Old thread is getting full so here's a nice new one for all our moaning, paranoia and getting each other through it. Can someone do the honers and copy our edd list over? Maybe link the old thread too?

Morning everyone. Sweetpea how old is ds? Can you nap today when he naps? DD ending up in with us again last night because she was coughing so much I was worried she'd be sick. She's so wriggley I really worry about her kicking me in the stomach.

ImBrian · 19/02/2014 07:50

Morning, im lying on the sofa with a 2 & 5 year old using me as a cushion. Im on half term at the minute and would kill for a lie in but its not going to happen.

Symptom wise I felt really sick over the weekend but now im not so bad. My boobs have got slightly sore though and I did manage to fall asleep yesterday afternoon.

so far I haven't told anyone even my dp, the faintness ofthe tests worries me and hes a massive stresshead so im waiting till I know everythings ok in there. Its my friends birthday on saturday so im hoping for a nice strong test line before then so he can help me avoid drinking.

Hi EDD twin hudyerweesht - I'm so pleased there are a few of us on DC3 on this thread - I've been feeling a bit Shock about it all, on the one hand I should know what I'm doing, but on the other I'm terrified how I'm going to cope!

SweatPeaPods - sorry you had a terrible night, DS has a bad cold and gummy eyes and was up for an hour last night just as I was going to bed, but that is nothing to your night!

GP appointment this afternoon which makes it all a bit official really!

devoncreamtea · 19/02/2014 08:26

i'm brian number 5 here too.....big oops!!! Mind if I join in? Just had the worlds most embarrassing conversation with a GP who was almost certainly not born when I took my GCSEs....she was still training and gave me a little talk on contraception!! I realise it might look like I'm clueless, but I did plan my 4 children and this pg is a bit of a surprise - I actually cannot imagine how on earth it has happened...anyway, I've got my head round it now and am feeling quite excited (in between feeling embarrassed!) Very lovely to read everyone's posts - especially the first timers - such a wonderful adventure the first time! I think I am only 4 weeks, so very early days still, no major symptoms as yet but expect morning sickness in a few weeks time. I have had sore boobs though - for the 1st time in pg! That's how I noticed something was going on...that, and crying when my daughter sang in the car as it was so beautiful...Hmm took a test very early on, almost a week before period - just to put the thought out of my head - and did the classic 'I'm being a wally it's negative' then turned back from washing hands and ta da - a tiny faint line. Wowsers, long post!

ImBrian · 19/02/2014 08:27

Magic I didnt find going from 2-3 that bad. There was a 23 month age gap between them and the only thing I would have done differently is buy a twin buggy as the school run was sometimes interesting!

officelady · 19/02/2014 08:48

Good morning ladies Smile
I had a bit of an aaargh moment this morning when I realised that I have known I am pregnant for a whole month. And then there was the month before that when I was pregnant but didn't know it. So that's 2 months gone already .... I mean seriously WTF! Hopefully I will have come to terms with the idea by the end of the 9 months Hmm
I see we have had a couple of newbies join the thread so I feel it is my duty to update the list:

There are a couple of names at the end of the list who need to update their EDDs Smile

Symptom-watch update @ 8 + 1 .... nipples the size of dinner plates, massive bloated belly, unbelievably annoying insomnia, awake half the night but able to fall asleep every time I sit down to watch TV during the day. Had to have a proper nana nap yesterday afternoon so I was awake enough to take my kids out for tea - my dd passed her driving test yesterday so I made her drive us home. I can see she is going to be very useful in the coming months!

sazzlehopes · 19/02/2014 09:02

Morning all, thanks for the new thread. All ok here, will be 8 weeks tomorrow - yay! I too am a worrier and trying so hard not to think something is wrong. I took another test yesterday just to see a line...i know, i know, ashamed! Still wishing away the weeks to see that everything is ok on that scan screen!

Also, so sorry for the TMI but is anyone else having loose bowel movements? Blush I don't think I've had a 'normal' poo since falling preggo. I'm so sorry to those of you reading this and eating breakfast! But hey, if I can ask here, where can I??!!!

