Had a bit of a wobble yesterday in so far as I felt absolutely fine - boobs less hurty, no nausea and managed a full hour at the gym without wilting.

I have put it down to eating more healthily - two days with no crapola biscuits, more fruit and constipation gone.

Nevertheless, Very happy to have woken up feeling sick this morning! I must stop feeling my boobs in public....

Private scan booked for tomorrow.

rumisyum · 11/06/2014 06:48

Flabwatch! LOL. So true! You're not alone, keepon, I've been constantly starving (and eating). I weighed myself the other day and was totally surprised that I'd apparently only gained a couple pounds, but I definitely know my waist (and arse) have noticeably expanded. Fun times.

English I love the sound of that app. Though I too may wait a few more weeks before I start keeping a record of how my body looks. Wink

Good luck to those having scans today! And hurrah for the happy scans yesterday. Smile Lots of sympathy to those of you with UTIs Thanks - on top of all the peeing, that can't be fun! And Shock at those feeling movements already! Blimey, that's amazing. All I've got going on in my pelvis at the moment is twinge city.

Right, off to survive another work day without falling asleep midafternoon. Totes profeshunal. Grin

Dec2013mummy · 11/06/2014 06:53

My scan was booked for the 23rd too... But Dh can't make it so I've had to change it to the 30th :( an extra week to wait :(

Feeling movement? Wow! I thought the foetus was too small for us to feel anything until about 16 weeks for a second and 18/20 fir a first! Off to google...super exciting!

MademoiselleG · 11/06/2014 07:09

Ps: I took a flab photo this morning. 10+1 - slowly creeping up, hurray!

Morning all. Hope you're all not feeling too bad this morning. I'm on my second breakfast of the day as couldn't keep the first one down.

I'll be taking photos, prob from about 12 weeks. I did it with DS and I love looking back at them. They're in an album along with scan photos and the first hospital photo. It's such a nice record of it.

I have booking in appointment this morning. Fingers crossed DS behaves and i can last an hour and a half without eating or being sick!

ilovelamp78 · 11/06/2014 08:05

Keepon I'm obsessed with fruit and bread right now. Before I pg I was definitely a veg and protein girl but gone carb mental. I hadn't eaten pasta in over a year until recently !
Yesterday I bought strawberries, grapes, cherries and watermelon - and I can't stop thinking how nice a bit of pineapple would be ! On The plus side, all this fruit is helping in the toilet department if you know what I mean!

RPopz · 11/06/2014 08:09

How strange. I was always a 5 a day girl before but fruit makes me heave to even think of now!! Carb central at the mo. Hoping the aversion passes cos bean probably needs some nutrients by now!!! Hmm

Fruit bat here too. I've been inhaling those 400g packs of prepared fresh pineapple in a matter of seconds and can't get enough cherries or peaches....

Monstamio · 11/06/2014 08:37

Morning all! Good luck for the scans today English and Blizy - I will be thinking of you both.

11weeks today and our little prawn is now the size of a fig note to self - might need to think of a new nickname!

Finally got my booking appt tomorrow and it's just one week to go til my 12 week scan. Exciting times.

MS really seems to have eased for me this week. Anyone else? Still v bloated though. .. keep pretending to myself that it's a bump but know it's not really!

rumisyum · 11/06/2014 08:51

I've been loving how my body's changing too actually. I've always had a rounded lower belly that used to annoy me before, but now I quite like rubbing my mini-bump. Smile I took a photo this morning too, and was surprised how little it looks like my body's changed compared to my baseline, while I feel so much larger already.

Ditto re fruit obsession, though that's not particularly new for me, so I'm not sure I can blame pregnancy. Wink I always go a bit mental at this time of year when so many of hem come into season. Can't get enough!

I had a massive bowl of muesli topped with nuts & 2 peaches only 90 mins ago and I'm absolutely starving already. I can barely keep up with my appetite at this rate. I'm glad to hear MS is easing for some of you. I feel very lucky not to have been too afflicted!

