Good luck pixie !!!

pickletalk14 · 13/04/2014 09:32

Congrats moomin and isean. Good luck Bornin (tomorrow right) and pixie!

Loads of chat in the last few days ladies! Been away seeing my Mum for her birthday. It's getting quite real now with all these new babies. We're home today and think we'll start to sort through the big pile of baby things and get some washing done. DP has just been thinking about hospital parking... I saw a sign that said it's £1 for the first hour and £1 every 30 mins after. That's motivation for a quick labour if ever I heard it!

Good news here I passed the GTT Smile

ohdearitshappeningtome · 13/04/2014 09:55

Yeh mini me will be born tomorrow! Just had my bloods done.... Just had my 4th night in hospital!

dobedobedo · 13/04/2014 10:10

bornin or ohdear Sooooo exciting! Grin good luck for tomorrow!

ohdearitshappeningtome · 13/04/2014 10:19

This security issue with mn caused me to change name!!!

Currently strapped to monitor as
Baby naughty and doesn't move, to have two ctgs today!

Xavielli · 13/04/2014 11:33

Ugh. I think ds2 might have slapped cheek. Thank goodness it's this end of pregnancy not the other!!

moobaloo · 13/04/2014 11:48

Good luck pixie!!

Good luck for tomorrow ohdear!!

So so exciting

Chip86 · 13/04/2014 13:12

All the best pixie how exciting

ohdear, not long now yay i bet you will be pleased to get out of the hospital, all the best

ClearlyMoo · 13/04/2014 14:21

OhDear are you BornIn the poster previously known as Thistle Confused so confused!

Hope the delivery goes well. Can't believe it's tomorrow! Eeeek!

In other news I have a crazy blotchy face. So attractive (not)! I think it might be a reaction to moisturising (I hardly ever bother)!

Seem to be cycling start stop latent labour symptoms... Cramps/back pain/period pain/ runs/ feeling nauseous/headache but only one or two at once and when I get contractions they are hurty 15mins apart but last 20s so I've decided they're BH for sure. Baby'll probably come in 5 weeks!

Just realised my last post sounded boasty, it wasn't intended as a "look how long I was stitched for" - it was intended to say that if anyone is worried about tearing (it was my biggest worry about childbirth), even being stitched up for two hours wasn't that bad!

Just had the midwife round, my blood pressure is good and Callie is a little jaundiced but not too badly :) including a pic just because I'm so proud Grin hope it works!

All the best Pixie

Best of luck OhDear, it's so exciting! You wait nine months for these Maybies and then they all come along at once Grin

NannyPlumForPM · 13/04/2014 15:23

Awww moomin she's gorgeous!!!

bushprincess · 13/04/2014 15:23

So exciting pixie!!! Goodluck!!!

And for you too bornin /ohdear more maybies on their way!!!

So glad all is looking good moomin she's so gorgeous!!

Chip86 · 13/04/2014 16:23

Moomin she is lovely

clearly the BH are driving me crazy there all the time not regular and im so tired from them im getting headachs again to and really bad mood swings poor dh i go from laughing to crying to stamping feet i have no idea how old i am some were between 2 and teenager ahhhh

dobedobedo · 13/04/2014 16:42

clearly I'm the same as you I think. Every now and then I'll get a run of actual painful BH, only for them to fade away to nothing. They're so sore that my blood runs cold and I think "Shit. This is it. I knew I should have shaved my legs earlier!" Grin

When I was pregnant with ds I never once thought I might be going into labour despite plenty of BH (they were never painful) so it makes me hopeful of not needing to be induced overdue this time!

mrsmummytobe · 13/04/2014 16:52

moomin she is gorgeous!! Sounds like you coped brilliantly with your delivery too.

Eek good luck pixie & ohdear! Sounds like the next maybie will be arriving very soon!

CurlsLDN · 13/04/2014 17:13

Good luck pixie and ohdear! So exciting!

Moomin callie is sooooo cute, love her chubby cheeks!

Went to a breastfeeding workshop put on by the hospital on Friday, it was really good, but at 4 hrs long on hard chairs I was glad when it finished.

I'm 36+4 today. Been feeling a bit blue this week, the aches and pains are really kicking in, walking about is really hard, and I just want to hurry up and get to the exciting stuff! Anyone else feeling like this?

xalyssx · 13/04/2014 17:28

Gabriel is doing really well, he should be ready to come home in 3 weeks Smile

MamaSushi · 13/04/2014 18:44

Good luck Pixie and ohdear.
I'm hoping to have a home birth in a few weeks so would love to know how it goes.
Callie is beautiful Smile

SarahJinx · 13/04/2014 18:52

That's rubbish Xavielli the absolute last thing you need in late pregnancy is a poorly child , espesh with others to look after too. Hope he's ok.

Hope all goes well tomorrow Bornin sorry I can't scroll on IPad and can't remember new name.

The loveliest of news Alyss Gabriel is such a battler, his little story is quite amazing. So nice that he's doing so well. Hope you're ok too, I bet you can't wait to get him home?

Callie is lovely Moomin.

Hope everyone is enjoying the sunny weekend. I start Mat leave tomorrow, but its half term too so not quite the rest I'd like! DS nursery is closed and generally we pay for holiday cover, can't really justify it next week! Feel like there is loads to do, there isn't really, I might stay in my jams all day!

MasterFlea · 13/04/2014 20:07

Curls I'm feeling the same. Crying for nothing,
hate being so immobile. And hate the PGP pain.

Loving the photo Moomin. What a cutie! Hope you heal quickly.

Great news Alyss.

ClearlyMoo · 13/04/2014 20:57

MoominMummy! Callie is BEAUTIFUL! You lucky thing! How much did she weigh on arrival?

Hope pixie is getting on ok.

Moomin - look at those cute little cheeks I just want to squish them!!! Gorgeous.

Alyss - bet you can't wait to get your little man home! So pleased he's doing well.

Curls - I have had the blues this weekend too - been unable to sleep and even cried at the London marathon coverage earlier. Am an emotional bloody wreck!

Glad it's a 4 day week this week and next....

ClearlyMoo · 13/04/2014 21:30

Hezbean I was a wreck watching charity stories on marathon!
