Hi all, I have my BFP and due 30th October. It's my third baby and was 2 weeks late with the last two so bound to be November.

Anybody else for November yet? I know it's very very early :)

Hey Mabel, it sounds like a stressful time Sad It is normal for symptoms to come and go this early in pregnancy, so that's not something to worry about too much. Does it feel like your other MCs? What will your GP do for you - is there an option for an early reassurance scan? Hope you're ok xxx

Nessalina · 17/03/2014 02:41

I'm up with a delightful bout of the trots Confused My digestive system is so confused right now Shock

barmybunting · 17/03/2014 06:24

Oh Mabel I'm sorry, it is a tough time for you. I hope it is just a stage of your pregnancy and not the worst as you are fearing. If you can't get through to your drs office, can you go to the drs itself and just wait until someone can see you? I'm not sure how these things worth in the US. I will be thinking of you and I hope all is well.

My DH is also going away later in the week for about 10 days with work. I felt fine about it last night, but have woken up feeling sick with nerves this morning.

I have however done another cb test this morning which is now coming up as 3+, it came up with 1-2 a week ago on Sunday so at least something is happening! I know these things don't mean anything, but it's reassuring to see it hasn't frozen at 1-2.

MabelMay · 17/03/2014 06:36

Nessalina my other MCs were a but different. First came out of the blue around 6/7 weeks when I just started bleeding quite suddenly when at the shops. 2nd was an MMC at 9 weeks found at scan - my
Symptoms had gone for the week leading up to the scan, so I had a feeling.
This is mainly another gut feeling, coinciding with my boobs going back to normal and sickness and tiredness disappearing. Then all these little bits coming out of me. I don't mean to sound so negative, it's just a feeling

barmy I will definitely try to see someone, somewhere tomorrow as really need to know what's happening can't bear this limbo.
I'll let you know how it goes. Thanks both for your concern.
Great news re your CB test barmy. Nessalina sorry about squits but all a good sign of a burgeoning pregnancy!

MrsWombat · 17/03/2014 06:46

Very sorry for everyone who is having a rough time. Flowers

StudyFullTime · 17/03/2014 08:16

I'm exactly 5 weeks today and am exhausted, my boobs are huge and sore, DP joked that it was twins last night....ermmm don't think so dear

Sorry to everyone that is having a rough time, it's really stressful especially knowing that there's nothing you can do to stop/prevent mc.

I had a missed mc at 8 weeks a few years ago but had a feeling all was not well, I think your body does know when things are not quite right...

hope you are able to get a scan soon mabel, sending you good luck over the pond

alita7 · 17/03/2014 08:25

Hope you manage to get seen Mabel.

I am now going to stop telling you when the spotting stops and just when it's there, assume if I don't mention it its gone, it seems every time I say it's stopped it comes back. Had a small amount of watery red (much less than before) at aabout 2 am which is now pink. But I'm feeling sick still so I think it's Ok.

Nesselina I second you on the dodgy looseness :p

WinterLover · 17/03/2014 09:38

hope your all ok. Ive got an appointment at the gps this afternoon. Hopefully he'll put my mind at rest

MrsWombat · 17/03/2014 11:31

I've booked a private early scan at 8 weeks. Didn't realise it would be internal Shock but needs must. Working in an antenatal clinic I think I'm over aware of how often things go wrong and it's been playing on my mind a lot. Sad At least this will put my mind at ease for a while.

PosyFossilsShoes · 17/03/2014 12:34

I am developing an increased appreciation for London Underground station staff. I had to hop off the tube twice this morning in order not to spew and both times the staff noticed and checked I was ok despite it being really busy. They must have eyes in the sides of their heads!

MrsWombat · 17/03/2014 13:16

Posy - I ordered a Bump on Board badge from TFL (thinking it would take months to arrive) and it arrived a couple of days later. Before the hospital sent my booking info! TFL staff are generally helpful and lovely anyway in my experience. Hope your trips in to work improve! X

PosyFossilsShoes · 17/03/2014 13:29

Oh I've already got one!! That was with the benefit of the badge (and accidentally outed myself to next door neighbour as had it on before I left the house, it was already on my coat).

I know the badges are passive aggressive but if you feel like death and you don't have a visible bump they're v useful. I'm going to try to leave for work really early so I don't get the worst of the rush hour… but I'm rubbish at getting out of bed at the best of times so let's see how that goes...

Tigsy · 17/03/2014 13:58

Hope all those who are struggling are ok and problems settle down.

We're off to Cornwall tonight for the week to stay with DHs family. Will hopefully be a good distraction to get me through the next week, as private scan is in 2 weeks, which is starting to play on my mind.

Got my booking appointment through for 8th April, when I'll be 8/9 weeks (all being well).

