Old thread is getting full so here's a nice new one for all our moaning, paranoia and getting each other through it. Can someone do the honers and copy our edd list over? Maybe link the old thread too?

Swearing more = sweating more (nice!)

I am at 7 wks 1 day and have been ridiculously tired for 4 days - when do you start to perk up again! It's so rubbish feeling exhausted all the time! X

MrsF the exhaustion is so tough but you'll start to pick up around 12 weeks.Smile

I'm with you on the sweating front
granny. Some nights I have to get up to change my pj's!!

mrs f I was in bed by 8.30 last night. The exhaustion is debilitating! In my previous pregnancies it's lasted till about 12 weeks. That seems such a long time away at the moment and is quite a depressing thought.

I'm not convinced those sea bands worked yesterday. I'll wear them again today though.....I'll try anything to feel more human.

Good morning all.
Horrible night sleep again! But on the plus side digital test says 3+ this morning so things are moving forward.
Sending all the sleepy heads a Brew. Hopefully only a few weeks to the energy levels come back. FX

Horrible vivid dreams last night about losing little pea. Woke up in a panic as it felt so real :-( The mind is a cruel thing.

Grannyapple thanks for reminding me about the Gap sale, I've just ordered myself some jeans (and a jumper to get free postage - oops, and maybe some stuff for the DCs).

And of course I'm slightly stressed now as I promised myself I would order anything until after my scan - although if I'm anything like I was with DC2 I'll be in those jeans by about 10 weeks.

Snap. First dream about being pregnant or babies or anything, and it's a miserable one. Now have feelings o doom. I don't feel sick though, so that's a positive. Or a negative... dooooooooooom.

So 7+4 here. Had a scan at 6+5 due to two weeks of spotting. Epu allowed me to self refer due to no interest from doctor, booking in not till 6th march and mc in November. We saw a heartbeat, yay! Never had any pregnancy symptoms with ds. This time round sore boobs and feeling nauseous. Went out for curry with friends last night, had to leave it as made me feel sick. Slight sickness last night, tryung to swallow the bloody horse sized folic acid and pregnancy vitamins made me wretch! I'm normally a massive fan of eating meat but just not feeling like it at the moment. Wondering what on earth I will survive on!

I normally have very vivid dreams so not much has changed there! Def been feeling more emotional but not moody/snappy, that said I don't tend to get pms symptoms like that anyway so perhaps that has something to do with it?

6 weeks today! So good to be able to tick off another week, still early days though-keeping fx for no morning sickness!!

I bought some maternity jeans and trousers last week magichandles as was on oxford street so lots of choice. My jeans are feeling tighter by the day so expect I'll be in them at 10 weeks again! Blush

Pebble me too! I had a horrid dream that I did a digital test & it said NOT PREGNANT with a huge hazard symbol. Woke up at 5am all upset.

I went and bought some work trousers a size bigger than normal as mine were just a bit tight doing them up. Think they'll last another month or so! Officially 10w today due to long cycles. Only 2 weeks until scan day Smile

Wow mundaycakes, that's brilliant. How exciting. I've still got almost 2 weeks until my booking in app.

7 weeks tomorrow here (although actually only 6+1 today as I know when I conceived). Think that means there should be a heartbeat now. FX!

Oooh Munday - you might be the first 12 week scanner! How exciting! 8 weeks today here and still feel ok. No sickness thank goodness but my brain is mush - finding it hard to concentrate on work and ds!

I've got my GP-random-panic midwife appointment on Saturday morning. Speaking to the community midwife on the phone, it sounds like I'll get a scan as part of it since I've had quite a lot of cramping (all along though, right from week 3, comes and goes). I don't know whether to take my bf with me or not - the rest of the appointment will be really boring for him, and to be honest I don't really want him there. But if the scan bit is bad news, then I will want him there. Dither.

6 weeks today! Still no sickness, thank goodness, though I do struggle to eat supper because I'm not feeling like food in the evenings any more. So far, nothing to see: I think I've probably lost a couple of pounds just through loss of appetite...

Anyone else getting night sweats? I sometimes wake up freezing and clammy. Yuck.

Morning everyone Smile

I called the midwife first thing this morning and she said not to worry at all unless I come into direct contact with someone shingles. Feel a lot better now. Thanks for reassuring me last night everyone.

Pebble I keep having those sorts of dreams, it's awful isn't it?

Fx for today bingo.

Is anyone else looking forward to one born starting again next week? I loved watching it when I was pregnant with DD, I think it's a weird morbid fascination thing Confused

Report
sazzlehopes · 20/02/2014 12:47

Carebear, glad all ok with regards to shingles, always better to have your mind put at ease!
And YES!!! I love OBEM cannot wait for it to start - i watched when i was pregnant with dc1 all that time ago (he's 3 now!) and cannot wait to watch again. You're right, it is morbid fascination!

Yep. I have other friends who hate one born but I find it interesting and good to see that no matter how much pain there is it's for a very good reason and the end result is amazing.

As this is my first I am pretty scared about how I'll cope but I guess women for thousands of years did it with no hospitals or pain relief so we're lucky really.

Well my cravings seem to be citrus things mainly 'lemon' flavours at the minute so not the most exciting thing.

And i also cant wait for the new series of One Born, I watched it all last year whle pregnant with my dd, I feel like thoses weeks pass a little quicker, because iam always wishing the week away to watch the next one x
