We don't care when you're due! We just want a giggle and be silly!
We've jumped off the busses but still want a little craziness!

Yes I heard that too Chilly, and you're quite far along so they may just be going backwards!

Well with my constipation mildly subsiding (see Jan bus for the horrendous story), the pain in my boobs getting less and no more symptoms appearing then I constantly have to remind myself that I got a positive test last week and haven't had a period yet. Think I need to do a reassurance CB digi.

PolytheneGirl · 08/05/2014 18:21

Step away from the tests!!!!!! Please don't keep testing, the hcg in your blood/urine rises to such a level at between 6-9 weeks that it doesn't show up so well or even at all on HPTs. You'll drive yourselves bonkers!

I'm very happy sat here in a brand new mahoosive bra! I've been and raided M&S today and it feels soooooo good!

Less nauseous today but man alive I'm tired. Got visitors coming tomorrow morning so I'm going to nap now and clean like a woman possessed later!

fancyacupoftea · 08/05/2014 18:55

Sorry - mood ruining post about to happen. Feeling very sorry for myself. Convinced that something is wrong but have no evidence other than the lack of symptoms and boobs hurting less. Too early to book an early scan (5+6). Does anyone else ever have feelings of this? Is there anything I can do?
Sorry to be all negative, I hate being like this!

Treaclepie19 · 08/05/2014 19:03

I can't offer much help fancy except that I felt very similar! Many places will scan from 6 weeks if you wanted though.

Tmi alert, Im worried about my boobs! My nipples are surrounded by little pink lumps like spots. Wondering if I have a bit of an infection/blockage or if it's normal? :/

MademoiselleG · 08/05/2014 19:34

Fancy, I think we would be lying if we said that we don't all feel like this at times. The irony of pregnancy is that you spend the whole first trimester saying "stay in! Please stay in!" and then the last one thinking "GET THE HELL OUT"!!

The only thing I can say is that there is no reason why something should go wrong. The statistics are what they are - and sadly, at this early stage, if something did go wrong, no amount of worrying about it would do it any good... The best we can do is to vent our anxiety here or with trusted people in RL and wait to get confirmation at 12 weeks that all is well! I do think that organising some kind of a feel good activity or having something to look forward to quite regularly (for me, it's currently: going to bed, hurray!) does take your mind off the worrying. And if you can afford it, book a private reassurance scan? Thanks

Treaclepie19 · 08/05/2014 19:36

Thanks mademoiselle, wise words!
I'm still worried about my boobs though haha.

I think it would be a lot easier without work. I have another football match to attend on Saturday morning. I so don't want to go.

Sorry for moaning.

fancyacupoftea · 08/05/2014 19:50

Treacle I know the answer to that one! It's completely normal! Along with the areola darkening then bumps on them form as well - completely normal. More prominent when the nipple is erect too maybe?

Thanks for the lovely words. We haven't told a sausage yet so I really do just have you amazing lot and I'm very grateful for that!

Think I will have a reassurance scan. Is it from 6 weeks?

PolytheneGirl · 08/05/2014 19:55

Treacle I believe they are called your Montgomery Glands and they're normal and get slightly bigger when pg. I'd never noticed any at all before my first pg.

Fancy I completely agree with Madem. No news is good news in the first tri. Try to relax and conserve you energy. Vent away....

MademoiselleG · 08/05/2014 20:03

I think you get to see something from 6 weeks. I was referred for one at 5+3 last time round and they couldn't see much other than the yolk sac (charming!) so I was asked to come back two weeks later at 7+5 and we saw a flicker for the heartbeat and dd who looked like a tiny dragonfly!

Poly glad to hear you have comfy nips now. And Treacle yes, totes normo Wink

Just keep moaning and venting guys - the beauty of these forums is that when one has a bad day, the other has a good day and then we swap and start all over again Grin! I too am so grateful to have you all...

Treaclepie19 · 08/05/2014 20:04

Phew :) thanks ladies. They sort of look like there's white lumps there? Seem to be going down a bit now my bra is off.

I'm so feeling like I could just call in sick tomorrow!!!

Fancy, I think that it's hard not having anyone in real life to talk to though. May be part of your worry?
All the places I looked at are from 6 weeks :)

Treaclepie19 · 08/05/2014 20:06

Oh what a roller coaster :p

fancyacupoftea · 08/05/2014 20:07

On second thoughts, I might just wait for my booking appointment first (whenever that is).

So... anyone got any good or happy news/thoughts today??

PolytheneGirl · 08/05/2014 20:10

..... I have my booking appointment tomorrow!

Treaclepie19 · 08/05/2014 20:16

That's exciting poly! :)

I need to remember to ring to get mine sorted.

fancyacupoftea · 08/05/2014 20:22

Very exciting Poly! How far are you now?

I've been referred for mine, just waiting to hear back.

PolytheneGirl · 08/05/2014 20:25

8weeks today. I'm still waiting to hear from the hospital though. I've got to call my GP tomorrow if I don't get anything in the post. I. Dreading getting on those scales though!

PolytheneGirl · 08/05/2014 20:26

Oh and I'm officially half way through the 8ww!

Treaclepie19 · 08/05/2014 20:28

Seems to be moving quickly now poly :)

MademoiselleG · 08/05/2014 21:01

(TReacle, it might have been gestational - woops! I can't remember a thing!)

MundayCakes85 · 08/05/2014 21:23

My good news is that DH felt a bit of a kicking session last night. Can't believe how much I can feel going on in there before 20 weeks (this is my first-I thought it would take longer!)
I think everyone has those "I feel fine...is everything ok?" thoughts. I only had painful boobs and tiredness in the first 12 weeks, hope that helps reassure some of you Smile
19+4

fancyacupoftea · 08/05/2014 21:26

Oh that is lovely news Munday! A little moving baby!

That does make me feel better, thank you Smile

Treaclepie19 · 08/05/2014 21:28

Haha oh ok then mademoiselle :)

Aww munday, that's lovely! So glad you and baby are doing well :)

MademoiselleG · 08/05/2014 22:00

Yay munday, how very exciting! I remember this to be such a special time last time round: everybody would be pretending to be concentrating during meetings and I would just be in complete sync with bean swimming and kicking, daydreaming and smiling to myself! E N J O Y Grin

MundayCakes85 · 08/05/2014 23:17

Thanks everyone- lots for us all to look forward too Grin

MelMc73 · 09/05/2014 06:02

Hi there. Sorry for lack of communication! Had a stressful week at work and emotional blackmail from my father to deal with. Long story but we're not speaking. He's a bullying b***d!
Goodness me what a bunch of worriers we are. I'm 3+6 and getting cramps still and backache
My abdominals have bloated very quickly. I worry every time I feel a cramp! Nips getting more tender by the day! Ordered a load of tunic tops and elasticated waistband trousers yesterday from next lol.
I've been waking up at stupid o'clock every morning recently....like 4am etc! Most annoying!
Anyway we're off in our caravan for the weekend. Half day at work Woohoo!