Hopeful83 · 17/03/2014 15:51

Any tips to stop this constant nausea? I've only actually been sick once but feel so sick, permanently full and have no appetite, also bowels dodgy (glad that's not only me). I'm trying to force food down as I know baby needs it but I feel so ill. At the moment it's all a bit much. DH is in New York and I'm still bleeding (brown spotting only but it's been 5 days now). All in all it's not going well. This thread is such a comfort to read as it makes me feel less on my own. Keeping my fx for everyone else having issues too x

RandomInternetStranger · 17/03/2014 16:01

My morning sickness is not too bad, only mild nausea but I find as soon as I start feeling queasy I have to eat, and keep eating. If I let myself get hungry I'm immediately sick. I also wear sea bands on my wrists, I have an anti-sickness pulse point roll on I got from a health shop, ginger sweeties, ginger root in food & juices, ginger and fruit cordial, ginger biscuits, ginger beer - ginger ginger ginger!! Smells set me off - coffee, the cat tray, certain foods, at the GP the other week it smelt of old lady wee and I had to leave, I was retching the whole time. Other than that sleeping through it is always a good one though impractical!

MabelMay · 17/03/2014 16:23

All spotting etc. seems to have stopped. So I don't know what's happening. Have a visit booked with a nurse in an hour - but I think it's just to check whether I have a UTI or not. My ob-gyn is hopelessly unavailable.

I have a scan booked for 11 days - which seems like an eternity given everything that's been happening. Oh well... I take a tiny comfort in fact that no more cramping and no more 'stuff' coming out, for now. Who knows...

Hopeful - in previous pregnancies I found sucky sweets really good, or little bites of ginger biscuits.

As long as spotting still brown and not getting heavy then I'd assume all is well. So hard though, I know.

Healthy baby vibes to everyone else.
x

Annarose2014 · 17/03/2014 16:46

Woke up twice last night needing to wee. Well when I say wee, I mean "piss like a stallion after the Grand National".

No wonder I'm tired all the time!

Also, may have eaten my body weight today in white sliced pan sausage sandwiches. I'm an eating machine and I don't even care! The only time I'm sick is first thing in the morning and last thing at night and I think its cos those are literally the only times my stomach isnt full!

PosyFossilsShoes · 17/03/2014 16:49

Sucky sweets are a good idea. I've got a recipe for an anti-morning-sickness smoothie too which I'll post when I'm home (it's long and I need to write it all down to go and get the ingredients!)

Snook99 · 17/03/2014 17:05

May I join please :) think I'm due 7th (by my calculation) feeling rubbish so will be good to see how you are all feeling x

AussieGoingHomeSoon · 17/03/2014 17:05

Hi all, hope those with worries have their minds settled soon.

Got by booking in appointment for 22April and 12 week scan for 1st May which ill be 13weeks, thought I'd get one sooner as I let them know nice & early. But it's Aussie Mothers Day the following week so will probably tell my family then, if I can hold it in & all is of course well. It's gonna feel like a long 6 weeks !!

My insatiable hunger seems to have finally gone, thankfully as I've put on 5lb already which I'm sure if made of bread, pasta & cake !

My previous pregnancies I had loss of appetite once pregnant but I was a lot bigger then so hoping ill be able to control my eating just a little !

I generally feel pretty normal and symptom-less a tad queasy in the morning a bit like motion sickness but fades in a couple of hours usually. Tummy is feeling a bit rounded but I think that's the carb bloat !

Any with nausea I also 2nd ginger sweets or strong mints or fresh cold air, go for a quick walk !

Tigsy, enjoy Cornwall !

Posy & MrsW, also got my bump on board badge, it worked 70% of the time, if you don't look pregnant, people don't seem to notice it, so stick that tummy out, especially when u feel ill or get to that uncomfortable later stage !

Also welcome to all newbies !! & congratulations to you all Smile

Happy St Patricks Everyone, DP is Irish so out for a big one tonight, & I might have a naughty Cup of tea !!woo hoo Wink

WinterLover · 17/03/2014 17:13

Thanks everyone. I have a scan at epu tomorrow. Will try to catch up with everyone later when DS is in bed Grin

BJZebra · 17/03/2014 17:13

I woke up this morning with the normal symptoms gone. instead of going to bed early and waking up early I couldn't get to sleep and was really tired this morning.
feeling very very slight period type pains is the only thing I can notice but boobs aren't sore. I'm hoping its just the next phase.
So sorry to read of those of you that are having a difficult time.
its crazy that we miss the unpleasant symptoms, but it makes us feel confident that things are good Smile

CraziesTogether · 17/03/2014 17:18

It's is so reassuring to hear all the symptoms people are experiencing!

I have had really bad cramps the last few days, which I am hoping is constipation- explaining this to my very prim male doctor was amusing.

Anyone else suddenly not giving two hoots about discussing windy bums, poos and other bodily functions with anyone who dares ask ' how are your symptoms?'

I have been referred for an early scan tomorrow to check all
Is ok...just have to cross everything that it is.

Lol at Aussie- I also have the odd sneaky tea (fully caffeinated) x

alita7 · 17/03/2014 17:38

Hey guys I'm feeling really low with all this spotting, it's just really worrying me. I'm relieved that I have a scan tomorrow but after my previous pregnancy being a mmc, I'm scared as I've never had a positive scan. I'm trying to stay on the positive side and my instinct is that It is Ok (with the mmc i thought it was fine but had a feeling at the back of my mind that it wasn't where as this time it seems to be the other way round, worry but it feels like it's Ok deepdown) but it's just really getting me down, especially when I'm so tired and emotional at the same time. :/

Sorry to rant just needed to vent how I feel a bit. Fingers crossed for tomorrow morning!

alita7 · 17/03/2014 17:39

Looks like 3 of us have scans tomorrow, I hope we all report good results :)
