Not until 18/12 Zermatt, how about you?

DH has def earned some brownie points this morning.

PolytheneGirl · 22/04/2014 08:54

Good luck with the Doc Treacle!

Treaclepie19 · 22/04/2014 08:54

Thank you :) I don't know yet zermatt, I've only just had blood taken for my thyroid. 2 days before I found out haha.

Stupidly tested with another digi this morning (16dpo) to see if it had changed from 1-2 weeks. It hasn't :(

Treaclepie19 · 22/04/2014 08:54

Thanks poly :)

Zermatt · 22/04/2014 09:24

I'm due on 23rd dec. :)

Treaclepie19 · 22/04/2014 09:30

Day before me zermatt! :)

sazzlehopes · 22/04/2014 11:30

Hey poly! Love being called auntie Saz!
Don't worry about food like runny eggs and the odd bit of cured meats. I am even eating blue cheese and other unpasterised cheese in small quantities. I only buy organic where i can (we are a veggie household and we feel strongly about animal welfare even with just dairy - so hence the organic stuff!!) otherwise i think we'd be vegan...but i could never give up CHEESE!!!!!!!! So you should only avoid the food that can actually damage baby - too much booze, or pate because of the vit a...otherwise the rest is just so you don't get sick but the chances really are so small. And obviously any cooked cheese is fine because the heat will kill any baddies... so enjoy your dippy eggs!

barmy so great you've made it to 10 weeks - not long til your scan now. Sorry you are being sick every day though, that sucks!

treacle apparently those diggies are notoriously bad at moving up dates when you think they should. Don't worry - it could be so many factors as to when you actually conceived you got not be as far on as you thought or the diggie might not have picked it up. You are pregnant, so try and relax in that knowledge! Although I'm a fine one to talk, I was still using cheap preggo test right up to my scan date! Easter Blush

Choccywoccydodah · 22/04/2014 11:37

Hello ladies, sorry I've not been around.

Aaaaaagggghhhhhhh! Choccy that is AMAZING! I couldn't be happier for you! that's the first time I've seen a scan pic in months without wanting to murder someone Hello Choccy Bean!! Grin Grin Grin

PolytheneGirl · 22/04/2014 11:54

Congrats Knotty I must have completely missed you BFP, sorry. Did you get it today? How are you feeling? Thanks

Choccywoccydodah · 22/04/2014 12:10

Thanks ladies. Been a bit of an emotional rollercoaster here!
Early days and I had a bleed this morning and membrane came away and rang to cancel scan.they told me to go in anyway and so glad I did! They think there may have been 2, or maybe left from last month, or worst case the start of this one.
Tests have been showing not a lot and not getting darker, hence I went to cancel too.
Got to go easy over the next few weeks on hol an try and get a scan in 2 weeks to check it's developing.
Have rang nhs 111 and they can't tell me about costs of scans etc or where to get them in France. Totally disgusting how people can come here and get free treatment but it's so difficult over the water!
Time will tell, but fingers are crossed.

Treaclepie19 · 22/04/2014 12:51

Was it a private scan choccy?
I hope all develops well :)

Rest up! I'm trying to do as little as possible on doctors advice. Won't really happen when I'm back at work though.

sazzlehopes · 22/04/2014 13:53

Arghhh CHOCCY!!!!!!! I'm so pleased to see you on here and that picture too. Really has made my day. Oh please do rest up and make sure that lovely easter egg of yours stays put. I hope you can stay on this bus all the way to december. Keep us posted please. When you off on hols? xx

Knottyknitter · 22/04/2014 14:16

Hadn't posted about BFP until now really, as was at MILs for Easter. There were a rocky few hours waiting for DP to be on his own so I could tell him (walk to off licence for a little irony!) then feeling really ok (minor queasies, ok with sea bands so far, struggling to decaffinate a bit) until I got in a bump with my car this lunchtime.

All ok, minor scrape to bumper only, at pretty much 1 mph, and that is what they're there for, but drive back to office mumbling "it's ok bumplet, mummy's here" wasn't how I expected my first day working and pregnant!

All sorted already re insurance, and have booked booking as it were (3 phone calls and on hold for ever, but sorted, and have the morning off without having to go into why! )

Choccywoccydodah · 22/04/2014 16:22

No not a private scan, I phoned epu last week as prof Quenby couldn't get me in til this Friday but we are going away Thursday.
I saw the same scan lady who scanned me last time (number 3) who referred me as such to prof Quenby.
I'm still bleeding a little bit and it's dark pinky so I'm hoping the little one is clinging on tightly. It's only when I wipe and I'm still on progesterone so I'm bleeding through that even so it's a bit touch and go!

Congrats everyone who's got their bfps by the way! How incredibly rude of me!!!!

Ahh right, fingers crossed all is well :)
Doctor was shit. I've just come out and burst into tears. She did an internal examination which was so painful I nearly cried then and there. She said basically at this point we don't know what the spotting or pain means. If it gets really sharp go to hospital. She hasn't booked my midwife or anything yet which pissed me off. She wants me to go back next week. If anythings carried on then they'll do a scan.
Basically made me feel like there's no chance. DH says it's not like that but I'm a bit sensitive at the moment.

PolytheneGirl · 22/04/2014 17:42

Aww Treacle Thanks Doctors just have no concept that they are dealing with actual people, who have worries and emotions. I'm sure everything is fine. Stuff her! I think a big piece of choccy cake and a duvet on the settee are in order! Cake Dragon

Treaclepie19 · 22/04/2014 18:19

You're right poly :)
We had chips from the chip shop with loads of vinegar as that's what I fancied. Now time for a quilt on the sofa, an easter egg and enjoying the Dragon :) even if my insides feel like they're being ripped apart haha

MundayCakes85 · 22/04/2014 18:20

Lovely to see your little Easter egg Choccy FX it's nice and sticky in there! You definitely deserve it.
Treacle sorry to hear the doctor wasn't more supportive, hopefully the spotting goes away soon.

Treaclepie19 · 22/04/2014 18:27

Thanks munday, I think its gone now which is why I expected a more positive appointment but still.

barmybunting · 22/04/2014 18:53

You have been a chatty bunch today Smile.

Knotty, congratulations!! So pleased for you. Your bump in the car must have given you a fright today. Take it easy and rest if you need to. How are you tonight?

Choccy, utterly over the moon to see your update. I'm on my phone so can't see your scan but I am off to find a computer to see now Smile. Rest, rest and more rest for you to keep that little Easter egg safe!

Treacle, that Dr sounds crap! That 'a the last thing you needed, I'm sorry. Go to the hospital if you need to. Hopefully it is just settling in. It is a worrying time and I know you must just want time to hurry up. We are here to wait with you. How are you feeling now?

Poly, thank you, yes I am the one covering the mat cover. How are you getting on?

Sazzle and Munday, I like your advise about what to eat Smile. I am sticking to that!

I am mightily relieved tonight. I told the headteacher about pregnancy after school today, I couldn't 'to bear to wait until tomorrow. His first words were "well done Dear! How are you feeling?" He couldn't have been nicer about it and agreed I could stay until the summer then finish up, but would be paid over the summer. I am so pleased that is out of the way!

Today wasn't great in class with sickness but at least it's a short week and term!!
