Just starting a new thread so we have somewhere to go once thread 2 is full (I give it less than a day!!)

Welcome to the never-ending first trimester, and maybe some of us into the second trimester this thread?

Cheesecake if you are having red blood for a while then I think you should go to a and e. I had red blood when wiping three times after toilet and then overnight went to spotting and then the next day was brown blood/discharge all day I rang the epu and they didn't seem too concerned said it might be my cervix but she said if it is red and heavy to then go in. I hope everything will be ok for you but you need to get checked out especially if you are on your own at home. We are here if you need to talk

Good luck cheesecake. I had a big bleed 2 weeks ago; they found the embryo w partially detached with a big clot behind him and I was warned I could be miscarrying. He'd settled back in nicely a week later. Hope the scan goes well but just wanted to warn you that they may not be able to give young answer.

Monday and in the office. Feel okay ish at the moment but doubt it will last! Also cannot wait for this trimester to be over.

Made it to work (in office like you Sarah) and want to die!! Lol just so tired and 'heavy' feeling if that makes sense also insanely thirsty!!

Sick again this morning despite my tablets so just hoping I can function properly tomorrow before my 730 flight to London, followed by my 12 hour flight for holiday times without too much sickness! I got Sea Bands from Amazon (in the mice pregnancy colour as the grey ones remind new of my car sick childhood!) so hopefully they will help.

Feeling slightly more human after 3 nights proper sleep (we've been having problems with ds sleeping for the last 6 months, wakes up every night without fail and wants to sleep with us).

7w+1 ...wish time would hurry up!

Feeling horrendous again today. Off to midwife booking in appointment at 1, so no work (yay!).

Just worried about coughing up blood. Can't tell if it's from my lungs (normal, I have a lung disease that sometimes does this) or if it's from my oesophagus/stomach/throat from being sick :-/

Coughing up blood doesn't sound good Sasseh :( can you get a docs appt as you are off?

Has anyone thought how they are going to announce their pregnancies to friends and families? I'm so scared and don't know how to do it! Definitely not on social media! It's our birthdays in June so there is the option of inviting everyone round for a birthday party and then surprising them but we aren't really the centre of attention type. Or there is telling everyone individually but then you upset someone by telling someone else first which happened with our engagement. I just want to keep it a secret forever! Lol

Not much point Emily, as off to midwife at 1 so can mention it to her. Only had 2 small spots come up, so looking like it was a busy blood vessel in my lungs from coughing lots yesterday (was dehydrated, which makes my lungs worse).

Emily as we're due on Christmas eve was planning on asking what the parents' Christmas plans are to break the news. My parents declined out invite to come through for Christmas last year. Thinking Mum will be more keen this year!!

Sorry about the EPU cheese - I've noticed that with this pregnancy they seem to have tightened up their rules about when you can go in - working for the NHS myself I'm guessing is because the service is just overwhelmed so they needed to decrease the amount of people they see.

Anyone else losing weight still? I've lost 9 lbs in 5 weeks :( I'm only 5ft, and weighed just over 10st 3lb 5 weeks ago, which put me borderline overweight (boobs!). Worried about this weight loss continuing.

(Oh boy, feel a lot better for throwing up this morning!!)

I've lost half a pound helpful. My DP is currently trying to perfect his cinnamon swirls for a bake-off at work and I am not really struggling with nausea too badly so not much chance here

I'm not weighing myself!! Too scared too!! Midwife weighed me at 7.5 weeks I am seeing her on Saturday at 11.3 but she is coming to me so can't see her weighing me so I remain blissfully ignorant!!

I'm trying to arrange viewings to see all these flats and they never have any times when I'm free! I just got off the phone and cried oh god I'm so hormonal!

Can someone post the stats link so I can put my scan date in :)
