Worried22 · 10/05/2014 20:00

Hi can I join? Due 2nd Dec so almost 11 weeks, my 2nd, have one dd already.

Emily wanted to say the same has been happening to me, brown spotting but not after red/pink. I don't really know what to do, doesn't seem too bad but it's niggling away and making me anxious.

Going to have to put all my jeans away too, finding clothes are getting so tight!

natashaarr · 10/05/2014 20:12

emily I had pink then brown spotting, I went to the out of hours doctor at the hospital and he sent me straight down to the early pregnancy unit and they booked me a scan. I had the scan yesterday and they could see the baby but it had no heart beat yet. The bleeding was just 'bruising' as she called it next to the sac. She said it's very normal and she had a few women in before me that had the same problem! So you should get a scan just incase :) I hope everything's ok for you!

Chipandspuds · 10/05/2014 21:29

Hi everyone, just checking in :)

I had my booking in appt this week and had to take DS as he had an ear infection so couldn't go to nursery (I'd taken a half day holiday from work) and it was a bit of a nightmare tbh, but I won't see that midwife again! She seemed really nervous of taking my blood test as DS wouldn't be separated from me so I said it was fine for him to sit on my lap and I'd make sure he didn't move or interfere.

Anyway never mind, I have my scan date now for 21st May, I'm really excited as it will feel more 'real' then! I definitely feel pregnant this time, with DS I didn't feel at all pregnant until I felt him moving at about 16/17 weeks. This time the sickness and tiredness has got me! It will be lovely to be able to tell people as well, it's hard being off so many foods and feeling so grumpy etc but not being able to say why.

Ahaa DrFunkes you are on Rucking Marvellous!! Me too. Competitive AP has been doing my head in on their the last few weeks. Hoping for a more harmonious page.....

DrFunkesFamilyBandSolution · 11/05/2014 00:30

It's just been weird recently on there! I have a friend on there who doesn't know I'm pregnant so I really have to stop and think before I post

Havig really horrible cramps all day, mixed with bubbling. Far too bloody early to be movement and it's not gas!

omama · 11/05/2014 07:13

cheesecake - yes am absolutely shattered! Can barely keep my eyes open, napping in the afternoons when I can & the evenings are a complete write off! Fed up of feeling sick too, never had any with ds so this is quite different! Looking forward to 2nd trimester - roll on next 2 weeks!

ChineseFireball · 11/05/2014 07:35

God grief this thread moves fast! Was coming to offer condolences to Ziggy but it seems I've missed the boat. ((Hugs)) anyway. And similar to Emily - I hope your spotting is nothing.

Booking in appointment is a week on Monday. Have people told their employers yet? I think I'm going to tell my boss on Monday after three days of feeling utterly horrendous.

Just a quick post today. Hope you're all ok. Not long til we start to bloom...

7+1

Morning all. Felt a bit rubbish yesterday certainly worse than the previous few days and dwelling yucky this morning. Had a nap yesterday pm but do think part of it is being overtired. Hubby wants to go out for brunch this morning but not sure I can face it.

CatFaceCrayola · 11/05/2014 09:37

Feel like I've woken up hungover...not fair.

probably not helped by lack of sleep due to some knobhead woman down the road hammering on a door and screaming obscenities at 4am Angry

Mums coming round today to help me tackle another room and get it sorted. For once I think I'll be glad that she keeps taking over and giving me easy sat down jobs!

8 weeks today....come in 12!!!

Rejjie · 11/05/2014 09:56

CatFace I know exactly what you mean. I've woken up a few times feeling like I've been run over by a bus. Sometimes it really does feel like I've been drinking as I'm such a virtuous teetotaller now. I've noticed it seems to be worse when I've had a long, busy day and not enough sleep.

I've now got a few spots on my chest and back. Lovely! When does the bloody blooming start?

Rejjie · 11/05/2014 09:57

Sorry left a bit out. Meant to say, which is really annoying as I'm such a virtuous teetotaller now. Brain works faster than I can type.

EmilyPinkOrBlue · 11/05/2014 10:59

hi ladies
thank you for thoughts and mentions :)
TMI i seem to be back to creamy discharge which is a good sign and hope it continues!
i spoke to the EPU and she said it might have been something to do with my cervix and thats why i had the red blood and then the brown blood. She didn't seem too concerned and just said to monitor it.
I don't know if i mentioned yesterday with being a little down but i got my dating scan date through for saturday 24th may but my oh is meant to be working so we will have to change which I'm sure will mean it moves further away! boo!
Just sitting here starting to fill in my bump to birthday pregnancy & first year journal :) has anyone else got one?

ziggystarducks · 11/05/2014 11:47

Thanks all for the sweet words of support and kindness, I feel very philosophical about it and if anything lucky to know he or she ever existed, because in the past I wouldn't have ever known.
Just praying now that everything goes ok with this precious little cargo. Suffering from extreme morning sickness now for 4 weeks. Been moved up to Cyclizine; which is very effective so far for me. Only taking 1/3 of what was prescribed because it seems so strong.

But just as I'm feeling a little sorry for myself and yukky, our little 3 yr old just did something to remind me WHY we go through all this!!

