Morning sickness.... What a lie! Here come a load more unwanted pregnancy symptoms... Oh but it will all be worth it for our new year bundles :)

Hi Scan all good! No twins! Dated me as 11 + 5 so due on 31 December! Does this mean I need to join the December folk?! If it's ok with you guys I'll stay put! So relieved to see the wee heart fluttering, couldn't stop smiling today Next scan not till 20 weeks in August. Thank you for all the good wishes and glad to hear the other scans went well.

Congrats mrs ! No need to leave, my EDD is 30th dec but I felt more here because the dec thread all seemed so much further ahead!

Welcome emmie- I too have a 14 month old, how on earth you handling things whilst on bed rest too! Poor you, hope you have lots of help.

So nice to hear of all the scans. My EDD was put back 6 days at an early scan and I'm waiting an extra week to go for my dating scan so it is in my annual leave week. It's still over 2 weeks away. Feels like the longest ever trimester!

Yay!! Lovely news in the scans :) can't wait for mine. 10days to go!
Anyone know the % chance of twins? I did have ov pain on boths sides the last 2 times I ovulated. Who knows though. ..I'll just have to wait and see.
Oh, I seem to have lied about thesymptoms going. Ms definitely still here.

So nice to hear the positive scan results. Big congratulations!

I'm 11+1 today My cramps and tummy pain died down yesterday but then the tummy pain and cramps came back and were far worse around 4 this morning. Both DP and my parents are away plus I don't drive with DS to get to school I had no chance of getting to EPU 35 miles away before 9am. Called midwives and they said don't worry and if it gets worse go to EU tomorrow if worse etc... Still wanted to be seen so went to the DR's who had a good poke around. They seem to think I have damaged my hernia repair somehow and that all is ok with baby. Now have the long wait until I get my 12 week scan date through and a long wait for a consultant referral. Trying to relax and not worry to much but it's hard.

Oh mummyk its impossible not to worry, but hopefully you feel some reassurance that there is a logical explanation?

The fact my ms isnt bad (just nausea) makes me think I might be in for the same as last time with ds, where it started at 14 weeks. Yuck. The thing about subsequent pg is you know what might happen, its much nicer to be in the dark about things like ms and birth I reckon!

I have started at the beginning of watching obem, as my pg treat now we've seen the heartbeat. I love that show. I know I'm mad, but I don't relate any of their births with mine, Im just fascinated.

bugaboom I was put back 5d on an early scan but mw there said sim for 12wk scan around 20th... Was offered 19th or 26th... Went for the early date! Heehee! My 20wk (fx) will be when I'm on leave in August though provided my dates still work out.

mummyk8 hope you're ok. Glad your dr saw you and hopefully all is well

My edd is either 1/1/15 or 6/1/15 depending on whether we use my dates (1/1/15) or early scan (6/1/15)! RPoz I'm sure we have a couple of 31 Dec peeps though...

and mummyk8. Hope you're ok soon. Dr must know what he's talking about. It can't be too long till your scan date if you're 11+1 now. Fx.

I am the 1st jan so just on the bus haha.

As more and more go for scans I am sure we will have several more dec ladies. I hvent had my 12 week scan yet- I could be put back too. I was with dd.

I should also add (sorry) I wish to have a caeserean this time around. There for, I will def be a dec lady! As you generally have a caeserean at 39 weeks. (Unless of course my EDD is waaay out)

Thanks for the warm welcome! I work full time so dd is just going to her childcare as usual this week which is allowing me to rest and my husband did almost everything at the weekend! I suffered with ms last time until 16 weeks but have only been sick once so far this time. No other symptoms other than I am constantly hungry! Good luck to all those with scans coming up x

Off to bed to try and relax and get some sleep before tomorrow (yeah right). Scan is first thing at 8am, will report back when i can. Good luck to the others having scans tomorrow - I really hope it's good news for all of us
