howly glad it's not just me, why would you give up creme eggs and mini eggs- 2 of my favourite things may have to stock up for post easter...?

Big hello to roxy!

Gutted to say we didn't have said bbq :-( was yummy though and did enjoy the sunshine still :-)

Incapinka · 16/03/2014 20:12

Hmmmmm mini eggs... If only we had some!! I have however eaten an entire packet of chocolate covered hobnobs.

Plate last week I felt hardly any movement. My placenta is at the front and that muffles kicks and think it depends where and how they are lying. This week I have felt loads...

I am feeling that lovely tiredness you get when you have been outside lots. I did my first dressage competition on my horse which I bought the month before I got pregnant (typical timing!) and he behaved impeccably and won which was a massive surprise. (As was the fact I could fit into my riding clothes still!!) Hope everyone else has had lovely Sundays...

BlueC2 · 16/03/2014 20:35

Well despite my awful night last night we have had a lovely day and DH v pleased as he got to BBQ dinner. I also managed to list more stuff on eBay and do the ironing! But my legs have started twitching with tiredness and I too have the rib pain (left side only) so am now tucked up in bed :) hoping for a better night tonight and that the tiredness from last night doesn't knock me out tomorrow! Night all!

jaykay987 · 16/03/2014 21:26

hmmm...mini eggs Grin

mrsb - not everyone has to. it's based on risk profiles. I have to as my dad has diabetes and I've got a high bmi. also if they spot anything in your urine test you might have to do it.

I'm dreading it. not sure how I won't be sick! urghh!

Roxyxxxx · 16/03/2014 22:09

Thanks to everyone who has said hi :-)

I am enjoying creme eggs far too much too, and anything I find on Pinterest such as brownie recipes! Perhaps I should book my glucose test now?! :-/

Sorry to hear some people in pain. Hope you feel better soon and don't be afraid to get anything checked out that you are not sure about.

Hope everyone had as much fun in the sun as I did today, got some fresh air in some gardens. Night all!

Plateofcrumbs · 16/03/2014 23:39

After my crazy lady panic earlier baby has been body-popping all evening Smile.

And such a lovely day! Sat out in the garden until it was dark. Tough yoga yesterday and a hilly few miles on my bike has totally worn me out though!

BlueC2 · 17/03/2014 01:39

Hello all...we'll...I can't blame this on DS tonight but beena wake for at least an hour already (currently 1.30am) it would seem my body likes to havea. Few hours sleep and then spend a good amount of time awake Hmm Just had a nice bowl of coco pops but now fancy mini eggs with all this chat about them...they are some of my fav chocolates! My left side rib pain seems worse this evening...been consulting Dr google and probably just pressure from baby and shifted organs so nothing that can be done! Don't think it's bruising from kicking as haven't felt any kicks up there yet...I know DS bruised my hip and rib bones internally with his kicks but that was late in the 3rd trimester.

plate glad you are feeling better- can't believe you managed a cycle ride, not sure how we'll balanced I'd feel! And inca impressive horse riding too!!

We've got a week away from Sunday onwards so might start my packing list since I'm so wide awake...May as well make use of the time eh?!

Plateofcrumbs · 17/03/2014 08:08

Yeah incapinka I think you officially win the weekend with your dressage success - most impressive!

jbiscuits · 17/03/2014 10:09

Another one here now wanting mini eggs wonders if the corner shop will take card for a single bag

We also had a BBQ yesterday, although ended up eating inside as it was a bit cold with the wind. I'm impressed with the bike riding and horse riding. A half an hour walk through the park yesterday was enough to wipe me out for the rest of the evening!

ZingSweetCoconut · 17/03/2014 11:10

hi roxy, welcome!

we have Eggs, mini eggs (for treasure hunt) and micro eggs (to decorate crispie cupcakes).

would that be enough? course not!Grin just bought some Kinder eggs - but they are for today.
if the offer for our seller is accepted (fx fx fx) and the chain is complete I figured we can celebrate eating chocolate.
and if it doesn't work out we can have them as consolation prize.

5 hours to go. I find it hard to stay calm.

liquidstate · 17/03/2014 12:20

I woke my husband up last night by saying 'stop that you little shit' in my sleep. The baby was kicking me in annoying places. I fear for my parenting skills. Blush. Thing is I don't usually swear Confused.

I have mini eggs, yum.

ZingSweetCoconut · 17/03/2014 13:33

Thanks for all the crossed fingers, toes & eyes - you can untangle them and celebrate with me, because the answer is YES!

Our sellers had their offer accepted so not only will be moving, but we'll be in before baby's born!

I'm so excited and happy! yay!Smile yay!

Good luck to anyone still waiting for 20 week scan.

ismarah · 17/03/2014 14:31

That's brilliant news Zing Enjoy the celebratory Kinder Egg!