He's running around with no pj bottoms on, playing with a 3ft cardboard tube. He likes blowing down the tube to scare the dog!
But this morning he wandered into the kitchen with the tube over his willy and demanded that we "Blow Him"!!!
Cue: Husband and Me literally crying on floor in laughter and him looking confused as to why we're laughing so hard.
Moments like that are just brilliant!! xxx

CatFaceCrayola · 11/05/2014 11:51

My breasts can no longer be contained! I'm opting for sports bra today, but as an E cup (well, I WAS an E cup!) this is not very flattering!

Been looking at maternity bras. I can't afford to buy new ones in different sizes every few months. Anyone any experience of the ones that just come in sizes S M L XL? One size fits all?

Somersetgirl1990 · 11/05/2014 12:04

Glad everything seems ok Emily Smile

Haha ziggy I almost spat my biscuit out reading that! That will be a story to tell his girlfriends in the future Wink

I feel like a terrible excuse for a human being today.. Literally just got out if bed, moved myself to the sofa where I'm sat eating toast and drinking orange juice. I feel ready to go back to bed again!! How is it possible to feel this exhausted!?

SassehMonsta · 11/05/2014 12:11

Thought today was going ok, had some breakfast, took the dog out, speed on the way home and got some treats and toys for him.. but then breakfast made a reappearance when I got home. Now feeling horrible again.

Ladies on walk commented on my face looking slim and that I've lost weight in the last few weeks. Claire seemed worried and made sure I was eating/taking vitamins etc, as she is an army medic! Told her the truth that I'm not eating much and hating it! Hopefully my appetite well reappear soon once the nausea has gone. Booo.

8+6 (come on 12 weeks, get a move on!)

Bra shopping yesterday.

38gg
Shock

It made me cry in the middle if Debenhams. Then the only one I could find was a butt ugly maternity monoboob monstrosity. More tears.

Went to M&S. So much better. Bought some normal Bras.... I dont think these can get much bigger can they????

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 11/05/2014 12:37

BigHairy the only bra I could get in Debs was a Triumph Doreen in 44HH and I'm already busting out of it. Ugh.

Ladylel · 11/05/2014 13:27

Wow this thread is uber speedy! Had to have a quick scan through previous thread as not posted in a while.

Big hairy I took 7 goes to do my test. Tbh should have passed on my 3rd but I had the examiner and chief examiner in the car!!!

We have our first scan on 22nd May, we think it's a sign it's out anniversary and the day befor the wedding. Eeekkk!
Am so excited it's made it's so weird as before hand apart from feeling sick and sore boobs etc the realisation hadn't set in, even seeing the mw didn't make it feel real but getting a letter with a date on for a scan I am so happy :)

Boobs keep getting sore and tingly, nipples are massive ! Shock got measured and gone from C to D.

Discharge wise in the beginning I seemed to get a lot but it's not half as heavy as it was but comes and goes randomly. All clear and non smelly so no concerned there just the extra purchasing of panty liners!

I keep getting cramp on off but mainly at night/early in morning. Along with constantly waking up for a pee. Never ending toilet trips! Also starting to get back hips which I can only assume is sciatica or something. Only when sleeping feels like I've been led funny :/

Exhaustion and tiredness used to be a problem but it's eased off a lot now but I go through stages of feeling totally fine then shortly after I crash so hard!

Have now also finished pregnancare and feel so much better not taking it but am now taking seven seas version and it has ginger in its like a god send keeps the ms at bay! Thank god!

Also think I can feel the womb it's definately tighter above my pubic bone it's nice to just rub it now and again to make me smile :) Other than that I forget I'm pregnant and hopefully it gets easier than harder in the coming weeks!

Hope every ones well and scans/results are positive xx

CallingAllEngels · 11/05/2014 13:41

7w today! Mothers' Day here in the Netherlands - spoiled with earrings and a necklace that I chose and bought and now slobbing on the sofa after coffee with the ILs. Not feeling quite so sick today.

ziggy that's very funny!

PourquoiTuGachesTaVie · 11/05/2014 17:17

Hi everyone sorry I've not been around much but I'm so worried something is going to go wrong that I find it hard to even think about being pregnant much at the moment. I'm 10+4 today and posting to vent and maybe for a little support as I'm so stressed but trying not to be!

My 12 week scan is on the 22nd so I'm stressed about that as it is but this is also the deadline for the last essay of my OU course. I have zero motivation to do it but obviously I have to. I haven't been this stressed since I had to so my driving test, an OU exam and an exam for work all within the same week!

After this essay is done I just need to revise for my exam and complete 2 more shorter and less important essays for my other OU module and then I'm free for the summer. I work term time so I will be free from work too. I can't wait but the 12 week scan is what I'm really dreading and I can't even tell anyone in real life. I have no reason to be so worried but I just can't help it. Sad

SassehMonsta · 11/05/2014 17:35

Oh pour, you poor thing! Hopefully you find some motivation to get the essay done!! Sure everything will be ok at the scan xxx

I'm playing the waiting game to see how long I can keep a sandwich down. Wasn't sure I'd last three first few mins, but up to 30 now!
