Hi all, I have my BFP and due 30th October. It's my third baby and was 2 weeks late with the last two so bound to be November.

Anybody else for November yet? I know it's very very early :)

Winterlover see if you can get one on the Nhs, I don't know what you need to have happened to get one, I got one from light spotting, you might get one if you exaggerate your pain a bit... better than you worrying!

alita7 · 15/03/2014 16:57

Also very sorry to hear hufty dufty I hope your next cycle is the one!

nickiswiss · 15/03/2014 17:07

Hi, can I join...been doing the tests everyday for a week and finally got a decent lineSmile
I calculate i'm due 11 Nov, so excited but feeling so sick and crampy. Also can barely deal with my sons nappies at the moment...all smells are 10 times worse and make me retch!

utopian99 · 15/03/2014 17:28

Hi barmy we're exactly the same. Trying not to tell till 12 weeks but it's harder this time than with ds! How much do early scans cost? Am still testing pg and having settling pain but not much else. Only 4+2 anyway, but an early scan would make me feel so much better!

Also hugs hufty and will cross everything for a sticky Christmas bfp..

barmybunting · 15/03/2014 17:57

winterlover I think if you're feeling very concerned, I'd contact the midwife to see if she can alley some of your fears and sort out a scan for you if she thinks something needs checking. I totally understand your worry!

alita has your spotting stopped now? I hope all is well.

dilsy just as well you told your best friend given the snip situation, that was well timed!

Utopian, I'm not much further ahead than you, about 4+6 today. I think the price of early scans vary. A quick look seems to bring up info around £90, but I know a friend recently had one done for £45 or so. I think it depends where you are.

I've thankfully had no more spotting today, af would have finished yesterday so hopefully it was just linked to that. I'm going to phone the gp if it starts up again.

Just wondering- can you contact the midwife for advice/concerns in early pregnancy if you have had your booking in appointment yet? I'm not overly impressed with my gp so would rather speak to the midwife if spotting does start up again but not sure if they'll speak to you this early on.

BexBoo12 · 15/03/2014 18:02

Barmy I'm 15 weeks so starting to relax a little now. I've got everything crossed for you!! How far along are you? X

alita7 · 15/03/2014 18:03

Barmy I think yesterday morning was just the last residue from the day before (was only pink tint go wee on toilet paper) and I'm not sure if there was a tiny bit of a pink tint to some wee mid morning today as the bathroom light bulb went last night but I think if it was it would have been the tiniest bit as the wee before was fine and so have all wees since. So short answer is it looks like it's stopped :) still paranoid checking every time I think I feel anything down there but crossing my fingers :) how's yours barmy?

barmybunting · 15/03/2014 18:49

That's brilliant bex! How was your scan? It must be lovely to see your little one! I hope your pregnancy continues to go well. I'm glad to hear you are starting to relax a it now. I'm only 4+6 according to when I ovulated I think. Very early on so a long way to go yet! I'm feeling positive though, I've passed the stage of when I started bleeding when I had a chem pregnancy last month and although I've had spotting from 7dpo-11dpo, and again this week, it has been very slight and seems to have stopped now so fingers crossed all is well!

Alita I'm glad to hear that it seems to have stopped now! Fingers crossed that is it for you and all will go well from now on Smile. It sounds positive! Mine seems to have stopped since this morning thankfully, it was slightly pink this morning which set me off a bit but I've had nothing since, and no more of the brown blood/cramps I had on Wed/Thurs so I'm feeling hopeful. I am doing exactly the same checking every five minutes, especially when you feel like something is happening down there. I think DH think's I'm a bit mad going to the bathroom every hour but I'm paranoid! I think I'll contact the gp if it starts again.

alita7 · 15/03/2014 19:22

Barmy it's hard at work isn't it, checking all the time!
I think I spoke too soon as shortly after I posted that I got a slight pink/orangey tint but I was doing a number 2 and apparently pink spotting sometimes happens during/ after bowel movements for some reason.

But I'm not too worried as I feel sicker today than I have so far, like extremely sick, like I'm just about to hurl but I just don't. So I guess I've just got to wait until Tuesday. Im hoping if there was anything wrong then i wouldnt spot a tiny bit, id bleed lots. I'm glad yours has settled barmy!

barmybunting · 15/03/2014 19:32

Yes, I'll be seriously glad to get to a stage where a heartbeat can be seen just for a bit of reassurance, although I realise that is no guarantee.

The sickness is a good sign I think. I'm holding onto similar, I've started to feel nauseous over the last few days so hopefully it'll be ok from here. Sorry to hear you think you've had a bit more, but hopefully it's linked to bowel movements. I remember reading something about that before. I hope you don't see any more and Tuesday is a good confirmation that all is well! In some ways, I actually think it would be easier to not find out until later on so not to have this worry, but I suppose we would only worry about having not known then!

WinterLover · 15/03/2014 19:33

ive been in agony for 4 months. Had a scan on 16th Feb and all was ok, just a bit of scar tissue from previous cyst. The pain subsided when I became pregnant but they're starting to come back Sad

Will see my doc next week I think

WinterLover · 15/03/2014 19:33

that should be scan before I was pregnant

BexBoo12 · 15/03/2014 19:36

Barmy lots of ladies on September thread had early brown spotting and a few still are and everything is ok with their little ones so try not to worry. Seeing a wriggly baby a few weeks ago was a blessing - I'd spent every week convincing myself I had dreamt it all!! I'm keeping everything crossed for you Barmy, sending lots of special baby dust your way xxx

barmybunting · 15/03/2014 19:49

That sounds like a good idea to go back to the Dr on Mon winterlover. I hope they can help you feel better. It sounds very sore!

