Thank you Smile.

I have found that savoury popcorn and copious amounts of milk are the only thing to vaguely help ease my morning sickness. We are getting through gallons of milk at the moment!

You can get ginger sweets called gin gins which also worked for me for a bit. It absolutely sucks though!

Treaclepie19 · 07/05/2014 18:58

I think my nausea is edging in. I'm starving today but when I eat I feel so sick. Unless it's a wispa... :s then I reel fine!

Treaclepie19 · 07/05/2014 18:58

*feel

fancyacupoftea · 07/05/2014 19:00

No sickness here at all. This is not a good thing when the book you've been reading was banging on about how nausea = a healthy pregnancy.

Only symptom still sore boobs!

Barmy that's brilliant news! Can't believe you saw your little wriggler! How did it feel?

PolytheneGirl · 07/05/2014 19:01

I'm the other way, if I'm hungry I feel sick so I have to force food down me to settle my stomach. How the hell did you fall off your chair? Are u ok?

PolytheneGirl · 07/05/2014 19:03

Fancy I think that is just one of those things they say to make us sick ones feel better. I had no ms with DS and he was as strong as an ox!

sazzlehopes · 07/05/2014 19:05

Congrats barmy on good scan news! That's so great.
Ive had no ms this time round or in my last pg...so I feel grateful really! I have however been craving salt, carbs and spicey food though by the truckload. Oh and any 'dirty' crisps I can lay my hands on. Monster munch, onion rings, nik naks....you get the idea. A picture of healthy eating me!!

Treaclepie19 · 07/05/2014 19:28

Oh poly, I'm so accident prone. It's a computer chair so I bent down t get something from under mydesk and the wheels moved it from under me.
I'm ok but pulled muscles everywhere it seems.

Just had a full on crying fit at DH as I have to cut my seven seas vitamin in half and I swallowed half but dropped the other on the floor.
I am pathetic today!

barmybunting · 07/05/2014 19:55

Fancy, I think I read somewhere that only 25% of pregnancies include morning sickness, so try not to worry about lack of it. It's easier said than done though, isn't it?

Anyone else ready for Friday yet?

It was really strange to see Fancy, baby was kicking off the sides of my womb and swimming around, so strange when I can't feel it yet either! It was lovely timing as today is DH's 30th birthday, he has been grinning from ear to ear all day!

MelMc73 · 07/05/2014 21:02

Morning sickness.....what morning sickness. None here yet. I didn't have any last time either so hoping it'll stay that way! Beem drinking lots of water and herbal/decaf tea....very stressful day at work though. Almost reached for the wine lol. Then remembered I can't lol!

Congratulations on successful scan barmy!

Starbright24 · 07/05/2014 21:05

Swimming ? Lol. Lovely to hear barmy.

Only 4+5 so still early to get ms for me. First Dr's appointment tomorrow after work. OH even coming with me as he wants his fertility test results. Haha. I told him he works.

hope you'r ok treacle

I've been reading that book too fancy - got sore nipps though so reckon I still got symptoms even if it's not ms.

Treaclepie19 · 07/05/2014 21:07

Thanks starbright, I'm going to bed (I know) so hoping to feel better tomorrow :)

MademoiselleG · 07/05/2014 21:09

Barmy, that's such great news! Hurray for happy, healthy Penis Dragon babies!

I am SO sorry about my 17 billion posts this morning - it seems like the app played up big time and just randomly posted the message all these times, even though it told me that the connection failed. Woops!

I am fishing out the preggo clothes this weekend. I really don't want people at work to know for ages though partly because I was so useless during my 1st trimester last time round but also because it's very gossipy. But I am so bloated I look 4 months at least...Urgh!

fancyacupoftea · 07/05/2014 21:42

Your million posts made me laugh first thing this morning Mademoiselle and things rarely do that so there is nothing to be sorry for!

I'm sitting here rubbing my large bloated belly. The insatiable appetite hasn't helped!

MademoiselleG · 07/05/2014 21:55

Aaah - glad to hear that fancy! Did you enjoy seeing your name written a billion times? And being asked the saaame question over and over again? Bit like at school, mind!

Ok. I know where the door is. Ahem.

Off to rub bloated belly in sync with fancy.

fancyacupoftea · 07/05/2014 22:14

I can't even remember if I answered now! "Loose tops for work" was the answer.

IT'S THE GREAT BRITISH BLOAT OFF. A load of women sit around for a few months and bake a really big bloat. Mel and Sue present.

MademoiselleG · 07/05/2014 22:19

You did answer - I was just re-enacting the moment in my head. Hence why I found my own way to the door.

Haha for the GBBloat Off - I am a serious contender right now!

fancyacupoftea · 07/05/2014 22:22

Did I mention I bought loose tops for work?

MademoiselleG · 08/05/2014 06:54

Pah!

Could someone please go to work for me? I can hear the rain and I really can't be bothered with getting out of bed...

Treaclepie19 · 08/05/2014 07:17

Ugh I'm with you mademoiselle, I went to bed early and I'm just as tired! Headache and feel sick also.
Bed please?

Tilly28 · 08/05/2014 07:30

Definitely could do with going back to bed! Not feeling too bad at the moment if anything feel worse in the evening. Definitely bloated, by the end of the day I'm having to undo my trousers and got sore nipples! Getting into report writing time now and I so don't feel in the mood for that! :-/

lindamagoo · 08/05/2014 08:09

God damn you to hell thrush Angry Feeling very sorry for myself Sad

Plus side though, I'm not feeling sick and I'm starving, bring on the food Smile

PolytheneGirl · 08/05/2014 08:49

Pulls covers back over head!

chillychicken · 08/05/2014 10:58

Ugh, I’ve been having some horrible, horrible dreams. All focussed around miscarriage Sad Stupidly, after a particularly nasty dream last night, I POAS this morning and the test line was lighter than the control line. First time that’s happened. I was hoping for reassurance and didn’t get it.

I still can’t seem to believe that everything will be ok. I keep saying “hopefully I’ll be having a baby in December”

Anyway, symptoms are all pretty much the same – still getting nausea, although it’s nowhere near as bad as it was at 6-7 weeks. Falling out of bra so need to get to a shop to buy some more. I’ve lost 3lbs since finding out I was pregnant so I’m looking a little less bloated and definitely have a hardening in my lower abdomen. Today I constantly need a wee and have pain in my abdomen when I go so I think my bladder is being squashed a fair bit.

I came down with a cold Tuesday night which isn’t great as I’m super busy at work and all I want to do is stay in bed. Still, I have no plans for the weekend and I don’t intend to move off the sofa.

Still waiting for a date for my 12 week scan.

9+1

Treaclepie19 · 08/05/2014 17:11

Ugh I'm home. Had to go and watch a school football match so beem stood in the pouring rain. Forgot my trainers so my feet are soaked.

What a day.

Try not to worry chilly, apparently after a certain amount of time pregnancy tests start being unreliable.
