Just Shagging Grads Thread 9 - Roll Up, Roll Up all you graduated Viroids!

HungryHorace · 07/06/2014 21:41

Welcome to the 9th grads thread...celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed. :-)

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 24th outing!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

For those not in the know, a viroid is an autocorrected version of 'ladies' from the 1st JS thread, which then stuck.

So, roll call below please, viroids. :-)

Tell me about it Zy! I've been awake since 7!! Strange how that never happens on a week day...

JuniDD · 13/07/2014 10:03

Morning, only just woke up. I was knackered yesterday and stupidly went to bed really late.

We haven't had much sex either but trying to keep my hand in a bit. MrJuni being remarkably fine about it. I find I feel quite sore after.

I am going to sit down today, another busy week ahead so need to save energy!

FurryScoob · 13/07/2014 10:24

Ha ha not long ago we were all sex obsessed determined to shag as much as possible, how things change! Grin

Nessalina · 13/07/2014 10:32

Yup, gone from JSers to JnotSers Smile
We've only done it once (a few days back) and it was all fine (including the big finish) so we may do it again! In the early days I was way too nervous, and the couple of times I attempted, ahem, a 'solo performance', I had bleeding the next day, so I freaked out and stopped! Blush I think it's all to do with the cervix settling down, you can't really do any harm physically.

I slept til 10! Mainly coz I refused to get up when I woke at 8 and screwed my eyes shut Grin My body seems to know that it needs to stop wanting lie ins...

At home with my folks, and their next door neighbours daughter has brought round piles of baby clothes!! They're all in good nick, I reckon there's about 40 bits! Shock Genius!

ZylaB · 13/07/2014 10:45

I'm so tired and just feel really off and unwell. Teary cos of it sulk

Pisghetti · 13/07/2014 10:46

Ooh ok I didn't get anything around implantation this time so maybe that's it.....

I was last pregnant so long ago that they've changed it since.

RPopz · 13/07/2014 10:47

Winner Ness!! Smile

I've got Juni syndrome... Mr Rpopz's parent friends have been filling his head with all kinds of crap which he's now annoying me with!

Pisghetti · 13/07/2014 10:47

Oh Zyla Sad take it easy and dream sweet dreams about the second trimester.

RPopz · 13/07/2014 10:49

Oh Zyla Sad You get used to it after a bit. When my ms started I didn't know how I would be able to cope with 12 weeks ++ of it!! But it just sort of becomes normality. And then you panic when you feel well Wink Take it easy today xx Thanks

JuniDD · 13/07/2014 10:59

Poor zyla. I found after a shitty day like that the next was better. Rest if you can. I watched loads of Modern Family and films through the first tri which took my mind off it.

JuniDD · 13/07/2014 11:00

rpopz I recommend telling MrR to shit off. Are you still grumpy, best time to do it. Grin

ZylaB · 13/07/2014 11:42

Thanks guys. DH just came home from the shops with soup and a hdmi cable so I can watch Netflix in bed, bless him. He's in the good books.

Am going to have a day doing nothing at all.

Hope you're all having a lovely sunday

cookielove · 13/07/2014 11:51

Hello all, as I am next after Horace does that mean I have to start the next thread, which I have no issue with :) but just checking the rules Grin

I am so sneezy!!

I have to pop out to the park to see a load of parents leaving the nursery, fun fun fun!

HungryHorace · 13/07/2014 12:20

Yes, cookie, the next thread is yours! :-)

RPopz, I can recommend the bednest. We rented it for DD, then paid the difference between rental and buying during a sale and bought it for this one. You can sell them back at 50% of purchase price within 2 years which we will do when DC2 grows out of it.

Sorry you're feeling crap, Zyla. Hope you feel better soon.

ZylaB · 13/07/2014 13:49

Wish I wasn't diabetic.. When I'm ill I stop absorbing insulin as well, so sugars go up and can start releasing ketones which are harmful to me and baby. So having to test more, inject more, luckily ketone levels are ok atm, just battling to keep sugars down. Meh

Ok, I'll stop whining, sorry.

wilmabedrock · 13/07/2014 14:02

Oh Zyla that's crap. I was just about to moan about all you lucky first timers getting to laze about in bed watching tv instead of running around after a toddler, but I definitely wouldn't swap for all the shit you're having to go through. Hugs.

Horace is the bednest the same size as a crib?

Having lots of cramps today. Think it's down to a sore back. Too hot for a hot water bottle though.

ZylaB · 13/07/2014 14:11

Sorry, I'm aware I'm being a whiny bag today. I'll attempt to stop :)

JuniDD · 13/07/2014 14:19

Don't worry about being whiny zyla, it's a lot to deal with.

How old is mini-Wil? I'm already dreading the 18month old bit which, from here, it appears very hard work!

MrJuni due back soon, I don't want him to come back! It's been so nice just chilling on my own and now I'm trying to get enough housework done so he doesn't get in a strop with me. I think it all looks ok but he seems to be able to pull them out of nothing. I may go away for the weekend soon and see how much he gets done...I bet it will be NOTHING and then I will start WW3.

HungryHorace · 13/07/2014 16:14

Wil, it's a tiny bit shorter than the John Lewis crib we have. Not by too much though (few inches at most).

I can't imagine having the extra issues that diabetes brings with pregnancy. Don't feel bad about moaning to us.

We've been out and about this afternoon. The shops were too hot. Thought I was going to pass out! Doubt I'll be doing too much more gallivanting before the ELCS now.

cookielove · 13/07/2014 17:25

zyla you should definitely moan here, we don't mind, also my husband is a massive moaner am use to it!

We have bought a second hand wicker moses basket, it's really sturdy, bless my mum she wants to buy mr brand new cause she doesn't want the baby to have everything second hand! Any way it was £12. Bargain. Although the baby is measuring long so will probably buy something bigger anyway!

HungryHorace · 13/07/2014 18:42

If you need a new mattress go here:

www.babymattressesonline.co.uk

They make them any size you want and are cheaper than the shops. Use code BABYSAVER for 10% off. :-)

I can really recommend them.

Is this the quickest thread to be filled ever too? Only took 5 minutes!

cookielove · 13/07/2014 18:58

Oh thanks for the link horace will check it out :)

RPopz · 13/07/2014 19:17

Am def going for the bednest rental Horace - its only £99 at the moment!!! (Despite MrR's second hand pearls of wisdom: "the baby's got to learn to be on its own straight away... like the dog did..." Hmm ) Step-MIL has an old moses basket for us too so can still have one and not feel guilty about the cost Smile

Sorry you're feeling crappy Zyla - this is the best place for moaning though Thanks

cookielove · 13/07/2014 19:24

here is the next grads thread
