BigHairyLeggedSpider · 10/06/2014 08:00

Trying Aquanatal this week. I bought some new scales. I have put on 10lb in three months and I was big to start with. Now sickness has mostly gone I have no excuse. More exercise for me!

espa · 10/06/2014 08:08

Sickness is back after having stopped my tablets. Was sick when I got in from work last night, had that horrible undigested food in me all day again so went straight to bed at 7 without any dinner. Would love to say I feel better for it but boo such luck. Was sick this morning then felt better so had some Weetabix but can feel it coming back on me already. :(

11+6 today and really wanting a day off work but meant to have a client meeting this pm. Scan on Friday so at least I can tell work next week.

BigHairyLeggedSpider · 10/06/2014 08:18

Good luck for scan Sasseh!

EmilyPinkOrBlue · 10/06/2014 09:12

Hi ladies
A massive 15 weeks today! Feels like ages and not all at the same time! Lol
I spoke with my midwife yesterday as she was off last week when we got our good results I asked her if she could squeeze me in somewhere so I could hear babies heartbeat to put my mind at rest after the amnio test. There is a 1 in 200 risk of miscarrying due to the test within 2 weeks so another week to go and we will be all clear! It's my birthday on Thursday so have booked the day off so will be a lovely birthday present to hear little man is still ok.
I'm having trouble sleeping in this heat coupled with getting up 3-4 times a night for a wee! Also seem to be suffering frequently with diarrheoa since being pregnant and the tummy cramps decided to start in the middle of the night but I couldn't seem to release it (iykwim)! I've been so bunged up the last few days that I don't think my body knew what to do! Lol so queue going twice to the loo to try and get over that and getting up at 6am for work equals very grumpy pregnant lady that isn't actually pregnant at work!! Sorry if tmi I haven't had any morning or any time of day sickness the odd gagging while brushing teeth and if I cough so I think I've just got it from the other end! Anyone else?!

SassehMonsta · 10/06/2014 10:08

ohdear. sounds like a rough night Emily Hope you feeling better soon!

Scan was amazing. Super wiggly dancing baby, that wasn't impressed at being prodded with the scanner! Imaging was ace, could see hands, legs, face, allsorts :) Think it's got a bad lot as both dh and I have a big noses, baby will be no different ;)

Felt rather sick beforehand, and a bile run this morning didn't help, but survived not being sick! Now off to see a friend, then dancing, then back home to chill and work out how to tell the world (ie, argue with dh over the best way!!)

Oh yes, we opted not to have the NT scan/bloods done, as the less needles the better! Plus, even if it came back positive/high risk then we wouldn't abort anyway.

Can see babies hands in this one - in the above one hands are both together clapping at the top! :) Baby started off facing my spine but rolled over halfway through Grin

Lovely scan pics sasseh! It's so intriguing how they all look so different! But I suppose us as humans do so why not little beans! Lol

htbftm · 10/06/2014 10:50

Good news on 15 wks Emily! Its been a long journey for you! Lovely scan pics Sasseh! What a cutie! xx

EmilyPinkOrBlue · 10/06/2014 14:23

Quiet today!! Is everyone sunning themselves?!

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 10/06/2014 14:43

Haha wish I was Emily - I'm stuck at work all day. My manager made an impromptu visit this morning, cue lots of running around to ensure the shop was spotless! My volunteers were amazing, even the ones who don't really like me were rallying round! I jumped around like a frog for a few minutes to release nervous energy and had a sore tummy afterwards, not cramps or sharp, probably a warning from the bean not to do that again, please mum!
I need to look at this thread on the desktop site so I can see everyone's scan pics! I hope I have one to post on Friday.

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 10/06/2014 14:44

Erm not literally like a frog.

SassehMonsta · 10/06/2014 16:24

Ribbit!

After seeing baby not liking being prodded I felt bad at dancing, but oh well - jiggle baby, jiggle!

PunkyPod · 10/06/2014 16:48

Cineraria I'm in Bromley too! Will you be going to the PRUH? Wonder if we have the same midwife??!! The one at the PRUH was amazing. And the community one is the same as with DD. I liked her. We've moving to Hayes soon. But it's still basically Brommers Smile

Nothing nuh to report from me. DD has been really poorly so been dealing with her the last week. Poor thing...

