Just Shagging Grads Thread 9 - Roll Up, Roll Up all you graduated Viroids!

HungryHorace · 07/06/2014 21:41

Welcome to the 9th grads thread...celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed. :-)

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 24th outing!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

For those not in the know, a viroid is an autocorrected version of 'ladies' from the 1st JS thread, which then stuck.

So, roll call below please, viroids. :-)

Hate hate it when you wait in for people and they are really late or don't turn up.

RPopz · 09/07/2014 21:02

Have asked the plasterer for our deposit back until he can give us a definite date. Feel like a bit of a tosser asking, but that's ok right??? No reason he should be earning interest on it and not me!

JuniDD · 09/07/2014 21:03

it's totally ok

AND HOLY SHIT! Someone I went to college with is on OBEM. I thought I'd just watch the start. Catherine, I really wanted to get back in touch with her but couldn't find her on FB. CRIKEY! Not sure I want to watch it now!

RPopz · 09/07/2014 21:27

Haha! As long as you don't see her everyday Juni - its all good Wink

We've got to watch the world cup... Angry

JuniDD · 09/07/2014 21:41

It's making me really want to get in touch, she's so nice! Oh well, good to know things have worked out for her. Smile

We are a sport free house. Last night MrJuni asked if it was still going on! Speaking of him, he's out getting drunk...I will make plenty of noise leaving the house tomorrow!

Nessalina · 09/07/2014 22:50

Evening all! Busy day on the thread Smile

Glad your appt went well Zyla - sounds a bit epic!! Shock

Rpopz - definitely find someone else, there's plenty more plasterer-fish in the sea if that makes any sense at all!! Ask on FB if anyone can recommend someone else local? Cheeky bugger taking a deposit too Hmm I don't hand over money until the job is done now - been burnt on that one before!

Juni - we're sport free too! Im so lucky my DH hates football Grin We tried to watch the Tour de France (as it was going through our home town!) but both fell asleep Blush

Can't believe I thought rice crispies were a good idea... I said to DH when I got in, um, did I wake you last night? He was like Hmm yeah, just a bit! I've brought up rice cakes and peanut butter tonite in case of the 3am munchies!

Very sneezy today Confused 23+1

cookielove · 10/07/2014 07:21

Hello all, we are a sports free household to, sh aaked last night who won, I was like I dunno. My parents are uber sporty but I guess some things don't get passed down.

juni, we've had a tanker full of melted butter leak as it was driving along, the smell was god damn awful!

zyla epic first appointment wowsers!

All is good with cookie, which is nice and is has been a tough couple of days!

wilmabedrock · 10/07/2014 07:29

Glad things are on the up cookie.

I have scan next week, finally. Feels like forever. Still feel like I can feel little movements, is that possible? I read 13 weeks was the earliest. Although the other half of me still feels like I've made it up.

HungryHorace · 10/07/2014 07:39

I felt DD from 11 weeks, Wil, so it is possible to feel before 13 weeks.

Zyla, your appt sounds fantastic. Will you have that kind of attention all the way through? Will be lovely if you do.

We don't watch much sport either, thank god. It was OBEM for me. Which one did you know, RPopz?

OP posts:
RPopz · 10/07/2014 07:57

Impressed you all still watch obem tbh! I didn't watch it when ttc cos I was too bitter Wink and now I'm upduffed I'm too scared!! Two series worth backing up on the sky planner tho haha.

Hooray for scan Wil! It does feel like an age since you got your bfp!! I thought I could feel movement last night but deduced it was prob just my bowels.... Hmm

14+5

HungryHorace · 10/07/2014 08:18

I didn't watch it last time I was pregnant, RPopz. But as I've been there and done that with regard to a (relatively traumatic) labour and EMCS there isn't much that can scare me now!

OP posts:
JuniDD · 10/07/2014 08:24

OBEM is less good than it used to be. All this focus on the couples is boring. m
My colleague's daughter pulled out, they were so intrusive!

My friend was Catherine who had the C section.

HungryHorace · 10/07/2014 09:29

Ah, it was you, Juni...sorry, zero memory and can't scroll back on my phone!

I thought they were nice. :-)

I wouldn't want to be filmed for it, I can tell you. I'd have been dull anyway. Quick labour during which I said barely anything. Didn't scream either!

ZylaB · 10/07/2014 18:32

I was introduced to morning sickness today.. Lucky me :p

RPopz · 10/07/2014 18:44

Aaah, you're one of us now Zyla Wink Mine took a break for a couple of weeks but is now staging a resurgence at 14 weeks..... Awesome! Envy

ZylaB · 10/07/2014 20:49

Just found out today that I have my health and safety assessment at work next Thursday, so it'll be interesting to see if they keep me doing what I'm doing or move me away, I suspect I'll get moved... The suspense! ;)

Nessalina · 10/07/2014 22:08

Morning sickness is long gone - but incoming is the searing heartburn Confused urgh.

JuniDD · 10/07/2014 23:10

oh sorry abt the sickness rpopz and zyla.

I think my baby has finally gone head down! Getting some kicks in my side instead of my bladder, hurrah!

Minion · 11/07/2014 06:12

Still borking at 18 weeks, apparently it's a form of morning sickness... So, yay me...sigh
Now I've got a shitty cough and hacking so hard it's making me Bork and think I'm going to bring up a lung.
Oh and the greasy hair is back.. No l'oreal trimester for minion.
Bah!
But on the other hand last night was the first time I felt my little dragonfruit (how cute) squirm at night enough to wake me up.
1 week on Monday and it's the 20 week scan... Eeeeekkk
Halftime!

Nessalina · 11/07/2014 07:10

Hurrah for scan Min! And dragon fruit is deffo the cutest so far Smile lol. Sucks that you're still yacky though. Still time for it to stop, right?!
My hair is confusing me, it was looking good but now it's gone quite dry and fuzzy on top Hmm It doesn't help that I've stopped colouring it, so I've got loads of grey coming through Confused Looking very Cruella right now!

RPopz · 11/07/2014 08:13

Eek Min that seems to have gone quick. Mind you, mines in August and that's not that far away. I feel a bit bad for wishing the whole first trimester away and now time seems to be slipping away from me!!

Ness did you stop hair dying because you're pg?

Morning ladies. Hope you're not feeling too pukesome Zyla. Hooray for upside down baby Juni! Thanks

Nessalina · 11/07/2014 08:28

Yeah, it was something I read ANC paranoia took over, though I'm sure it'd have done me no harm! I think it's only early days that it's not great, a girl on my antenatal thread in the summer got hers done and had a really bad allergic reaction, and it rather put me off! Might need it doing before the end though, I doubt I'll have time for 3-4hrs in the hairdressers once baby arrives!!

Nessalina · 11/07/2014 08:28

For ANC read 'and' - I have no idea why autocorrect keeps doing that!!

RPopz · 11/07/2014 08:45

Haha... I haven't seen my natural hair colour since I was 15 so not much chance of me stopping... Wink I think the risk is minimal but I guess it depends how you feel Smile x

JuniDD · 11/07/2014 09:19

Spend a lot of time talking South African politics ness? Wink

It's funny the things you feel worried about compared to others. It's one of the reasons I didn't join in the other ante-natal groups on here because there were so many people to worry about everything!

I've got a completely irrational fear of nail polish!

Wow minion, you're going so quickly.