KeepOnPloddingOn · 11/06/2014 09:30

Both dd and I love grapes and bananas! Other fruit makes me heave. Generally I am totally obsessed with carbs. Totally went off choc, but loving it again now :(

Saraswati · 11/06/2014 09:42

I haven't eaten fruit at all, have been mainly surviving on cheese sandwiches but this morning I had a mega craving for green apples. Bought a bag on my way to work and ate two just walking in. They are so sour, I think I might have another now!! I'm majorly craving sour at the moment, I wonder if that means anything?

I felt sick this morning but didn't throw up for the first time in weeks!! I text DH all excited that I'd managed to get dressed eat breakfast and walk to work without being sick. 11+1 today and I really hope I'm going to start feeling better! I'm still taking my meds, I've got about another weeks worth in the bottle ad really hope I won't be going back for another prescription!

monstamio it might be bump or displaced organs or something? My uterus has moved up more and there is a bumpy bit higher than it which I assume is other stuff it's shoved out the way! I wish I'd taken a pic before the bump appeared but will start weekly pics next week.

haquoi123 · 11/06/2014 10:48

Had a lovely strong heart beat at our scan today, all is going well! How are yours English and blitzy?

Pears for me and ready meal Mac and cheese! Bleurgh!!

sleepisforthetired · 11/06/2014 10:59

Morning!
Had so much to catch up on! Glad scans went well.

Waiting on my scan date still - hoping its soon, as had booking in yesterday.

Midwife is the same one who is attached to my surgery so will see her for all antenatal care.

Bloods done separately in another part of the hospital - which was a pain at the time as the blood clinic didn't open for 2 hours after booking apt had finished - however the guy was great - no bruise this morning which is a first!

Went through my fears and reasoning. MW confirmed I will get extra monitoring and they will keep a close eye in the later weeks, which alleviated some of my concern - but re c/s said I would have to go to some class where they try to change your mind check you are fully informed... we will see how that goes, as biting my nails waiting for the scan to see all is ok so far. Birth can be worried about another day!

Hope you are all feeling ok, and sorry for another epic and whiney post!

HenriettaTurkey · 11/06/2014 11:04

Yeah, I'm on that course too, Sleep Hmm

And when I googled the name of my local hospital and ELCS, it came up with a Daily Fail article, citing it as having only a 5% cs rate - amongst the lowest in the land!

Awesome.

cheshirem2b · 11/06/2014 11:23

Wow! Exciting times for everyone!

I am a fruit fiend at the moment as well - can't get enough of it... Still very slow with the old bowel movements though...!

A week tomorrow until scan day! DH is getting very impatient and wants to tell everyone. Spoke to my nan on the phone yesterday and she asked how my "babies" were and then I realised she meant my two cats! haha! She will cry when she hears the news next week!

Sausage and mash for tea with peas and gravy! I am so craving that today... yummy!

cheshirem2b · 11/06/2014 11:25

I'm not doing weekly bump pictures... not a fan of my flabby stomach to start with - will take bump pics later down the line when there is a proper bump and not just fat! Blush

Loobyloo893 · 11/06/2014 12:00

Had my booking in today. My mw is based in our go surgery. I saw someone I knew waiting to see a doc, so the cats out of the bag. Hopefully she won't say anything to anyone.

Found out today that our local hospital (40mins away) is changing to a midwife led unit only which I can't give birth in because I'm high risk. So now I have to go to a hospital an hour away! That's going to be a fun journey whilst in labour!

EnglishGirlsReturned · 11/06/2014 12:07

Not such happy news here I'm afraid.
The pregnancy sac seen at the last scan had grown but not big enough and there was nothing insideSad. So now waiting to hear if I have to endure yet another scan to confirm the enviable or wether the consultant will let me go ahead with an erpc. Thank you for your support, hopefully I'll be back again soon. Good luck ladies!

Camsie30 · 11/06/2014 12:09
