HungryHorace · 07/06/2014 21:41

Welcome to the 9th grads thread...celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed. :-)

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 24th outing!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

For those not in the know, a viroid is an autocorrected version of 'ladies' from the 1st JS thread, which then stuck.

So, roll call below please, viroids. :-)

zenry they actually put me fwd to 13 + 1 at the scan, so maybe a girl afterall...eeep!

I cannot believe they would keep that quiet furry, how freaking irresponsible. Regardless of upduffage in the office there could and probably are people with compromised immunity.

Fools.

Absolute utter Fuckwits.

Im seething on your behalf. Fingers crossed that you are indeed immune.
Let us know how you get on. x

FurryScoob · 09/06/2014 12:47

I don't get this nub theory, I can't tell what I'm looking for!

I've had chicken pox so should be immune, midwife was very helpful & told me not to worry. My boss has no idea whether I've had chicken pox or not & happily put me & the baby at risk, I'm going in for my next shift ready to make good use of all these pregnancy rage hormones!

HungryHorace · 09/06/2014 13:01

Minion, being put forwards doesn't mean it's accurate, it just means that the baby was that size when you were scanned.

I was moved forwards a week too, but know when I conceived, so know it's not right. I was just grateful to leap forwards a week! DD was moved forwards 4 days, again wrong as I also know when she was conceived. :-)

I'm crap at nub theory too, Furry!

zenry · 09/06/2014 13:09

I was put forward 5 days but I know when I ovulated so they have actually only put me 1 day ahead. Cant wait for obem on wednesday. Anyone going to watch?

RPopz · 09/06/2014 13:29

I've still got the whole of the last series taped on the sky box... I couldn't watch it as I was too bitter about ttc. Now it seems too real and scary to watch!!! Blush

Minion · 09/06/2014 14:12

Yep thats what I thought, i know when I ovulated so unless I implanted really early (approx 6-7 days) then I'm right. We'll see at the 20 week scan tho, I fully expect them to say, 'Oh Minion, looks like you knew all along'..well dur!
im very excited that currently mat leave is a week closer, however ha!

I too am shocking at guessing nubbage.

HungryHorace · 09/06/2014 14:28

Minion, now you have your date, that's it. The next scan is anomaly only, so they won't move you again. :-)

I don't know if I'll watch it. The screaming does my head in! I was nigh on mute during labour with DD.

Minion · 09/06/2014 14:47

So I wont even get the saisfaction of being proved right?
Gah, spoilsports ha!

I like OBEM but it dont half attract some questionable folk. Showing the gory bits gets a bit much on a full stomach post take out scoffage

HungryHorace · 09/06/2014 14:50

You really don't want to go backwards...that'd be gutting!

All TV like that attracts questionable folk. Nature of the beast, I feel. Can't be loads of people lining up to have their labour filmed, I imagine!

Hello all, my feet look almost normal! I think im my 12 week scan they put me forward, my original due date if I remember correctly was the 29th of Sept, so that's just under a week!

furry im my first pregnancy (I work in a nursery) there was chicken pox and in this one there was mumps! I was off work for three weeks and it took almost 2 months to get the results of blood test to confirm immunity (for mumps)

I am in Ventura, for a week! My brother is getting married on Sunday! Then we are travelling up the to the parks to see the redwood's and across to San Francisco, then back down to Lax.

Good times!

FurryScoob · 09/06/2014 15:48

Cookie your making me want a holiday!

I use to watch OBEM but DP's banned this & the last series while we were TTC in case I changed my mind think its too late for that

Thanks for the support on the chicken pox ladies, I'm sure it'll be ok, at least I know I can't trust my boss to keep me safe at work!

DulcetMoans · 09/06/2014 17:42

Eurgh. Been at an away day today with a distinct lack of hourly snacks I have become accustomed to! Then again, managed to put on 3lb this weekend so maybe I deserved it!

Can't believe your boss kept that a secret from the office furry, so dangerous for everyone!

OBEM will be watched in my house, be interesting to see if I feel any different this time compared to previous years!

Oh and it will be a surprise for us too I think. I like the idea of finding out on the day!

RPopz · 09/06/2014 18:20

Cookie that is a disgrace. Can you complain in some way? A while ago a colleague of mine was pg and exposed to a friend's child with chickenpox... she wasn't immune and so one of the consultants at work gave her the vaccine himself when he found out! Mini perk of working in a hospital I guess! Hmm

My back huuuuurts.... surely its too early for this!?

RPopz · 09/06/2014 18:21

I meant Furry then obviously!! Cookie its a disgrace you're in California and I'm not... Wink

Nessalina · 09/06/2014 18:50

I can't believe the negligence Furry!! What idiots! Shock Really hope there's no issues for you, glad the midwife was reassuring. If they know you're pregnant I think an official complaint is in order...

I didn't know OBEM was back on! I've still got last series to watch still - thought I'd save it til it got a bit more real...!

Minion · 09/06/2014 18:54

Urgh. Feel like garbage today. And just looked in the mirror, I'm all square, where has my waist gone?
Is mental how quickly your body changes isn't it? My little not quite a bump, bump is now turning into a I can see you bump, bump.
So strange.

RPopz · 09/06/2014 19:11

It is weird how it all knows what its doing isn't it? DH commented my nipples were bigger this morning! Shock Blush Makes you wonder how some people go months without knowing they're pg. I wonder if we weren't ttc and early testing I'd be able to ignore/ explain away all these little things!

zenry · 09/06/2014 20:00

I also wonder how they cant know?!

Anyone cloth buming? Ive just ordered my first ever teenyfits! Excited!

wilhelmeaner · 09/06/2014 20:09

I think they must be the symptomless people RPopz, I'd find it tricky to ignore feeling this shit and having such giant sore boobs.

If you've had the pox, things are most likely to be ok Furry. But if you get a rash then go to GP.

So jealous of your holiday Cookie.

Aargh I can't face work tomorrow.

Nessalina · 09/06/2014 20:11

I don't get how people can not know. Especially if they've been upduffed before! I'd know this crap feeling anywhere!
My breasts have got even bigger. I bought 4 new bras only 2 months ago, now I'm going to need more! Hmm

DulcetMoans · 09/06/2014 20:25

Sorry, are we ignoring the cloth buming comment from zenry there?! Pahahaha!

Holiday does sound awful cookie. It's drizzly here, you should come back.

Even if it was jut the boobs I would probably be questioning if I was pregnant cos its such an unusual feeling. But guess not everyone gets the same feelings!

RPopz · 09/06/2014 20:52

I've always been tempted by cloth bumming Zenry! But not sure if its just one of those pie in the sky ideas i'll never put into practise because its slightly trickier than the norm.... Blush I am a nappy novice after all!

FurryScoob · 09/06/2014 20:55

I'm gonna make an official complaint but I don't think anything will happen. I had chicken pox a few years ago as an adult & was pretty ill with it so I'm keeping my fingers crossed ive had a good enough dose of it to be immune.

I don't get how people can go so long without knowing their upduffed either, only trapping my nipples in a vice could make them hurt more than they did in the first few weeks!

DulcetMoans · 09/06/2014 20:56

Oh I thought it was an autocorrect but now I see! Sorry zenry!

I am thinking about it to use whilst at home but not researched it. Link would be appreciated if you have a supplier!

RPopz · 09/06/2014 20:59

Hahaha well now who looks silly Dulce Grin Wink