I brought a rather large pile of clothes with me on holiday, expecting to not fit in it all by the time we return. How wrong could I have been?! I can wear one pair of shorts at this time - and I can't even just cut out the elastic in desperation as it's actually sewn into the waistband! Helpfully, I also apparently told DH that he had far too much stuff packed and so he left a bunch behind.

Seeing as how the weather here is less than lovely today, we're going shopping. Sigh.

BlueC2 · 17/03/2014 15:21

zing woohoo :) fantastic news!

ismarah we are going away next week-just in the UK but I'm already wondering what to pack!

liquid love your comment which woke your DH up-classic!

I had another awful night awake from 12-3.30 :( and DS been v hard work this morning but I've just managed to have a powernap on the sofa and feel quite revived :)

fifi669 · 17/03/2014 17:03

Just watched DS run into a wall.... Hoping not all boys are like that!

Howly · 17/03/2014 17:16

Oh kinder egg, yum!! Just had a creme egg to pick me up after a long day on my feet, worked a treat!

zing congratulations !! How exciting and a relief! We have someone coming to view our flat for the second time on thurs so hopefully she will put an offer in, let's hope your good news rubs off in us!

My bump is humongous today! All kids at school noticing!

Plateofcrumbs · 17/03/2014 17:51

I went off creme eggs when I got a whole one stuck in my mouth and I nearly suffocated on it. Mini eggs and kinder eggs though, now you're talking.

I genuinely don't know how or why I ended up with a whole creme egg in my mouth, but the horror of near-death-by-creme-egg lives with me to this day

jaykay987 · 17/03/2014 19:30

I feel very sick. My main achievement of the day has been demolishing a bag of mini eggs.

I do not hold myself responsible - I am blaming every one of you! Grin

Great news about the house zing!

icklekid · 17/03/2014 20:02

I've fallen in love with my dh all over again, hes back from supermarket with mini egg cakes z:-) :-) :-)

howly I can't hide from kids or parents any more very obvious bump!

zing great news that you will be in before baby comes, bet that's a relief.

Also I want to go on holiday! May is too far away!

coco808 · 17/03/2014 20:31

great news about the house zing you must be so pleased!

ickle sorry didn't realise you too were suffering from SPD Sad

I've got a GP appointment in 10 days or so. Will ask her about physio.

I'm not sure whether it is safe to do pilates or yoga with SPD??

blue hope you have a good night sleep tonight

I slept with the dreamgenii pillow last night. woke up in the middle of the night with horrendous nightmares and with the pillow lying on top of me!!!

KitKatChick · 17/03/2014 21:04

Just to offset the mini egg discussion - has anyone tried the Tracey Anderson pregnancy project dvd. I've just started on month 4 and it's so hard! I hope the workouts ease off with each month but will try to keep it up for now.

Congratulation zing - how very exciting and with a bit of luck you'll be all settled in before the little one arrives.

Pilates should be good for SPD, coco, but I'd recommend going to a class and letting the instructor know you have SPD. I go once a week and even without SPD I get given alternative exercises which are more suitable.

Incapinka · 17/03/2014 21:23

Grrrrrrrr!!!! I went to bed last night thinking of mini eggs and how I would buy some today only to forget and now read this thread and now have a craving for mini eggs! My nephew aged about 1 managed to find a creme egg and stuffed the thing in its entirety in to his mouth. It filled it completely and we couldn't get it out. My poor brother had to spend the next 15 minutes slowly rotating it in DNs mouth until it had melted enough to shrink. It was revolting and whenever I hear of creme eggs I think of the poor boy! He was fine by the way!

And thanks Blue and Plate! Am so pleased he (horse) behaved and did so well. He is a failed racehorse so even more rewarding. Off again on Sunday subject to riding clothes still fitting!! I do wonder how much better he would go if I had a full nights sleep!

NancyinCali · 17/03/2014 21:35

I'm going to have to go and see if my local store sells mini or creme eggs… I suspect they might be made with American chocolate though Hmm.

mummytobejuly2014 · 17/03/2014 21:50

congrats zing
24wks+2 today. Had quite a steady growing bump but the last couple of days it has exploded I feel/look massive & feel so tight/bloated & uncomfortable :s
guna try get back 2 drs 2mro as dnt feel up to going back to work on wed, hoping to get sick line extended to the monday maybe

icklekid · 18/03/2014 02:52

Yep coco mine is a pregnancy specific pilates course and she has lots of experience with spd always says if struggle with back do this not this etc. Really helps with movement as physio said today pelvis is stiffening up causing more pain. She gave me a tubigrip support for now and after 1 day I hate it but need to give it time to see if it helps! Why am I awake at 2.30am? [Sad]
