Hurrah hurrah and thrice rah! Brilliant news frenetic, hope your week goes swiftly :) you must be so relieved.

I get sleep terrors fancy, although it mostly involves screaming a lot in my sleep and leaping around in bed thinking something is after me, as well as being obsessed with checking if DH is dead, he has lost count if the amount of times he's woken up to me in his face prodding him repeatedly with my finger until he moves, so not great if a baby was thrown into the mix.

fancyacupoftea · 15/06/2014 11:34

It will fly by Frenetic!

Lol Zermatt!! Love the finger prodding.

MademoiselleG · 15/06/2014 11:44

Yay frenetic, hurrahhh!!

We had dd in our bedroom for a bit, in one of those bednest thingies which mean you kind of co-sleep but not exactly in the same bed. Tbh though, as soon as we went out and sheet on the sofa bed (we were in a 1bed flat), she started sleeping through! So certainly no attachment parenting in this house - I like my sleep too much! I really hope this one is a good sleeper because dd really is and I'm one of those people who just cannot function if not well rested...

Anybody doing anything nice for Father's Day? Spotti, how did dh react to the card??

Good luck with the work fancy Hmm

Knottyknitter · 15/06/2014 11:51

That's brilliant frenetic so glad everything looks good.

Freezer no longer a health hazard, kitchen almost sparkly, dishwasher and washing machine running and biscuits in the oven.

I'm not at all domesticated (exhibit a: the state of the freezer to begin with! ) ... So is this nesting, just starting really, really early?

PolytheneGirl · 15/06/2014 11:52

Yay Fox I'm so happy for you! What's relief! I'm already counting down to my midterm scan, just 5 wks and 2 days argh!

Retro you need to spend as little time as possible with your SIL. It's hard enough being a first time Mom and you naturally feel like everyone is watching and judging your every move without actually having someone who is. Just keep your head and do things your own way, do the best that you can and no one can expect more. What is right for one family will not be right for the next. I'm so cross with her and I don't even know her!

Frentic that's great news, what a relief after Thursday!

Just woke up as we were at a proper play my godson was in last night out of town, had to watch the football at his parents near as we wouldn't make it back to London in time to watch, we got home at 4am. Game was fun, my DP is Italian so was good fun watching with English mates, especially as my god sons DF taught England's man of the match when he was younger. I just didn't know who the cheer for lol!

I have to call back hospital at 230 for urine results. But I must say in February we mc last night timing wise so am relieved already that awful milestone has passed. Will wait till scan on Thursday and if all is well will share good news with my mom and sister.

fancyacupoftea · 15/06/2014 12:51

I was feeling lazy so did a section of my pregnancy workout DVD I hate it so much she is so annoying. Anybody got one they can recommend? This one is Suzanne Bowen.

sammyj85 · 15/06/2014 12:58

Great news frenetic so pleased for you!

The in laws are coming over for lunch to celebrate father's day and we're planning on telling. Nervous and excited all at the same time!

Knottyknitter · 15/06/2014 13:05

Head out for a swim , fancy? In this weather I'm loving getting in the pool. Excercise videos are the work of Satan (scowls at Dusty shred DVD under tv)

lindamagoo · 15/06/2014 13:05

Aw Sammy it's exciting telling people. My dad and stepmum are coming today (they already know) will be a strange visit, we don't see them too often and usually when they come up the wine is a flowing all day, no more of that for me for a while Hmm lol, guess my barmaid skills will come in to play instead today Smile

fancyacupoftea · 15/06/2014 13:24

Not too sure about swimming Knotty - I like it but when I do it for exercise I feel I need goggles and then I worry about looking like a dick. Also, it will involve sorting out my hairy nether-regions and that seems a lot of hassle! Plus I need a bigger swimming costume for my norks.

lindamagoo · 15/06/2014 13:36

Fancy you totally made me lol there Grin

lindamagoo · 15/06/2014 14:16

Feeling a bit better about lack of symptoms! Got bf's doppler and after a while I picked up a heart rate of 147 bpm Smile

MademoiselleG · 15/06/2014 14:24

Lovely linda! I'm totally buying June Grin has your day improved?

Fancy, I'm sorry but your normally flawless syntax is off in the following sentence: I was feeling lazy so I did a section of my workout dvd Shock erm...sorry?!

RetroHippy · 15/06/2014 14:54

Syntax on a Sunday Mlle?! Tut tut, it's a day of rest doncha know?

fancyacupoftea · 15/06/2014 15:00

It should have said I was feeling guilty for being a big lazy blob so in a vain attempt to be less big lazy blob-like I did one of the sections from the stupid workout DVD.

And then I followed it up by eating lots of crisps.

Spotti · 15/06/2014 15:06

OH grinned and giggled like a child at Christmas! And he hasn't stopped smiling and trying to rub my belly which is currently looking several months pregnant but is actually just stupidly full of chicken - Mmm! all day. I'm taking that as he's a bit pleased Grin.

How he didn't let it slip to my DF and DFIL earlier I do not know! (He's one of those people who like to tell EVERYONE straightaway if something exciting has happened). I've told him he's got to keep schtum until the scan if he wants to keep his deal of not finding out e sex at 20 weeks...we'll see just how long he can cope Wink...

Spotti · 15/06/2014 15:07

Great news frenetic. Roll on the 23rd!

MademoiselleG · 15/06/2014 15:40

Lovely news Spotti, sounds like a great day Grin

Fancy: phew! I'm reassured now. For a very brief moment, I thought we'd lost you. But I am now reassured that you are indeed perfectly normal and have not been abducted by aliens and replaced by a sports freak. Now carefully place said DVD at the back of the shelf, never touch it again and go out (better even: send dh) to buy cheesecake. Wine

I'm having a nap. Aaah I love Sundays!

MademoiselleG · 15/06/2014 15:42

Teehee retro Wink

fancyacupoftea · 15/06/2014 16:21

Didn't get cheesecake, got tesco own mini magnums instead. Never go own brand - I'm a fool! Also popped to the pharmacist and got lactulose stuff. Shit got real (pun intended).

freneticfox · 15/06/2014 16:32

Giggling at the poo talk, amusing me on a Sunday afternoon!

Curled up on the sofa watching the Sopranos, I have the munchies today, can't stop nibbling mini cheddars. This kind of side effect I can deal with. Although I am going to end up with a more giant arse.

fancyacupoftea · 15/06/2014 16:34

Mini cheddars are AMAZING preggo food!

It's always poo talk on here. Unfortunately only when I'm around though.

barmybunting · 15/06/2014 16:42

Frenetic, pleased to hear about your blood results, very reassuring!

Spotti, Grin for your DHs reaction, he must be so pleased!

Zermatt, you sent me off in a frenzy to find tuna and red onion sandwiches for lunch today with cheese and onion crisps! Utter heaven Smile.

I have been on another fruitless search for maternity jeans today, they are hideous and are all too long for me! Stupid jeans!

freneticfox · 15/06/2014 16:43

I've had some problems with backing up. But I have Fybogel daily and it's marvellous even if it does feel a little bit like drinking sand.

I take way too much of an interest in bowel movements.
