Heres another one with a UTI! I didn't even know I had it but the MW rang after my booking apt and said the lab result had come back and I needed antibiotics! Just wish I could remember to take them but 4 a day is pretty heavy going when you're running around after a toddler all day!

Oh I should say hi! Im new to the thread. Im 10 weeks today and scan is 23rd june. So fed up waiting now, haven't had a scan yet this pregnancy so got all the worries niggling in my mind about it all. Got fairly strong symptoms though so I think something is going on in there, I hope!

CallingAllEngels · 10/06/2014 20:40

I'm sure it wasn't until 16 or 17 weeks with ds (will have to look back through mn Grin )

LittlePink · 10/06/2014 20:41

Ah im another one on the 23rd. Mine is at 1.50pm.

Minibagel · 10/06/2014 20:47

6 more sleeps til our scan. I will only be about 9+5 by my dates but you never know, maybe they will date me further along. I really don't think I'm as far along as 11+5 so hopefully if all goes well I'll be heading for a proper 12 week scan 2 weeks later.

I have been curious about whether I would feel movements earlier this time. With ds1 it wasn't until after the 20 week scan because I had an anterior placenta but also just generally being a first time mum and not knowing what I was waiting to feel until I actually saw the little ones limb poking out of my stomach!! Crazy. I will remember that forever.

Anyone taking weekly photos? I don't think I can be bothered!

KeepOnPloddingOn · 10/06/2014 20:57

livvy wow! You too?? I am well jel. Haha.
Aww scan date fwends - awesome :) I am at 1.30pm, so a little while after you :) positive vibes for our day being sent !

KeepOnPloddingOn · 10/06/2014 20:58

mini I took monthly pics with dd, I haven't with this one at though. May do though, I love looking at the pics of my bump grow with dd.

LittlePink · 10/06/2014 20:59

I didn't take weekly pics last time. I just took some every now and then from about 30 weeks ish onwards. I asked DH if I looked like I had a bump last night and he said "umm its hard to tell because theres crease in the middle". I was like yea thanks alot darling! At least that spare tyre around the middle will fill out with baby soon!

gingysmummy · 10/06/2014 21:00

Just tried on a dress I was planning on wearing tomorrow, I have a very noticeable bump! How on earth I'm going to conceal this till my scan on 7th July is anyones guess

EnglishGirlsReturned · 10/06/2014 21:01

I've downloaded a cool app called CineMama - you take pics throughout and it collates them all into a video at the end and lay music over it! I'm going to take one a week from 12 weeks.

fancyacupoftea · 10/06/2014 21:01

I'm going to take photos from 12 weeks I think. I don't think I want to remember this impressive bloat in future...

CallingAllEngels · 10/06/2014 21:14

Just trawled through mn checked and didn't feel flutterings till 17/18 weeks with DS!

blizy · 10/06/2014 21:16

I have a scan in the morning, just a reassurance. I'm only 7+3. My 12 week scan is 14th July, it's ages away!

Hope the UTI ladies are ok? Welcome and congrats to the newbies.

EnglishGirlsReturned · 10/06/2014 21:20

so do I bizy - hopefully will be dated around 7-8 weeks, hoping for closer to 8. Fx for us both

Saraswati · 10/06/2014 21:43

english that app sounds good! I'll have a look for that. I've neglected to take pics but think I will from next week, also my journal only has two entries in it (bad pregnant lady)

Good vibes for scans tomorrow ladies!

RPopz · 10/06/2014 21:55

Ooh weekly pics is a good idea! Bit time consuming though... monthly might work better. Feel pretty fat and disgusting at the mo though so perhaps won't want to be reminded of this trimester haha!

ViviPru · 10/06/2014 22:11

Me neither fancy it's just flabwatch at the moment....

MademoiselleG · 10/06/2014 22:24

Haha for flabwatch GrinGrinGrin

That app is amazing - if it works! I just downloaded it. Very cute.

My 12w scan is on the 23rd too! At 12:00. So many of us on the same day, how exciting!

fancyacupoftea · 10/06/2014 22:30

FLABWATCH! I think at the moment it's more like my flab is watching me. I've had to undo my trousers and it's staring at me telling me to lay off the crisps.

Good luck tomorrow for your scans Blizy and English. I will be checking in to read the good news from them.

ViviPru · 10/06/2014 22:42

Ha! Hilarious. Glad I'm not alone.

All the best with the scans and bonsoir for tonight January crew.

Saraswati · 10/06/2014 22:50

Ha flab watch!! I measured my waist yesterday, it's 4 inches bigger than before yet I've lost half a stone from vomming grrrrr Angry DH said my arms and legs are skinnier which is making my tummy look bigger, I think he was trying to make me feel better then I pointed out I'm 4 inches bigger around the middle and he tried to change the subject!

Got a discount card from my new job today that I can use in mamas and papas, my baby's nursery is going to look like mamas and papas threw up in there! May have made a short list of prams too then deleted it in case I jinx my scan next week...

Happyday24 · 10/06/2014 23:11

Do boobs hurt throughout pregnancy or is it like morning sickness that should finish around 12 weeks? Hmm

happy I don't think so, they're constantly growing and producing milk wtc so it is ongoing (boo!) I suffer with this too.

mademoiselle welcome to the 23rd scan crew ;) haha.

(I'm super excited for all having scans on any day obviously!)

I am deffo downloading the app and love the 'flabwatch' phrase!

I am trying to eat less, as I am ravenous and eating loads and do not want to gain as much as I did the last time! It i so hard though! Dh brought me a burger in last night, after I had demolished a big pasta dish for tea. plus revels for desert

This is awful! Please say I am not alone in being so damn greedy?
