Just Shagging Grads Thread 9 - Roll Up, Roll Up all you graduated Viroids!

HungryHorace · 07/06/2014 21:41

Welcome to the 9th grads thread...celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed. :-)

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 24th outing!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

For those not in the know, a viroid is an autocorrected version of 'ladies' from the 1st JS thread, which then stuck.

So, roll call below please, viroids. :-)

I am wide awake, boiling hot, and STARVING. Just sneaked downstairs and grabbed the first thing to hand, a mini box of rice crispies. Just realising that they are the worst possible thing to try to eat quietly, in the dark, next to sleeping DH! Crunchy & very droppable Blush

JuniDD · 09/07/2014 05:29

Am awake too! Might get up.

ZylaB · 09/07/2014 06:30

Hehe ness you'll be finding them in bed for days!

dulcet you're amazing! just wanted to say that. hugs

ZylaB · 09/07/2014 06:32

Off to hospital this morning for my first appointment, mums coming with me and I've managed to get the afternoon off so I can chill out and take it all in. :)

HungryHorace · 09/07/2014 07:09

Hi Dulcet. Lovely to see you again. :-)

I'm glad that they've continued where they left off too. That's really good. I hope it works really quickly for you and you're back here again very soon with good news. Xx

Juni, I'm glad those menchildren have been sensible and now talked about the positives to your DP. Do you think that's thanks to the other bloke who got involved? Has your DP said much more?

How's everyone doing? I got trapped in bed last night. Couldn't move because of back and pelvic pain, but also needed a wee. Not good.

Hope your appt goes well today, Zyla. :-)

Ness, I used to eat Mini Cheddars in bed when pregnant with DD. Not quiet either, but quick! Sometimes it's just needed.

Hey Dulce! We miss you too but hopefully you'll be back here before you know it. Really pleased you got to pick up where you left off with the fertility referral - the NHS being useful and thoughtful for once! Fingers crossed that clomid will do its stuff! I imagine you were anxious about taking another 20m to conceive again, mixed in with grieving for the bean (I certainly would be anyway). Did you tell many people in the end? Getting excited for Nashville??? Much love x

RPopz · 09/07/2014 08:13

Ness I am lol-ing at your rice crispie exploits!! I used to eat my breakfast in bed everyday.... Blush (it made getting up seem less traumatic!!). Mr Rpopz - who got up much later than me - HATED it lol! Understandably so Wink He called me Crunchy McSlurpalot for a while.... Hmm

RPopz · 09/07/2014 08:14

Sorry triple posting, I'm terrible at remembering stuff.... good luck today Zy x

ohfourfoxache · 09/07/2014 08:38

Dulcet so sorry darling, just found out what happened.

Clomid is excellent - I wouldn't be here without it. What dose are you starting on? 50mg? If there is anything at all I can do, any way that I can help, please let me know (not a Dr but worked in the field for many, many years) Superb that they've just carried on with an appt etc - I guess you are not a patient at the money-grabbing Trust I had the misfortune to work for!

super to see you love!

Fx for today Zyla

Well, here's a shock start for the day. I've just realised that, instead of accepting a friend request on Facebook from DHs cousin, I've actually accepted a friend request from my fucking FIL. (Same first/surname, didn't notice middle name but just assumed that FIL wouldn't be on FB) He's an arsehole of the highest order. Think I may have to be careful what/when I post......or just delete my account.......

DulcetMoans · 09/07/2014 09:13

Sorry, creeping back in to reply... will bugger off again shortly! Thanks for the love.

I hadn't told many people popz, just three friends, parents in law and two gym instructors. I had to tell work afterwards in the end as needed to go to hospital three times and couldn't think of a good lie. I think I have finished having to say it out loud so safer now.

four - add him to the acquaintance list! Then post your stuff to friends only, not acquaintances. He won't see then. That's what I do with people I feel I have to add but actually don't want to share with.

Not sure what my dose is, handed the prescription in to drs to collect tomorrow. I am getting scanned on day 10-12 as well for follicle tracking...? Hadn't heard about that before. The downside is I can't get appointment back to the clinic until December - super busy! Hopefully I won't need it though.

JuniDD · 09/07/2014 11:24

dulcet it's good to hear from you and if you want to hang around then please do! Really glad the fertility stuff is carrying on and you should be back here pronto. You sound very calm and all things crossed you'll be back before December.

horace the other guy hasn't said anything I don't think, their ages must've kicked in and they realised they were being negative knobheads. If the phone one calls anytime soon and I pick up I will unleash the inner fishwife though. Don't piss off a pregnant lady.

On that note, totally forgot I was pg just now and wondered what all the bubbles in my tummy were...so much nicer than the dragon-scratching. Wink

wilmabedrock · 09/07/2014 13:33

Hey Dulcet, good to hear from you. Hope AF comes quickly. Mine was 4 weeks from mc so hope the same for you.

Nearly the end of my holiday. Boo, don't want to go home.

ZylaB · 09/07/2014 16:05

Ok, I was in the hospital for 4 and a half hours!

I saw the midwife, blood pressure etc, then had a scan!! All looks good, well as good as it can look at 5+2, saw consultant obs, then diabetic specialist nurse, then dietician, then midwife again, had loads of bloods taken, then went to see a different diabetic nurse!

And I'm going back to do it all again in 2 weeks lol

All good though at the moment :)

RPopz · 09/07/2014 18:28

Wow a scan already!! How exciting! I guess there has to be some perks for diabetics :-p Glad it went well Smile x

ZylaB · 09/07/2014 18:42

It was, more so cos I wasn't expecting it.. The sonographer(?) lady said I had a "beautiful gestational sac" proud mummy

Hehe :)

RPopz · 09/07/2014 18:44

He he he that's brilliant! Smile

Reminds me of when I had my colposcopy and the nurse told me I had a "pretty cervix" I was like.... Hmm Hmm lol!

JuniDD · 09/07/2014 18:48

Nice one zyla though 4.5 hours seems a bit much!

Am sat on a stationary bus as a lorry carrying candle wax blew up on a very important road, covering the road in wax and now there is gridlock. I also gave myself serious pelvic pain by running. Tell me a joke? Sad

At least I can stretch my legs out over two seats. Driver keeps turning off the engine! Shock

ZylaB · 09/07/2014 18:52

Candle wax lol. :)

JuniDD · 09/07/2014 18:56

Never a dull day here at rush hour. One time a lorry carrying tons of gravel overturned!

RPopz · 09/07/2014 18:57

Eurgh Juni what a pain!! Hope you get home soon...

RPopz · 09/07/2014 19:34

ARG the forking plasterer has just cancelled on us for 3rd week in a row!!! Angry Baby's going to be born at this rate!! Grrr. I'm an angry popz this week.

JuniDD · 09/07/2014 19:48

I'm home! I used to walk back but struggle to get back from the bus stop now. Gah!

Sorry about the plasterer. I'd advise sacking him off & finding someone else. After five months of workmen hell I'm intending to be no mercy in the future. They are absolute fuckers.

JuniDD · 09/07/2014 19:49

(sorry if any of you are tradespeople/related to, but after our plumber said they'd start work at 8am on a Saturday, then didn't turn up and they are our NEIGHBOURS plus a long list of other fuck ups, I have no patience for it!!!)

RPopz · 09/07/2014 20:08

Nah I'm with you Juni! We've already had a joiner trying to screw us over this year! Claiming too ill to work at ours but doing other jobs on the side!! The plasterer is a nice guy, he's done stuff for us before with no probs so will give him the benefit of the doubt. Just so impatient to get all the house stuff done before I get all humungous!!