MrsHende · 19/02/2014 09:21

Marking my place

thegirlwhouk · 19/02/2014 09:36

sazzlehopes - not just you! Mine haven't been normal since getting pregnant either. Though I fluctuate from loose to not loose, if you get my drift!

I'm feeling pretty OK this morning so going off to do some shopping. My tiredness and nausea don't usually kick in until about 5pm.

Hi to all the newbies :-)

pebble82 · 19/02/2014 10:18

Starting to feel a bit queasy now :-( thought I'd escaped it.

Also put on 2 pounds but nit eating makes me feel worse. Argh!

ohthegoats · 19/02/2014 10:31

Today I am mostly worrying about the state of my body.. hahaaaa.. how ridiculous. Already can't be bothered to hold in my tummy, it's bloated and my heparin bruises hurt. Whinge. And burp.

claptomania · 19/02/2014 11:19

Hello all - checking in too
My symptoms have really dropped off in the past couple of days - cause for concern? At least I have a booking appointment scheduled for Friday!

Binglesplodge · 19/02/2014 12:26

Wow, 2 threads already! I'm 5+5 today and feeling ok - I'm used to the sore boobs since it's been constant for a few weeks now and although I'm tired it's half term so I don't need to do much... I'm braving the gym this afternoon though, since I figure I won't be up to exercising if I do get morning sickness so I should do what I can while I still feel human! Hope you're all happy and well - to be honest I sometimes don't feel pregnant at all right now. I guess it will get more real as time goes on...

ImBrian · 19/02/2014 12:43

Im out, should be 4+5 but ive started to bleed so guessing its a chemical :(

pebble82 · 19/02/2014 12:49

So sorry I'm Brian. Next time maybe. Xx

I've just got irrationally emotional at work. A colleague just produced her scan pic as a surprise (although I'd already guessed she was pg). I'm so annoyed as I need to tell my team about my big news today too. Talk about having your thunder stolen. Had to escape to toilets for a cry at her spoiling my day! I know I'm being completely stupid and spoilt. Blaming the hormones as I'm not normally so selfish.

akachan · 19/02/2014 12:49

Really sorry to hear that Brian.

mum2kiss · 19/02/2014 12:59

If your colleagues are human pebbles they will be double whammied by your announcement! The place will be buzzing over with excitement all after noon!

mum2kiss · 19/02/2014 13:02

Sorry to hear that brian :(

tak1ngchances · 19/02/2014 13:18

Checking in to the shiny new thread...

Cakebaker35 · 19/02/2014 13:38

Just checking in with Flowers to brian Sad

sazzlehopes · 19/02/2014 13:43

So sorry to brian Sad

Katqwaszx · 19/02/2014 14:22

To all none newbies or those clued up!

Had some brown spotting and weird brown lumps, only when I wipe (sorry TMI). Is that normal? My GP said she had no idea what it was!

I don't really feel pregnant...no symptoms except boobs a little sore. Should I be feeling pregnant at 6+2?

Quietly panicking

Me23 · 19/02/2014 14:33

So sorry to hear that brian good luck for the future.
Brown blood indicates an old bleedfrkm somewhere usualy it js nothing to worry about howeverif it continues or turns red I would contact your local epau to get it checkrd out.

I'm 6+2 today and have no symptoms, I'm tired but with 2 kids and a very demanding job I'm always tired anyway.

mrsb87 · 19/02/2014 14:44

Wow a new thread already! Crazy!

Sazzle at least you are pooing!! With the crazy meds and lack of food I'm not "moving my bowels" as much as I should. Past couple of days you'd be lucky to get a wee out of me! Sorry if tmi its been another stressfull couple of days.
Another trip to hospital over night to be put on a drip again. Back home now and feeling determined to not go back so soon this time!
Bingo I hope your appointments are going well?

ExcitedCJ · 19/02/2014 14:52

Sorry Brian

Sazzle I'm out a fortune in tests, I am 5 + 1 & I must have done 6 already, all digital!
At least it tells me that the HCG is getting stronger, with 5 MC before my DD it helps to put my mind at rest.
Should be in line for an early scan at approx 8 weeks.

Kat had 2 or 3 weeks brown spotting with DD & had 2 weeks of brown discharge/spotting with this LO. Discuss with your GP again & ask for referral to EPAU as previous post.
