Stats anyone?!

Hello ladies scan today! All looks fine. Baby was wiggly and hiccuppy and the nuchal measurement was 1.8mm which is a bit of a relief. Obvs still have to wait for bloods results but feeling much more positive about stuff today now! Went straight round to my mother's to tell her on my way back to work and she was suitably pleased - although she did say she thought I'd just put on some weight!

Date brought forward by one day so now due Boxing Day...and I'm currently...

Oops, just realised this is the Dec thread! We must stop meeting like this chinese !

sasseh DP was/is away but I sent him a message saying 'hapy dady day' (written with my left hand) and he liked it.

I told senior management a couple of weeks ago and was hoping to keep it quiet from the rest of the office until the 16w mw appt, but today i was huge and people are starting to gossip. Don't think I can wait until 1st july to announce.

Anyone else still having blocked digestion and insomnia? It's driving me mad, haven't slept for 2 days, cooked something in the oven this morning before rushing to work, and came back to find the oven was still on and had been all day...

I had nightmares all night. Not sure it it's pregnancy-related or just the insane heat!

May I join? This is my 4th baby- a big surprise- and it took a while to even realise! I went for an early dating scan thinking I was about 5 weeks, to be told I was 10 weeks gone. A quarter of the way through and hadn't even noticed. 12 week scan today and am actually 12+4 with a due date of 26 Dec.
to be honest I'm struggling with a huge life-change we'd not planned on. My children will be 13, nearly 10 and nearly 8 so we're long out of the baby stage. I also feel much too old at 37!
Sorry this was a LNG post but it would be good to meet some others due at a similar time.

crayola I have crazy realistic dreams in pregnancy. Sometimes great, sometimes awful. Woke up bawling crying two weeks ago and took me half an hour to stop!

I had a dream last night that I'd got DS into our bed and he'd fallen asleep so I layed him on the floor it's honestly not something that I do honest. When he was stirring at about 4 this morning DH said to me do you want me to go check in him and I said no it's alright he's on the floor then I was like actually, no he's not, I don't know why he'd be on the floor

I know 37 isn't too old really, but I've been a mother for nearly 13 years and I'm knackered!
Is there anyone else with a largish age gap?

I'm having the really vivid dreams too! I have definitely been crying and dreaming about people from school and uni, and also about money. Also definitely getting baby brain, my friend was giving me back money today she owed me and after she left I couldn't remember if she'd given it to me or not. She hadn't but if she had told me that she had I would have believed her since my brain is totally cuffudelled!

Sasseh I gave my other half a fathers day card and he really liked it too :)

Hi Coddled! Im 40 and have 3 ds aged 23, 19 and 18! This likkle bean was planned with a new husband so not the shock that you have, but its a wonderful opportunity to go through it all again! So many special memories, ad we get to create some more! I ve looked at a few posts about age gaps, there is a current support thread, but most say older children are hugely positive and a great helping hand! Congratulations! - Once you get over the shock try and enjoy it and remember you know what you're doing! (Tho I feel like a first timer!) xx

Ahh poly, welcome back ;-) I've also been having lots of weird dreams this week. This morning I had one where a small sports car was.doing doughnuts in the garden (its tiny, cant fit a car in there really!) and I had to try andbnot let the dog chase it. It broke out through my gate and left a big hole. Weird. Cant remember most of the others but just as weird I think!

I can feel baby when lying down at night and its bubbly and.gentle. Bf says hers has started poking her from the inside at 16weeks!

Currently 14+4! Eeeee!

Hi ladies can you send your best wishes my way today I am awaiting my second load of results from my amnio test. It was 2 weeks since my sample was taken yesterday so I should hear any day now. I am sick with worry. And then I believe that after this hurdle they will be looking at the heart closely. I just wish we were out of the woods

Uggghhhh. Woke up feeling like I'd been hit by a bus but not sick, just exhausted. Ate a roll, took tablets. Immediately threw up. I thought I was past this bit!!