Thanks Bex, I have heard a lot of people say they've had brown spotting. That's reassuring. The early lot was implantation I think, and given that this is only a week later I presume it's just a continuation. I'm feeling positive and am of the thought, what will be, will be - I would just like to know though really Smile. Really hoping to have nothing more, and be able to tell my Mom on Mother's Day. Months ago, when we first started ttc, I dreamt about telling my Mom on Mother's Day and I woke up wondering how I would wait that long, as I'd obviously be pregnant well before that (amazing how we think it will happen in the first month when we start!) so although I'm not a great believer in signs, that seems like a pretty good one to me given I've finally got a bfp that has stuck around longer and it's nearly Mother's Day Smile/

BexBoo12 · 15/03/2014 19:55

Sounds perfect Barmy Smileyour mum will be so happy - best present ever. Are you having an early scan? I ended up having one at 8 weeks, based on confusion over my dates as I was one of the lucky ones that only came off my pill end of October and was pregnant in December with no AF in between Blush it was so reassuring to see that little heartbeat x

barmybunting · 15/03/2014 20:30

Bex, I remember you getting your bfp and you wondering about dates, I'm glad they gave you an early scan to help with dates, it must have been brilliant to see the heartbeat! My booking in appointment is only at 9+4 weeks so I won't have an early NHS scan for any reason that I know of at this stage, unless I get more spotting in which case I'm heading to gp to ask for one. DH and I are currently chatting about having a private one before we tell our parents, but I'll only be 7 weeks when we tell mine so I think it may actually be a bit early to be of any reassurance and worry me more. We're still debating that one.

alita7 · 15/03/2014 20:49

I definitely believe in dreams being good indicators... when I had a mmc years ago when I was about 9-10 weeks I had a dream that I went to the toilet and the whole room filled up with blood, then at my 12 (13) week scan baby had no hb and measured 9+ 4. I don't want to scare anyone that's dreamt of miscarriage I've heard of plenty of women who had dreams like that who didn't mc but that's just what happened to me.

This pregnancy I also dreamt that I got 3 positive pregnancy tests, when I would have been about 3 weeks and a few days before I tested I dreamt my mum told me I was pregnant- I was trying 6 months and this was the first time I'd had such dreams!

I also dreamed a few months back that I had young boy/girl twins... maybe that's why I'm spotting? :P

Last night I dreamt that I was further a long and could feel my uterus so maybe that's a good sign that It will be ok.

BexBoo12 · 15/03/2014 21:04

Barmy, they do early reassurance scans from 7 weeks. I'm not sure where you are but I'm going to a place called take a peek in St. Helens for an early gender scan a week on Monday, and they do early reassurance scans from 7 weeks, they even do 3d scans that early!!! If you're a worrier like me, the reassurance I got from my early scan was immense. X

DilysMoon · 15/03/2014 21:33

That's interesting bex I'm not far from St Helens how early do they do gender scans? I wanted a surprise with my 2ds's but am a little bit tempted this time!

BexBoo12 · 15/03/2014 21:41

16 weeks dilys, they are only £40 Monday to friday, £50 at the weekend and you get 2 pictures x

barmybunting · 15/03/2014 21:44

Alita, that's interesting about dreams. I'm sorry to hear about your previous MC, that must have been very sad. Your dreams with this pregnancy sound very positive!

Bex, hmm, you have got me thinking now... I'm in Lincolnshire, so if I am looking at the right St Helen's, only about 2 hours from there. I've just look at the Take a Peek website and the early scans are only £40 on a weekday which sounds brilliant for a bit of reassurance! I am trying to see if I can find anywhere similar more local just now. Thanks!

How exciting to find out the gender a week on Monday! I bet you can't wait Smile!

Annarose2014 · 15/03/2014 22:12

Oh guys, the TIREDNESS!!! It is out of all proportion. Yesterday I was yawning at lunch! On a day off!

I'm weary to my bones, I feel like I'll never be able to sleep enough. I almost feel drugged, its so bad.

And i definately feel hungry for two! When hunger strikes it isn't just peckishness, its this VIOLENT hunger where I can barely function.

This is hard going.....

Tigsy · 15/03/2014 23:07

Barmy I'll only be 7 + 2 when I have my early scan. Obviously the later you can leave it, you'll see more, but I just want to see a heartbeat before I tell anyone. Prices vary and unfortunately seem to be much more expensive here- £99 is the cheapest I've found but think it will be worth it for reassurance. It also gives me an earlier milestone to get to, to break things up a bit!

BexBoo12 · 15/03/2014 23:25

Barmy it's a brilliant price isn't it? I'm sure there'll be places closer to you that do a similar package but at least you've got the option. I can't honestly tell you how amazing it was to see that heartbeat - of course I still worried but it did relieve some of my anxiety and if I'd needed to pay for that reassurance, it's definitely money well spent Grin I hope you find something closer. I can't wait to find out now, I was adamant I didn't want to know but DH has talked me into it!!

utopian99 · 16/03/2014 06:58

Does anyone know of a place for early scans near Woking? Don't know if we will yet on price but I think I'd like to if possible for reassurance. We found out ds' gender as I had a silly bee in my bonnet about wanting a boy but don't think we will with this one as would be happy either way and others around you always seem to enjoy the speculation!
