My dh is sooo annoying this baby will be baby no name probably for ever!!

Just thought id come by and let you know I'm team blue ella I have 2 boys too and would love a girl but I wouldn't trade then for anything and same goes for baby no.3 he looks a little fatty already! Hes very plump, was facing us and was wriggling around!
She said I can see something sticking up, she pointed and it was his willy so he was flashing!

My friend has lent me the first time parent by Lucy Atkins & your baby week by week by simone cave & she said they are both fantastic. She said the week by week book was spot on for her baby.

Congrats on all the scan news.

My ms is back this week, not sure what that's about! Had an osteopath appointment yesterday & she said she could feel I was nauseous & that it is likely to be as result of my lingering anxiety after the 2 mc & having my scan tomorrow. Hoping it will subside once we know everything is ok.

Have to say I didn't think I minded either way but am very very hay with my little girl :) DS has been walking round ever since holding nthe picture saying 'I have a little sister!' :)

Congratulations to everyone! Can't wait to find out what we're having but I have to wait until 20+6 on 15th May grrr!

All ok at the 20 week scan today, so relieved! I want to chill out about the whole thing now.... Oh, and definitely a boy

Baby is proper thumping me today... Feels really weird! Taking me a bit to get used to.

I'm getting a lot of pain and discomfort low down, right in my pelvis, hurts when I sit for too long or when I stand up/bend forwards. Is that normal?

My SIL lent me Your Baby Week by Week and it was good for a few pointers as to what they should be doing at any given point.
If any of you want to feel your baby go nuts inside you go to a loud concert!!! Me and DH went to see ThePianoGuys last night (if you don't know who they are, look on you tube if you like piano music done with a difference) Anyway baby did not stop moving the entire time, my abdomen actually was feeling a bit bruised after! Loved it though!
I'm 2 weeks off my scan and am getting impatient with all the news, congrats to everyone :-)

Is there a reason the list is constantly being reset in here? I know people have dropped off since the beginning, but it's already been reset several times since then. Not everyone has time to check in every day, but that doesn't mean we should be dropped from the list!

People are adding their team blue and pink news on mostly kicks. The list has only been reset once right at the beginning if this current thread when rockin asked people to put their stats on again in bold so she could redo the list. Some people were missed off as they gave their stats again after rockin had done the list. So those people are adding themselves back on now too, which is probably why it seems like the list keeps being reset. Hope that makes sense :)

Had our down syndrom results back yesterday and tbh im pretty upset about them

with my first my result was around 1 in 12000, with my second it was around 1 in 17000. This time its 1 in 240!
When i read the letter i literally thought they had missed a digit somewhere, this couldnt be right. but there was a second letter (one came from my doctor and one from the hospital) both said the same. Spent all of last night googling to find out more. i know its only a 0.4% chance but how on earth and why has this test come out almost in the high risk zone (high risk is 1 in 150 or less where i live). Been crying at work today and cant stop worrying. Just wish i never had the stupid thing done now, has anyone else had similar results to this - how do you feel?

Congrats to everyone. Sorry I haven't had a chance to check-in for a couple of days. I'm in that post-holiday / back-to-work madness where just going through my e-mails at work yesterday felt like a mammoth task! So exciting to see all the team blue and pink news. My scan still feels like ages away (2nd May). All my scans seems to have been later than a lot of people's (will be 20+2 by scan day) and I was 13+1 when I had first scan. Really jealous of all you ladies who know already! Not that I really mind if I'm blue or pink, I'm just really impatient to find out so can start buying some bits for baby!

Getting a bit stressed about our 'nursery' right now. To clarify our 'nursery' is currently a spare room filled with tons of junk, which is going to take a lot of work to sort through / clear out. We've made some work on it. But I'm finding it harder and harder to do physical work and DH has recently been struggling with severe back pain / sciatica and is struggling too to do much physical work. Wish I had a magic wand at times like this!

Also, can I be really cheeky and ask a personal question. How much weight have you ladies put on so far? I'm 18+1 and this morning found out I'd put on 13 pounds since start of pregnancy! 7 pounds of which has gone in past 3 weeks (definitely more the holiday's fault than babys)! I suspect I'm a bit over average weight gain (as I say, due to holiday eating) but I don't know how much weight is normal to have gained by this point. A bit freaked out this morning!

Mummyto3tobe I can understand why you are upset. Can you ring your midwife to discuss the results? They could maybe talk with you about doing more tests or something if that was something that you think you wanted for a bit more clarification? Really sorry to hear that you are going through this.

^That should say 7 pounds of which has gone on in past 3 weeks, not 'gone in 3 weeks'!

Congrats to everyone finding out if its team blue or pink! One week to go till we find out :) kitkat I weighed myself yesterday, was at the wrong time of day but I was horrified that I'd put on about 12 pounds! But I have also gone up two cupsizes so think my boobs weigh a bit more now! I need to desperately go shopping after Easter for some new bras literally squeezing into my old ones :/ thanks everyone for recommending different places though ill have a shop around!

Hey kitkat! I was 13+1 at my scan and have my 20 week on the 2nd May too!

I'll be exactly 20 weeks at my scan, only a week and a day left! I wish I could just be excited about finding out what we're having but it's tainted by an underlying terror about finding out something's wrong :( can't seem to shake the worry!

KitKat I still haven't dared weigh myself but I'm sure I have definitely put on quite a few pounds!

Just had to buy a new vacuum cleaner as my Dyson went kaput :( Have got a Vax one instead now as Dysons are a bit pricey with needing to buy baby stuff too. Anyway, I had a right 'You know you're pregnant when' moment when I realised I'd forgot my Tesco £5 off when you spend over £40 thing it made me actually cry! (When I got back to the car lol)

Just feeling a bit low today in general really. KitKat My nursery room to be still requires a lot of work too which is driving me crazy also as I can't do much myself.

My friend (the one who had great delight in telling me that birth horror story last week) wants to come round for me to try on a bridesmaid dress for her wedding in October but I'm not really in the mood :( Also wondering how it will work having a 7 or 8 week old baby and being a bridesmaid.

Chocolate will make me feel better I think!

Hey thanks for the replies so far. Glad I'm not the only one who has put on a few pounds already! My boobs have also got bigger Kt1991. In fact I may pop into town in a bit and buy some more bigger ones, as I got a few bigger ones already but not managing to keep on top off the laundry enough so keep having to squeeze into my old ones and it's all starting to get a bit uncomfortable! Exciting to have a scan buddy as well polkadotdelight! x

HippyJess I know what you mean about having scan nerves. I always get a bit anxious pre-scans as get terrified in case they something is wrong.

Sorry to hear you are having a bad day topmammy. I would possibly talk to your friend when she does come around about your anxieties about going to the wedding with a young baby. If she's a good friend hopefully she'll understand if you need to leave early etc. xxx

afternoon everyone, its so lovely to see all the blue/pink news! it look fairly even so far. Im 20weeks on Saturday but my scan is on the following Wednesday and I think we have decided to find out the sex. DH said if they cant see then we can have a private scan to find out!

We are currently moving rooms around and re-organising and Im hoping to paint the nursery in a few weeks or so.

Ive not weighed myself for a few weeks but last check was a 4lb gain- Ive since made a chocolate fudge cake- a huge one so that wont have helped!

Does anyone follow any pregnancy blogs at all? I follow a lady on youtube called laura lovestovlog (I think that's how you spell it) Im also looking on youtube at what products have been a godsend etc. making my lists.
