Just Shagging Grads Thread 9 - Roll Up, Roll Up all you graduated Viroids!

HungryHorace · 07/06/2014 21:41

Welcome to the 9th grads thread...celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed. :-)

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 24th outing!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

For those not in the know, a viroid is an autocorrected version of 'ladies' from the 1st JS thread, which then stuck.

So, roll call below please, viroids. :-)

Ah Juni you've got it sorted if you made him cry with a telling off. It's when they laugh you have to worry.

I'm too scared to say/write names out loud popz! We had a name sorted last time and other half kept telling people and then I totally went off it. I'll change my mind 100 times before January anyway I'm sure. If you want inspiration, find the baby names board on here. There are usually some 'interesting' suggestions. MrWil thinks it's his turn to pick this time Envy . I say that if we can't agree, the person pushing a live human out of their fanjo gets the deciding vote.

RPopz · 12/07/2014 15:11

I think we've thought of our names. But like you say, don't like to tell people irl in case they get judgey!! That is also my reasoning for being chief name decider Wink That and, he named the dog!! Lol x

wilmabedrock · 12/07/2014 15:22

People were very polite but I could still tell by their reactions if they liked it or not. Now I look back, it isn't a very 'me-type' name if that makes sense and she definitely suits her actual name better. Definitely don't tell people though. You're doing well to have it sorted already, I'm so indecisive. Made worse by the fact that I instantly go off a name if I meet someone with it.

FurryScoob · 12/07/2014 16:36

So glad other people are getting the Confused face when telling people baby names. We decided ours ages ago but have told family now we know the sex, mixed reactions so far but double barreling our surnames is going down like a lead ballon. Gob firmly shut from now on, we are happy with our choice so sod everyone else's opinion!

RPopz · 12/07/2014 16:51

Eurgh, our surname is terrible. This is the other trouble we have - it ruins perfectly nice sensible names!

ZylaB · 12/07/2014 16:54

I get final say as I agreed to take DH's surname when we got married, it's not a horrible surname, but I wasn't sure so that was the deal we struck. I wouldn't pick anything he hated, but if there's names we both like, and I prefer one to another, I get final say :)

JuniDD · 12/07/2014 17:06

We're not married and double- barrelling, but our names go together well. Plus I am very vague when people ask me anything. Wink

FurryScoob · 12/07/2014 17:32

Any strange names DP came up with I suggested an equally stupid middle name, if bump was a boy it would of been Vincent banana at one point!

cookielove · 12/07/2014 17:38

Hello hello hello, we have our name all sorted well mostly and everyone knows it but we won't make a final decision till he is here.

Fear not juni I am ahead of you (eeek) but I thought someone was ahead of me, but maybe thats Horace!

HungryHorace · 12/07/2014 17:49

Hello!

Congratulations to Pisghetti. :-) How old is your DS? Have you got any other children? Has it sunk in yet?

We have names for both sexes (only sorted boy's) name this week. I thought I was going to have to pull the 'I grew baby so I name baby' card as we weren't agreeing. We don't tell people though. I like these things to be a surprise, along with date, weight and sex. :-) We are keeping my ELCS date relatively secret too.

It's all getting a bit close now. And it could get closer yet if the consultant agrees to change it on Weds. Gulp!

Love Vincent Banana, that'll be going on the list Wink . Boys names are so hard.

Ooh Horace how exciting.

When are you due Cookie, I forget?

I am officially the size of a house and it's not baby related. I need to eat less, feel really sluggish and yuck.

cookielove · 12/07/2014 19:04

JuniDD · 12/07/2014 19:52

Phew! Sorry cookie but glad not to be at the top of the list just yet!

Pisghetti · 12/07/2014 20:06

Hi Horace. He's 13 (yikes) so it'll be a bit of a shock not being an only child anymore! Although he's had some practice - his dad has had another child. Christ I sound like a Jeremy Kyle mum.... Shock

Nope totally not sunk in as I am symptom free other than some crampy feelings. Not quite AF crampy.... Hard to describe. More like my womb making its presence felt.

Personal question - is sex ok in the early stages? I found a bit of blood afterwards and freaked out a bit but everything I've read seems to say not to worry Confused

wilmabedrock · 12/07/2014 20:38

Sex should be fine Pis. Was it just a one off spot?

cookielove · 12/07/2014 20:50

pis dh and I had sex during the early stages, we didn't have a problem however if your worried and don't want to then don't bother!

RPopz · 12/07/2014 21:54

We didn't have sex for the first couple of weeks after we found out - because I was irrationally terrified of it falling out and kind of put that idea in DHs head too! But it didn't last long Wink (although the arrival of morning sickness curbed all activities for about a month!) Bleeding/ spotting afterwards is pretty common I think - as the cervix is softer. x

Pisghetti · 12/07/2014 23:48

Thank you ladies. Yes popz I kind of have this idea of it being dislodged even though I know that's not possible! It was only a little bit (not fresh and red either) afterwards and none since. I'll chill out a bit when I get some symptoms....

ZylaB · 13/07/2014 03:26

Poor DH isn't allowed to touch me at the moment, my nipples are sore, my skin is hot and I still have period like stomach cramps. Poor man

HungryHorace · 13/07/2014 07:28

What's this sex you talk of?! None here since getting the BFP!

I bled a couple of times last time, so we just decided against it really. I've said DH might get lucky before the ELCS though. When it's just hilarious to find a workable position. :-)

Sex is absolutely fine though.

Pisghetti, I know the type of cramping you mean. It must be strange being pregnant again after so long. Have you forgotten how it feels?

I'm sure your DS will be a doting older brother when the time comes.

My boobs are single handedly attempting world domination. God knows how big they'll be by the ELCS! They hurt too. And I can hand express a tiny bit of milk, which I couldn't do last time. Glad to know they're starting to work. :-)

Anybody got any plans today? We kind of did, but I'm not sure they'll happen now as I'm knackered and DD is teething and a big of a grump!

RPopz · 13/07/2014 08:28

Haha, tbh, I think Mr Rpopz is enjoying the rest after the exertions of ttc!!

It could be leftovers from implantation pis that's been dislodged. I had some browny spotting after bfp and that's what google told me Smile

RPopz · 13/07/2014 08:57

Wow, I'm pretty tempted by the bed nest rental! Was just looking at the snuzpod that someone on the Jan thread mentioned but I think the bednest is better - and cheaper!

Minion · 13/07/2014 09:09

We've done it a handful of times since the bfp however this morning became apparent that bump will play a major part in positioning.
Ha!
Haven't managed to let myself fully go just yet as I read an O can cause bump cramps etc and I'm too much of a worrier to add that to the mix.
Tmi? Ah well.

ZylaB · 13/07/2014 09:22

Why can't I sleep well when I so so tired, why? grumble

RPopz · 13/07/2014 09:30

I have no bump to speak of Min - but the big finish does give me periody cramps for a bit after. Guess bean doesn't like it haha Grin
