Did they seem concerned Treacle? Have you got a date for another scan or just bloods? Got all my fingers and toes crossed for you.

I've just tried on the new bra I got today and it's too bloody small....... I want to cry! trivial I know but I'm too bloody hormonal

fancyacupoftea · 30/04/2014 21:28

Shame they couldn't see more Treacle but hopefully all is well.

Oh Chilli so sorry to read you're not feeling good today. Hopefully this is just part of the emotional rollercoaster I've heard about. Are you feeling any better this evening?

fancyacupoftea · 30/04/2014 21:29

I definitely didn't order a parenting book earlier. You can't prove anything.

Tilly28 · 30/04/2014 21:31

Ooooh what did you order fancy I want to order a good one?

fancyacupoftea · 30/04/2014 21:50

I got this one Tilly because it's all science based and I teach Psychology so I can get my geek on over it! d

Treaclepie19 · 30/04/2014 22:02

They didn't seem concerned, just seemed to think it was too early.
Hopefully my hcg increase will be ok. Feeling quite down tonight. Not sure how I'll cope with work tomorrow.

I forgot to take my seven seas pregnancy tablet too. Just tried and I couldn't swallow the bloody thing. Had to have a trying for a baby one instead.

fancyacupoftea · 30/04/2014 22:09

Treacle what's in the seven seas one? I was just going to take Folic Acid and Vit D, do I need the whole shebang?

Treaclepie19 · 30/04/2014 22:16

There seems to be everything in it lol.
I don't think you really need it all to be honest!

fancyacupoftea · 30/04/2014 22:17

Too late. Already ordered some out of panic.

Does the panic stay until baby turns 18?

Treaclepie19 · 30/04/2014 22:42

Haha fancy, I imagine it lasts longer than that :p

PolytheneGirl · 30/04/2014 22:50

I'm on the seven seas too.... They are mahoosive!

I'm sure all is fine with the scan, if I learnt anything from my last pg it's that they tend to panic over everything so if they weren't everything must be normal.

I lent all my pg books to SIL in January when she announced she was pg and now I have nothing to obsess over Sad

Treaclepie19 · 30/04/2014 22:52

Thanks poly, it's really hard to tell what they were thinking. They just said the blood tests would help to know whats going on.
Going to bed now. So feel like calling in sick tomorrow.

PolytheneGirl · 30/04/2014 22:59

Can I ask a (tmi) question? Anyone had ewcm? I've had a lot of creamy cm since ov but I've just been to the loo and I def have ewcm tonight. No idea if this is normal Confused

Tilly28 · 01/05/2014 06:57

I was going to ask about that too, iv felt really wet (TMI) down there although not sure if I'm just paranoid. Lol!

Had a dull cramp across my stomach since about 5am this morning. Never really had period pain so not sure what to describe it like. Hoping it's my uterus stretching and nothing more sinister. Anyone else getting that?

fancyacupoftea · 01/05/2014 07:06

I'm getting really creamy cm but I expect to have all types of cm over the next few weeks. My preggo book said expect lots of discharge so I'm sure ewcm is okay.

ICs really are rubbish aren't they. The line is there and getting a bit stronger but it's only a small improvement every day.

I had a really light sleep last night and woke up feel refreshed and of course am telling myself something must be wrong because Google tells me I should be tired.these next few weeks are going to be loooooong.

fancyacupoftea · 01/05/2014 07:07

And yes tilly I'm getting dull cramps! Also really bloated so I've already said goodbye to my waistline. It's been good, I don't ever expect to see you again my old friend.

Zermatt · 01/05/2014 08:28

I've been finding it really hard to sleep and not feeling that knackered despite getting less hours, plus have had lots of cramps on and off sporadically and also the CM. I think its all to be expected. Haven't had MS yet just a lovely constant feeling of nausea that goes away briefly when I fill me boots thats better.

I read on BBC news website yesterday that what a mother eats in the run up to conception and first trimester can actually change the DNA of their babber. Thought to myself, shit.

Knottyknitter · 01/05/2014 09:57

Just all day general sporadic quaesiness for me (morning sickness - ha!) but the combo of mouth ulcer and cold sore was certainly something i could have done without! (have looked it up, zovirax is ok but bonjela i can't work out)

Knottyknitter · 01/05/2014 09:58

Im going with pregnacare vitamins btw. Not too horse-pill ish, but have everything in.

Zermatt · 01/05/2014 10:09

Yeah those multivitamin pills can really exacerbate the feelings of nausea, I had to change mine as I think it was making me much worse.

chillychicken how are you feeling today? I hope the blues are subsiding, I'm sure all the surges in hormones and changes in your body probably aren't helping things at all, plus it is a daunting time. If telling your friend is making you worry, can you come up with another excuse for not drinking? Maybe tell her that you have a urine infection, or are on antibiotics, alternatively you could just say you are trying for a baby and have been recommended not to drink while you try?

Treacle I am sure that it's simply because it's such early days that there wasn't much for you to see, so don't worry about it. I've been offered an early scan as they do dating scans here but have decided to wait for 12 wks when I will hopefully be able to see more. Plus I am certain when we conceived due to the bastard sticks.

fancyacupoftea · 01/05/2014 12:49

zermatt so pleased to hear we're experiencing the same symptoms, made me relax a little bit.

PolytheneGirl · 01/05/2014 13:41

Hi all. Hope everyone is feeling ok today. I finally saw the GP this morning. I was so worried I was going to get a bollocking but my dr couldn't have been nicer. Said congratulations and sat and wrote me an urgent referral to the consultant led antenatal while I waited, said I should hear within a week. Gave me a prescriptions for high dose folic acid and wished me luck. I have actually relaxed a bit for the first time in weeks! Smile

chillychicken · 01/05/2014 15:52

Thanks guys, I feel a bit better today Smile I'm contemplating an early scan, despite deciding two days ago not to have one. I'm 8+1 today. I have no real reason to think there are any problems I'm just impatient Any thoughts?

Sorry for short message, work is mental and my head is just whirring with "yes or no" for a scan.

I wish I could just make a decision and stick to it Grin

PolytheneGirl · 01/05/2014 16:24

Hi Chilly, you sound as indecisive as me. I think I'd try to wait if I could as the longer you wait the more you'll see but I suppose they are called a reassurance scan for a reason. Sorry I'm no help at all Confused

Treaclepie19 · 01/05/2014 17:50

Glad your gp was so good poly :)

Haha chilly, I hope you can decide about your scan! :)