Cineraria · 10/06/2014 17:43

Yes, I'll be going to the PRUH too, PunkyPod, although antenatal is at the Beckenham Beacon as we live just up the road. Nice to here you had a good experience there. You'll be there about a month before me, I think, as I'm only 11+4.

Did you go to the Early Pregnancy Evening at the PRUH last week or is that just for people with first babies? The midwives there seemed lovely, even the trainees and I'm so glad we saw the road safety people they had there as we had no idea about car seats needing to be matched to the car. Hope your DD is feeling better now.

I get so excited seeing everyone's scan pictures. Such a nice clear one there, Sasseh. I'm feeling both nervous and excited for mine on Thursday.

Ladylel · 10/06/2014 18:20

Ive only been quiet today as it was first day back at work. Joys.

You know when you know that people know. That is how my day went. Wasn't prepared to tell the office as a whole but if people ask me then id tell them. Feels a bit awkward in a weird way!

PunkyPod · 10/06/2014 18:37

I wasn't there no, I don't think I went with dd either. I did go to the birthing and breastfeeding sessions at the PRUH though towards the end of the pregnancy. They were good. Didn't do NCT with dd, went with Lazy Daisy birthing workshop in west wick ham. It was good. Am thinking about doing the NCT refresher thing this time. It's all still quite fresh as dd is only 2 but I want to hear more about breastfeeding as it was very challenging for us. The Oasis unit at the PRUH is fantastic if you decide to go there.

BigHairyLeggedSpider · 10/06/2014 20:03

Lady I know what you mean - kinda like you're admitting to deception for the last few months :)

I was TOUCHED today. I have no bump. Just a gut. Girl at work found out and CUPPED my belly! I was speechless!!!

CatFaceCrayola · 10/06/2014 20:50

Feeling much more positive today...hope it lasts!

In fantastic news...my friend who was in a coma had a big brain op this morning, but has now woken up...which is a huge relief!! :)

I went swimming today too. I'm a terrible swimmer but since I've had to stop nearly all my other active hobbies. Managed 12 lengths and felt good for it.

StetsonsAreCool · 10/06/2014 21:00

OMG Spider, my aunt did that to me at the weekend. At the dinner table! I gave her a Hmm face, as she was feeling the bloat on top of my roast dinner, but I'll let it pass this once. This is the same aunt who bought me babygrows for the Christmas that I was pg with DD. Lovely present, but they didn't fit me Wink

Glad you're feeling more positive CatFace. Amazing the difference having a clearer head.

Good news at the scan Sasseh. We're edging towards everyone being 2nd trimester aren't we? The blooming had better start soon, I can't wait!

CatFaceCrayola · 10/06/2014 21:08

sasseh me and DH have also been joking about our poor little Bubble being unlucky in the nose department, as we both have rather noticeable noses!

htbftm · 10/06/2014 21:18

Fab news about your friend Catface!

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 10/06/2014 21:45

Well ladies, today I hit a whole new low! But I did have the opportunity to remember why and how much I love DH. Do not read any further if you're eating or of a sensitive disposition.

I was retching in the car (minutes from home, thank god) and the only bag I had to hand had more holes in it than a sieve. So I vommed all over myself. Got in and DH washed my clothes and disposed of the "bag" while I got in the shower. Now, since it was so hot today, I managed to drink 2.5l of water and a pint of diet Pepsi, so when I vommed again after my shower, there was a lot of it, and it went EVERYWHERE. Up the walls, on the floor, all over the toilet, in the toilet, on me... everywhere. DH laughed and cleaned it up. HE CLEANED IT UP! I kept saying sorry, but he just told me to stop being silly. I LOVE THAT MAN!

EmilyPinkOrBlue · 10/06/2014 22:04

Peace he's a keeper!!!!

EmilyPinkOrBlue · 10/06/2014 22:17

I have a lovely spa day to look forward to tomorrow. It was booked before we knew we were pregnant so a little miffed that I can't have a massage, go in the jacuzzi and use the sauna but I am determined to make the most of it and just chill after all this horrible stress!
