots is it a bloat reduction? Mine fluctuates by the day!

Zermatt · 26/06/2014 11:39

My bloat is always worse at the end of the day

freneticfox · 26/06/2014 11:45

I just had routine bloods taken and I went all woozy; that's never happened to me before! I was so embarrassed I cried.

Zermatt · 26/06/2014 11:47

Ahh fox, hope you're feeling a bit better now, pregnancy can make you a bit more prone to fainting than usual due to all the extra blood flow and work that your bods doing. Sit yourself down with a cup of tea and biccies and you'll feel right again soon.

freneticfox · 26/06/2014 11:51

I went and bought a chocolate bar on my way back to work. TOTALLY acceptable, right?
